This is by far the BEST aquarium store in Northeast Ohio, possibly all of Ohio. I really cant imagine any other coming close. I asked one of their employees for their opinion on which substrate to buy and it ended up being a conversation in which I learned a lot - from the substrate to plants to which fish I could keep with red cherry shrimp safely. Their tanks are GORGEOUS and even more importantly CLEAN. You dont see any dead fish as you do at other fish stores. Their selections of products is also awesome and the best I have seen. Theyve got the specialty substrates that the other stores dont carry as well as some beautiful pieces of driftwood that other stores dont carry either. My husband and I stayed for at least an hour just looking through all of the products there. They also have a great selection of beautiful rocks for your tank for cheap. I will definitely be back when I am ready to purchase my fish. I cant wait to visit again! Highly recommended and worth the drive wherever you are in NE Ohio. :) Prices are comparable to those you find on Amazon - support a local business instead!

A true hidden gem! Since discovering Aquatica Superstore a month ago, Ive made the 60+ mile round trip from Cleveland 3 times. The entire staff are genuinely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful for any skill level -- the advice is free-flowing and spot on (in person or on the phone). The prices are also highly competitive, if not better than most of what Ive seen for this level of quality. Perhaps the best attribute is the energy and commitment of the owners to bring this pastime into the 21st century, with reasonably-priced custom tanks/setups limited only by your imagination -- and many examples on the floor to demonstrate possibilities. The sense I take away is an aesthetic wonderland (think the precursor to, or guts behind, an Apple store -- minus the pretentiousness and excessive markup) with contemporary designs, appealing visuals and continuous experimentation by an enthusiastic owner. This store represents the best of NE Ohio. Dont waste your time with most other shops. Go straight here and let your imagination run wild. I would give 6 stars if I could.

My first time here. In short, Good prices, knowledgeable staff, and the best selection. This is a first class, high end store and definitely the best fish store in north east Ohio. Inside this store is packed with seemingly 100s of freshwater and salt water tanks that are all very clean and well maintained. The display tanks are very well done - generally high quality all around. Not a single sickly or dead fish to be found. Aquatica is jam packed with a wide range of flora, fauna, and nearly every piece of equipment to satisfy the most high tech hobbyists. For me, the high tech fresh water planted tank hobbyist, there is a wide selection of substrates (including an ADA style that I have never seen in the US before), lighting (LEDs T5HO etc), complete C02 injection systems, automatic dosing pumps, maintenance tools, power heads, and of course fresh water plants and fish. This is my go to store from now on. It is worth the long drive - they even have leather couches and a HD TV in a waiting area!

We had a hard time finding the specific size tank we were looking for (65 gallon), and they have them in stock. I have never seen so many aquarium size options. 65, 35, 45, 55 dual, 125, nano set ups, bow, corner, wave, reef ready, rimless - honestly everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the owner is out on the floor. They have several rooms of fish. The vast majority are cichlids, but they carry a nice selection of other community fish and marine fish and inverts. We drove an hour to get there and will drive back for my major aquaria needs. They are very reasonably priced especially for the width and depth of their products (lots of options a several of each).

I have been in many aquarium specialty stores all over Ohio and none of them compare to Aquatica. It is almost 3 hours for me to go there round trip and this is why I have never gone. So after deciding to give it a try, I will never go anywhere else for my reef aquarium. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The store and aquariums were clean and just beautifully laid out throughout the entire store. The selection of equipment, fish, and corals were of the highest quality and quantity. The best part is that there prices were comparable and most of the time lower than other stores. I cant wait to go back. My only complaint is that its not closer to my home.

I was very sceptical about going to this place when I was in Cleveland for the OCA Show. I was driving throught the country and said there cant be much of a store out here but I was blown away when I entered this store. All I can say is gorgeous gorgeous corals, fish, tanks, etc. And such a great staff and man does he have stock. Everything I have always had to find somewhere online they had it there in stock. Worth the 1 1/2 hr drive for sure. I will b e seeing them again and buying from them online for sure. Thanks again.

Very Knowledgeable staff and eager to assist you. Well worth the hour and fifteen minute trip for me. The store has more tanks with fish in them than any other store I have been in and the tanks were all clean and clearly marked with prices. If you are into Chiclids, this is the place for you. They have everything form beginner fish to rare species. Could not recommend a better place for any level of aquarium enthusiast.

Great store, amazing selections and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I got my 90 gallon and most of my supplies and fish from them. I am lucky enough to only live 20 mins away, but I know others drive for hours to see them. Amazing display tanks set up and huge selection of salt and freshwater fish for sale. Only place I got for my fish...unless ordering directly from a breeder online. Check them out.

I drive over an hour one way just to go to this store. Its worth it just to walk through the store. By far the largest selection of cichlids I have ever seen. I have purchased quite a few cichilds from them and have not had one issue with any of them yet. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My cichlid tank is now complete and will hopefully be starting a nano saltwater with their help.

A very nice store with knowledgeable, attentive staff. A DIY warehouse for all things aquatic;both fresh and salt. I saw a piece of foam that was perfect for my sump partition and they cut it to size for no extra charge. Huge display of tanks both production and custom acrylic (made in house). HUGE selection of powerheads, pumps, sumps, skimmers, hang-ons, etc at VERY competitive prices.
