Ive been to this theater many times since moving to Eagan over a decade ago and never been overwhelmed or underwhelmed by the service and experience. My favorite thing about this location is a Taco Bell in the parking lot lol. However last night myself and a friend went to see a one time showing of the MST3K Reunion Show. We showed up 30 minutes early to get our pick of the seats and hunkered down for the show. During the 30 minutes we waited we never had video, but a soundtrack to some of their songs they did in show was playing. Im not sure if this was part of the show or video was not working the entire time. While we waited we had people catching Pokemon... really like 3 people lol We all laughing to the boob song and all that good fun and excited for this show. However at around 7:40 it became apparent they were having issues. No video was showing up and what appeared to be a windows XP screen appeared now and again, but never our show. A manager (I assume) announced they were having issues, but should be able to get the show going from the beginning and that they were on the phone with technical support. About 15 minutes later they announced that it was unrepairable and suspected bad wiring, needless to say it was a huge disappointment. This was a one time show and we werent told it couldnt be fixed until about 30 minutes after it should have started. I assumed they would move us to another screen or something, but just offered a refund and a voucher for a movie (with a bunch of restrictions). Normally I would be cool with this as I can just catch it another time, but in this case I couldnt it was a one time showing. If they would have reported issues early on before or right at 7:30 we could have ran to Rosemount and caught it there. On top of all that they only refunded me the ticket prices not the service fees I had to pay to purchase the tickets online (to make sure I got tickets), granted they were fandango fees, but I shouldnt be out the 4 bucks they should eat that. Ill probably go here again, but definitely will make me think twice about going there for something I really want to see in the future.

That was the worst movie experience ive ever had. Me and my younger sister went to go see despicable me 3. The only good thing about it was it wasnt crowded. They charged us almost 40 bucks for two small candies, a medium popcorn and two small drinks, we had to bring it down to one large drink(we wanted a medium) and two medium popcorns and that was still 20 bucks. Then when we were in there the sound was crappy and we couldnt hear it very well and if you closed your popcorn bag it was louder than the movie! Then this one guy was on his phone most of the time and had his brightness all the way up and we could see it from three rows back. My sister went and told someone and the manager came in, my sister signalled him to come over so we could point out the guy from our seats and he looked at her and ignored her and left and the man was on his phone again. After the movie I went up to customer service and told them what happened and that it continued after the manager came and we pointed to the man and said it was him the man with two daughters. The customer service lady went up to a poor old lady that had nothing to do with it and asked if her grandsons were involved and pointed at us saying that we said the boys were when the old lady said no and that she was holding the phones during the movie the customer service lady started yelling at us (we were at the customer service entrance and she was by the arcade) Then we told her we said it was the guy over by the concessions and she went over there and yet again pointed at us and said that we told on him or something. Then we left tired of the theaters bull. When we were waited outside for our mom to pick us up the man drove by flipping us off. My suggestion is never go to this theater there are plenty of theaters that dont overcharge, treat you with respect, and enforce their rules and policies. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

Cashier seemed flustered and annoyed we asked for the prices to the combos. The prices for the combos were not shown on the screen. We ordered, which included corndogs and he directed us to wait at either end of the counter because they would take 8-12 minutes. After waiting about 15 minutes we asked another cashier about our corndogs, they checked and came back to say there was a back up of orders and they could bring us the corndogs. We told her what theater. After sitting in the theater for about 20 minutes a different employee brought in the corndogs with ketchup packets and asked if we needed anything else. I thought the corndogs came with cheese and he said no, that we would have to purchase that separately. The picture of the combo showed cheese and ketchup as sides but neither one was offered at the register so it was assumed they both came with the corndogs. Also, there was no station to add salt besides a few salt packets. Not to mention its over priced. I feel the whole process was confusing and unorganized.

I swear I must be attending another theatre than the other reviewers, or its a bunch of astro-turfing. You cannot walk through the auditorium without crunching or sticking. The popcorn is always tepid and stale. The grease they put on it is flavorless, no salt to put on it--unless you count the little packets of table salt provided for other concessions--though theyll be happy to charge you yet more for a little plastic container of some chemical compound with a flavor reminiscent of cheese. The seating, visual and auditory experience is the same cookie cutter package thats been on offer for the last three-decades. In short nothing special, and not much of a competitor to the average family room.

I have to be completely honest. I used to love this place. For the first five years I lived in Eagan, this was my husband and Is go to movie theater. The prices are cheaper than the surrounding theaters and we never had to deal with too many other moviegoers ruining the night for us. The employees were always friendly as well. Unfortunately, with the rise of recliner seats in almost every other theater close by, we rarely go to Regal anymore. I have bad knees and feet and being able to comfortably sit in a theater is worth a lot to me. I get the feeling Im not alone in this. On the other hand, if Regal DID get recliner seats I would be back there in a heartbeat. I hope this happens!

Not quite as modern as many other theaters in the area, but it always seems pretty well-maintained and clean. Concession prices are absurdly high, but thats normal. My main reason for writing this review is that I went to see a movie a few days ago, and it was extremely dark (visually, not tonally). I did some research, and it seems that this happens when the projectionist fails to remove the 3D lens from the projector for 2D movies. Please, make sure your projectionists remove that lens! It made it really hard to watch the movie. Im also less likely to come back because I dont know if I can rely on the projectors being set up properly.
