This is the ONLY theater in AZ that still uses film projector (besides the Silver Cinema on Bell)... and therefore is a treasure! F you, digital with your BS, lack of brightness and sound. This is the last year that the studios are using film, and so therefore this is your last year to experience movies on film projectors for the rest of your life (thanks, James Cameron/Avatar). I wish the studios didnt do this, as there are only a handful of theaters (like this one) that still use film, and it wouldnt cost them much at all to keep film for those few that still do it left. Anyway, in short, THIS IS YOUR LAST YEAR TO SEE FILMS ON FILM! GO THERE NOW BEFORE THEY CHEAPEN YOU TO DEATH WITH THEIR DIGITAL NEXT YEAR.

Typically great theatre experience! Huge screen, good sound system, good choices at the snack bar, and decent seats. The theatre has 14 screens ... not sure if all of them are small, but ours was! Its not reserved seating so make sure you are in time to catch the good ones! The seats do recline but are not loungers ... there is ample legroom though! There are cup holders but no tables, which works perfectly for me! Tickets are usually $10, popcorn $5-7 and drinks $5. Comfortable, convenient and affordable!

Google Maps was wrong about how to enter this location, so Im glad I came in earlier. Its best to enter on the Shea side. Dont turn like the GPS will direct you. I loved this movie theater, surrounded by the eye candy stores. Parking lot is kinda small, and so is the theater. Concession stand prices were very high. Screening room was small, but I liked the coziness and the rocking seats. Bathrooms were spotless.

One of the oldest and best theatres in the Harkins family, the Shea 14 has mainstream movies plus a wonderful selection of independent and foreign films as well. Home to the Scottsdale International Film Festival each fall. Great staff and all of the great virtues of Harkins Theatres. Plus if youre doing dinner and a movie, over 10 great options within walking distance.

Lots more indies than the other Harkins (well except for Camelview). So if you like the small pictures or foreign films, youre going to end up at this location. No recliners or that fancy stuff. But its a Harkins - so bring your cup and get your $1.50 refill and settle in for your favorite film.

Pretty decent theater. Im not a huge fan of the size or the seating, but on the bright side its right next to the Baked Bear. If you come here and dont get an ice cream sandwich from the Baked Bear after youll make two pandas sad. Now go sit in a corner and think of what youve done.

This is one of the nicest theaters Ive ever been in so I give it 4 stars. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because they dont serve alcohol. Don Laughlins Riverside Casino their theater serves alcohol full bar and I give them 5 stars

Its old old place, not a great movie going experience. Its conveniently located, popular with older crowd and lots of great restaurants nearby. However, you will find some of the recent movies that are no longer playing in better movie theaters.

On the Shea 14 opening website it states that you have the reclining seats. I have been to 3 movies in the past several weeks, no reclining seats whatsoever in the theatres I was in. Can you state which theatre room they are in? Thanks.

Theatre was empty and easy to get into. Popcorn didnt really taste very hot and fresh. We asked for butter and it didnt taste like it. Too far to walk back to get different popcorn and movie had started and didnt want to miss show.

Its a classy theater compare to the festival theater in Fresno CA whare most other theater is small and the other theater room has twin Iles not stadium seating, Its a good theater if you cant tolerate stair climbing

An older theater but its still comfortable and clean. the staff is friendly and polite. The popcorn is very very salty and the parking lot is small given the location. Good first rate movies

Been attending this theater since it open. Always clean and the movie experience is the best. Only compliant would be too much salt on popcorn. Love the refill drink cups and popcorn offers.

Move along. I nothing to see here. Just like any other theater. But if youre looking for a good bite to eat either before or after, I would recommend either Butterfields or Woodys Macayo.

Very busy on sunday nights. This place can use some customer service training. Very small screens conpared to the harkins at 32st and bell. From now on, I will go to a different theatre.

If you dont like the parking issues and increased prices of the new Camelview Harkins, wait a week and the film will come here. Plenty of parking, less crowded and confertable seating.

I love all Harkins theaters and I go to Camelview, Norterra, North, 101, Shea and Casa Grande. Your service is stellar and I always get non salted popcorn and yours is my favorite.

I had a great experience watching a movie here, but the volume was turned up so high, it almost hurt to listen. Like a typical movie theater, it was also a little cold.
