I was there 02/11/2017 This place use to be an excellent place to party, the music they play now is Hip-Hip, Mainstream and Latin music. As you can see the types of kinds of music draws a certain type of crowds; due to nature types of music play, so many thugs are present. BTW: 1st. DJ M-Squared is internationally renowned as one of the world’s finest DJ/Producer’s. He is known for his eclectic sound; Please give me a break, hes a Juke box DJ 2nd. Style and unique ability to emotionally connect with any audience by transcending music genres and generational lines? Noboby was dancing beside the tourist, and they make the best of their time since theyre there. 3rd. Hes known From Miami to Dubai, and have a headlined some of the biggest nightclubs and festivals around the world. Im from South Beach; hes a reject from Miami & South Beach never good enough to play there. 4th. And now he calls the "Groove" home every Saturday night? The biggest mistake the Grove can make, on a 2 dollars DJs. My closing statement about the "Groove." All the Djs sucks horribly dont even know how to mix or how to connect to the audience, switches out songs every 1 minute, my opinion; they are 2 dollars Djs, shamed on the "Grove" to bring those types of Djs to play in the hottest clubs in City-Walk. I counted at least six Orlando Sheriff Officer in the club keeping peace in a small club which I have never had seen before many of time Ive been there in the past. Now I understand why they required so may Officer in the clubs, type of music bring in lots of local thugs to the club. Im sure theirs a lot of fights breaks out in that club to required that many officers monitor the place. If you want good dancing music, head downtown Orlando, DJ suck with incredible crappy talent, play nothing but top 40 and mainstream music.

Our night on the town was great until we made the decision to go to The Groove at Citywalk of Orlando. I have been there before but now the quality of service has degraded severely. We paid our admission and proceeded into the club removing my hat as requested. After entering the club, we proceeded down to the bathroom. After our wives exited the bathroom, one needed to sit down due to a headache. Apparently, if you are sitting, you do not belong. The man named Michael (claiming to be the club manager) came over and instructed us to leave since she was sitting down. We attempted to ask him why and he just kept repeating that you all need to leave. He could not tell us why nor would he even let us talk. He and The Groove staff caused the worst night of our lives. Michael for some reason had a vendetta against us and I have never seen this guy before in my life. My suggestion to you is to pick a better place to go as not only is the service poor but the atmosphere is not very welcoming. The only party you will have there is them throwing you out of the park if you sit down. The have chairs only for the VIP and it was obvious that they were empty because they already know this place promotes horrible customer service and an atmosphere fit only for the chosen. If you choose to go there, good luck and do not sit down as Universal employs angry employees that have something to prove by kicking you off the property

They got the little kids running the show. The guy checking Ids failed to recognize my real Florida issued state id and tried to pressure me into me telling him it was a fake. The morons made me wait 20 mins to have it verified and the guy was so rude. The guy in the suite who thinks hes a big shot with a 5 dollar haircut tried to pressure me numerous times. It wasnt until they contacted the cops that I proved them wrong. They issued zero apologies and the dude with the suite from jc pennys was no where to be found when the cops took 10 secs to determine it was real. Drinks are super expensive and cater to soak every dime out of tourist. Being a local I would stay a 100 miles from this poorly run club. Poorly run club and as annual pass holder to universal I wont be back until the clown squad is gone. They got pissed when I asked where my id was because I need to get home. Cops were nice but the staff are undertrained and need to learn what fake id is. 1 out 5 stars stay the hell away from this crap

Groove nightclub was the worst experience of my life. I spent 500+ in VIP to be treated like dirt by the staff, after leaving I was assaulted by a police officer groove pays to keep on the property in uniform while off duty. I spent a great deal of cash and acted very respectful with the group I was with to the gentleman who served our VIP table all to get pushed off the property, as I was told to leave I decided to pull out my cell phone to document the incident that is when I was arrested by the off duty police for "Resisting Arrest without violence", how can you resist arrest when you didnt commit a crime? I was then kidnapped by the officer and brought away from my friends into a city walk holding office. They then transferred me to the orlando Jail all over absolutely nothing. I am now in the process of suing city walk and groove night club.

I really enjoyed the music, the DJ was killing it. And the dancers on stage were sooooo gorgeous! Im giving it a four star because the shots were severely over priced and the security could have done a better job of keeping people from throwing drinks and acting like fools. Our group actually left because we didnt feel safe anymore with a mob of dudes pushing and shoving women out of the way.

The Dj is a very important aspect for a club. And their Dj was awesome.Thats is partially why this club got 4/5 stars. If I get there 30 minutes before the club is closing, I should be able to get in free. A cup of orange juice ciroc was $10.16.

Pros, A good place to dance, DJs, girls dancing, good music. Cons, $7 to get in, drinks are $8 and up. Neutral, lots of tourists, no reason to worry about looking stupid, not really any good dancers here, just people wanting to have fun.

One of the best clubs I have been to in a long time! The DJ was on point playing some of the hottest music consistently! He had everyone in the club jamming! I highly recommend this club!

Drinks was ok but the dj was great he played variety of music no one was left unsatisfied everyone actually danced and had a great time... I would go again...

Had A Great Time and Service was Good from Bartenders. The Place does get Packed come 12am. Prices are a bit high but its Universal
