March 2014 New seats good image quality images on new screen in theater 6 refillable drinks in lobby.. good sound. I am 65 years old and this was the nicest movie theater I have ever visited.Well worth the 6 dollar cost for a matinee. tuesday is senior day all day same price. Big overstuffed theater chairs throughout. Reserved seat process. Comfortable non crowded experience. Concessions are a little high but you dont HAVE TO buy popcorn. Its a choice after all. Update a year later this is the ONLY place I go to see movies. Still 5 stars

Pretty much the worst movie experience ever. There gift card system was down so they couldnt take the gift cards I had. The employees really had no idea how to problem solve. I received a bunch of dumb blank stares. The manager was short and rude. He had no idea what customer service is and if someone comes with a valid gift card you should do more then stare at your screen for 20 minutes and say "I dont know what to tell you I guess you cant see that movie now". I know that at another movie theater this would never happen.

I went in with a friend the other night right and tried getting into the movie, im 29 and hes 31. I had my I.D. on me, but my friend did not, but clearly he was a grown man and did not look younger than 18, they denied us service. The heavier set guy who looked like the manager even asked us to wait outside while we looked up another theater even though we were cold and just wanted to figure out what other movie theater to go to! This place has awful customer service! Do not go here!

Awesome theater! My boyfriend & I drove up from Salt Lake to see a movie that was only playing at the AMC in Layton, and we both agreed on the drive home that whenever we want to see a full-priced movie (we usually enjoy our dollar movies) in the future, we are traveling to Layton to go to AMC! I think the reclining chairs were what sold us...it was pretty much the greatest thing ever. Anyway, definitely 5 stars! I cant wait to go back!

You would think at the price you pay for a ticket the theater would be able to make repairs to a leaking roof. Dont go when its wet out.. at least one of the theaters has a roof leak which leaks on the projector stopping the cooling system for the projector. Movie was restarted 3 times before audience was issued a refund and explanation then sent away. The seating is nice but not if the can not keep their equipment dry and running!

This movie theater was awesome. It had the coolest feel to it and it was a very comfortable environment. The recliners were amazing and made for an awesome movie watching experience. I have been to a lot of movie theaters and this one definitely has a special feel. The food was also amazing. They had tons of great options including pretzels, popcorn, pizza, and lots of other things. Overall, a FANTASTIC experience.

OVERPRICED! Used to be a great value but their ticket prices have gone up nearly 75% since they remodeled. Having the lounge chairs isnt a novelty anymore as Cinemark now has them. Cinemark is now charging $5 for a matinee for adults and kids. AMC now charging $11 for an adult matinee and $8.50 for kids. Forget about the evening prices. AMC has lost my business until they reprice themselves back in the market. Too bad.

$12 for a 5pm show. Concession staff are pushy and rude. $9 bucket of popcorn and no refill unless you register your personal information on their computer so they can sell it. The 1st star is because the seat was electric and reclined nicely. I recommend the theater in Kaysville a hundred times more than this overpriced place.they say you get what you pay for but this place is selling Fords at Mercedes Benz prices.

This is absolutely my favorite local theater. It is equipped with La-Z boy style electric leather recliner seating in the standard auditorium setting. They offer a rewards card that gives discounts on drinks and pop corn as well as a 10 dollar gift card for every 100 dollars spent. The concessions are nothing to write home about, but they do have Coke Freestyle machines and allow you to butter your own pop corn.

The ticket and snack bar staff are very nice and helpful. The screen and sound are good. I know Im supposed to say I love the seats but I hate them. Im really tall and they arent very comfortable if youre over 58. If you choose not to recline theres no neck support, and if you recline you have to basically lay down for anything to be comfortable when youre tall. I dont particularly care for them.

Checkig clearly grown adults for ID? So Im walking up to hand over my tickets to enter the theatre, hands are totally full with snacks and this 16 year old kid wants me to drop my snacks to find my ID. Not only is this insulting, its plain out inconvenient, it leaves a seriously sour experience leftover. And on our way out, my wife and I witnessed them harassing some other group about ID.

I know that its under new management and that they got new seating - but the theater that we were in did not have those upgrades at that time... it was HARD to sit through the entire film because it was so uncomfortable. They still get 4 stars though, because I know that they are currently making improvements and renovations. I think that they are going to pull themselves together. :)

We always go to this theater to watch movies. I absolutely love the wide reclining seats. Choosing seats when we buy our tickets online is also handy. I think my husband also got a free drink for his birthday a few months ago and the soda machines are the kinds where you can mix different flavored sodas too. Staff has always been friendly. Great place to relax and watch a movie!

This is a very comfortable theater and is usually my go-to for movies. The service is really nice. I can buy tickets and get into my movie pretty quick and the staff is welcoming. I havent bought food from this place so I cant judge that, but I do enjoy the experience there and would definitely recommend it. The price of tickets is reasonable and sometimes is the best.

I feel that this movie theater is lack luster because of the simple fact that if one of the projectors is broken you cant go to a different area in the theater to see the movie at a different time. Like only one place to show the movie and not have a back up so you dont have to refund the money that the people spent to get in to see the movie.

Im not sure what Rachel is talking about. Im 65" and the seats are super comfortable. Ive never felt uncomfortable at any of the AMCs with this type of seating because of my height. A/C was at a nice temp, snacks were good and normally priced, most importantly the picture and sound were great for the showing of Spiderman: Homecoming I saw.

Best theater Ive ever been to! Saw Wonder Woman, it was wonderful. Their lean back recliner chairs/couches are amazing. Surround sound was awesome. We bought our tickets online and the Atom tickets app makes it very easy. Would come again if I had another coupon or for special occasions, new releases usually run about $10 a ticket.
