Im so torn. The ability to reserve a seat, versus arriving 90 minutes early to buy tickets, wait in a line, get good seats, only to have some jerk come and ask you to "scoot" down so they can sit in your seat (ugh) - well, its absolutely worth it. The fact that said seat is a nice leather recliner is even more fantastic. But sadly, thats where all the goodness ends. The bathrooms are soooooo gross... this theater is dirty. Really, really, truly DIRTY. Like, the area around the popcorn butter/salt, etc... just months and years of caked-on dust/dirt/grime. But the hardest thing to deal with is the "customer service". I have had their surly employees be everything from rude to utterly indifferent. Not to say that there have not been times when its been fine; there have. But their customer service brand is best described as "millenial". Some examples: We had purchased tickets (ahead, online) and a family member got very, very ill. I called about six hours prior to the showing, trying to find out the process for returning those. At first, no one knew. In the end, after much holding and waiting and calling back, the answer from the last person I spoke with, was that I had to drive to the theater (40 minutes) and physically present my iPhone prior to the movie starting, in order to return tickets. Um... Come on, Regal... pull it together. I know we use Fandango for ticket purchases, but there simply has to be a better way. If you can buy online, you can return online- if only someone there had the will to make it better. Today, I decided I would like to cash in my 47,500 Regal Crown Club credits. I went on the app, and utilized it to shop the Rewards, and chose three of the "Free 2D Restricted Movie Tickets" and a Popcorn Upgrade. Each time you select one, it takes you to a screen with a QR code and a long, numeric redemption code. Great! The QR code is for scanning while youre in the theater, the long numeric redemption code should enable me to use that free ticket online. Right? No. No matter what I do, it will not let me. So I call the Regal and the requisite surly, harried teenager answers the phone. I ask my question. He says to go on the app and sign in. I explain, I have done that. Im signed into Fandango, it shows my Regal Crown Club number on the screen, but it wont take the redemption code in the coupon or gift card sections, and no matter what it does not apply the credit. He says, "Hold on, I gotta get my manager." After some wait, he comes back and says, "Were busy." ....Okay...? I dont mind holding. "Well, were just busy so call back later." ....wow. So now Im scouring the regal website online and looking through FAQs and trying to provide myself with some sort of customer service... because NO ONE at this theater -for sure- ever will.

We *love* the seats in this remodeled theatre, and we are SO GLAD that the staff has learned to CLEAN UP THE FLOOR (because our shoes used to stick to it), and were glad that the lights have been replaced, so that we may safely enter/exit the theatre; HOWEVER, today when we saw "Jurassic World 3-D" we had a less than satisfactory experience, as some fat guy came in with his DOG and sat down next to me. I reasoned that, perhaps, the dog was a therapy dog of some sort, although it was too little to be a seeing-eye dog, and why would a hearing-ear dog be in a movie theatre? But since the dog was well-behaved, I had no objection. Wish I could say the same for the owner, who STUNK of stale beer, B.O., and cigarettes. Also found it unbelievable when the guy started SNORING!!! Then, halfway into the film, two people right in front of us were using their cell phones!!! What--was the movie too boring for them??!! I asked them to put the phones away, and they did, but I was fully prepared to complain to the Management if they didnt. In short, a lot has improved in this movie theatre, but other problems need attention. Went back today (my birthday!) to see "Shaun the Sheep" (cute, clever film!), and we were the ONLY ones in the theatre. The sound was on, but there was NO PICTURE. We have seen this situation before elsewhere, and we had been told that when the actual film/previews come on, everything would be fine. No such luck here. It was like that for 15 minutes, and then I went out to tell the only staffer I could find (a guy behind the concession counter), who was totally unimpressed and unconcerned when I told him ("Yeah--okay . . . "). After five more minutes (no sound OR picture!), I went out again, and this time went into the storage room behind the concession counter and found two staffers chatting. I asked the one guy if he is the manager, and told him the problem. He said hed "take care of it," but after five more minutes, I went out a THIRD time (since we could not see anyone in the film room upstairs). We were told that he was trying to fix the problem. When we got back into the theatre, the sound and picture were both working--and just in time. We almost walked out and demanded a refund, which would have been sad, because I bought the tickets 2 days beforehand and was really looking forward to it. Bad customer service, but I like the reclining chairs . . . but thats all. I wish the theatres were SOUND-PROOF. I hate hearing the soundtrack from other movies playing next door. :-(

We went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 last week. Towards the end of the movie, the movie stopped completely... after about 10 minutes of sitting in the dark waiting for the movie to come back on, my husband went to check to see what was going on. After about 20 minutes, they finally got the movie fixed and playing again, however they reset the movie about 15 minutes. Because of this, the movie ended early, and we did not get to see the end. The cleaning crew just came in and started cleaning and told us we had to leave. We were super upset. No one came in at any time and apologized, nothing. We went out again and we were directed to a manager that gave us tickets to come back and see the movie, which is fine, but they wasted 3 hours of our day and didnt seem to care. I even posted on Regals page, letting them know our disappointment, and no one commented back or contacted me, so this is why Im leaving them a poor review. I would not recommend this theater to anyone.

These seats are amazing. Leather electric reclining seats are definitely a must for the future of movie theatres. I really love how you can pick your seat, so no more waiting in line. Lots of space in between rows for you to fully recline your seat. The price for the movies is very fair for what you get. At $10 you cant go wrong. I had the unfortunate experience of being behind a group of about 8 or 9 people who would not stop talking or checking their phone, which I repeatedly asked them to stop. But this is at no way of the fault of the movie theatre. After I got fed up with them I left the movie halfway through and politely asked for a return on my money. After explaining the situation, the staff was more than accommodating to me. The only thing keeping me from giving this place a solid 5 is the "No outside food" rule. I find this rule very archaic and would like to see it done away with.
