The line of work Im in has me traveling around the central Florida area and abroad so when Im in between jobs as a reefer a.k.a. reef hobbyist I stop at the closet reef aquarium store my around me smart phone app can find. I think that makes me a better candid through hands on experience to make this statement. Top Shelf Aquatics by far has THE BEST customer service I have ever experience and for me who works in the service industry that means a WHOLE lot. I have been in stores that have made me never want to visit again either because of bad customer service or bad advice. Speaking about bad advice that brings me to my next statement; Top Shelf Aquatics has the most knowledgeable staff that I have ever got advise from. Each of Top Shelf Aquatics employee (Including Owners) have individual knowledge that they willingly pass on even if it means losing the sale at that moment in time for the better of your reef aquarium. Many of times I have been in this store and been set on buying a fish or coral and the staff in a collaboration by asking each other to make sure have advised me not to make that porches because its not suitable for the ecosystem I have in my aquarium. Yes I said it in collaboration because they are not afraid to ask each other as each of them have done individual research and individually have had their own reef tank experience where in giving advise they usually will call out across the store at each other if they have to only make sure on advise they are giving. Thats GREAT customer service if you ask me. Owner Kevin, staff Mitch, Mike, Sonjay, Kareem & Travis Make the best team I have ever seen in a reef aquarium store in the past 14 years I been in the hobby. Oh yea did I forget Co Owners Alex & Josh lol. Yes even Alex & Josh although not daily working in the store treat me / customers over all with the most polite and welcoming style I have ever seen in any reef aquarium store. Beyond 5 star customer service let me not forget one of the other most important reasons why this store is so awesome and thats that their inventory is TOP SHELF. I have come to notice that this is for many reasons so let me mention why Top Shelf Aquatics has the best reef/saltwater fish/ reef aquarium supplies in town 1. They have 3 to 4 LARGE shipments of corals, fish and supplies a week. (That alone is huge) 2. They strategically pick what their clientele wants / request and usually in less then a week if you asked for it you get it. Unless its hard to get but even if then it may take them a while but eventually you will get surprised and personally Kevin will call you up to tell you it has arrived. 3. Kevin the owner consults with the staff in every order before its made to make sure all supplies are accounted for and all clients request are ordered. 4. Last but not least Kevin the owner and sometimes staff go to hand pick from reef/fish farms in the broad Florida area (mostly south Florida where most coral/fish shipments come in from over seas and out of state) at least twice a month. Boy do I look forward to those days they return. Ok I can go on and on but I will say this last thing. Its been less then 7 months I found this store and in that short amount of time not only is my 72 gallon reef tank a 95% supplied by Top Shelf Aquatics home reef aquarium but I have also seen this place grow at the most extraordinary speed I have ever seen any business over all grow in clientele. THE GOOD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WORD GETS OUT FAST I GUESS. P.S. The only reason My 72 gallon Reef Aquarium tank is only 95% supplied by Top Shelf Aquatics is because I bought the tank and stand before I found this store 7 months ago when I decided to start a 72 gallon tank after owning another 34 gallon tank for the past 14 years. Whish I could post a picture on here to show you what my aquarium looks like only 7 months after starting it. Everyone would be amazed. Thanks Top Shelf, from your loyal customer Oby

The staff here is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, like most stores the quality and price is what brings me here. I find they cater to a wide array of budgets. The setup is almost like a jewelry store and has been featured on multiple reef channels including Mr Saltwater TV. Recently, I have been battling nitrates and came to the conclusion I needed a more powerful skimmer. Instead of making a sale Austin showed me a technique of limiting the air into the Venturi and increasing performance. My skimmer has never run so well. I regret originally not purchasing a skimmer from the store. The staff only sells products they stand behind and use in their own systems. Another way I find I save money at the store is through the knowledge of their two marine biologists on staff. Noel took the time to explain a lot of the creatures and their habits and how to best introduce them into my reef. The lackluster advice Ive received at other stores in the past had left me unsuccessful with a lot of the creatures that are now doing well in my system. Chris and Rock are also extremely helpful with their long-term knowledge in this hobby. Sometimes you have improvise and they genuinely have a real world solution. One example would be Rocks idea to hold a fish where a powerhead is pushing water across its gills after being near death from jumping out of a tank or feeding Tangs that are struggling to adjust ice burg lettuce. Im very grateful to have a resource like this so close to my home.

This store really is the best aquarium store in Orlando! They have amazing prices (no to mention their sales,) huge selection, friendly and knowledgable staff, and all the equipment you could hope for! I was looking for a specific angel that I couldnt find anywhere else. When I asked them about it, they put me on a list and called me not to long later to let me know they found one they could order for me! They do that with pretty much anything you are looking for. If they can do something for you, they will. Never before have I seen this much personal attention paid to customers, and they do it all with prices you would see at a superstore! They have a ton of rare and weird fish, as well as rare corals for the experts, but they are also awesome with newbies. A guy I know wanted to start a saltwater tank after having fresh for years. They helped him get stuff that fit his budget, and walked him step by step through the process of having his own aquarium. They even gave him a card and told him to call and they would help him if he had any questions through the process. He was stunned! Safe to say, we wont be shopping anywhere else. From experience, we know that everything we buy from there is going to be healthy and happy in our tanks. Stop by and visit Top Shelf! You wont regret it!

My experiences with TSA have always been great. The staff is very helpful with any questions you have and they wont try to sell you anything that you dont need. Their prices have always been amazing with sales just about every weekend. Its not the closest LFS that I can go to, but its definitely the only one that I will always go to anyways. Ill refer back to their kindness. I had attended MACNA, a reef convention that was held in Miami this year. I had won an aquarium and stand in a raffle. I wasnt sure how I would be able to get it back to my house, as we had only taken a little sedan down from Orlando and the setup wouldnt fit in the car. I was fortunate enough to know that the guys at TSA had went down to the convention as well and set up a booth. I informed them about the tank I had won and right away they had offered to deliver the tank back up to Orlando for me! Ive never had any LFS that had been this kind before. Ill say again that this is the one LFS I will go to from now on. They are the only LFS that Ive ever been able to fully trust. Definitely go here when you can.
