My family of four went there this past Friday for a night of mini-golf and games. The mini-golf course is pretty nice for an indoor course, but that is as where the compliments end. The entire time we played there were groups of kids walking or running through the holes. There was no supervision on the course, so we had to be our own rangers and ask the kids to look out or wait. With two smaller children with, I felt that they were either going to be knocked over, or have their ball kicked while they were golfing. It would be nice to have an employee keep an eye out for the paying customers on the course so that this would not continue to happen. Playing games in the arcade was our next step and the game selection was decent, but it was loud and crazy. After playing just a handful of games we had won over 300 tickets by hitting a jackpot on one of the games. The tickets have to go into a ticket counter that counts all of the tickets and gives you a print out of your grand total. I know that my math skills are very strong and our total amount of tickets would be over 300, but the ticket counting machine gave us a total of 250. We didnt care at that point in the evening because we wanted to leave and choose our prizes from the prize counter. The prize counter can be much more efficient if the employees would establish a system that works and they use their authority to control the chaos. There were two employees trying to help over 10 kids pick out their prizes, and this took over 15 minutes. The manager for the evening was also behind the counter, but he stayed back and watched as the two employees were doing the best that they could to help everyone. A manager should see that customer service is key in these instances and they should lend a hand or add additional help during peak times. After all of this I dont see us going back to this location again for quite some time. Luckily there are other choices in the area for similar family entertainment, and I would happily spend an evening at Brunszwick Zone, Nickelodeon Universe, or Triple Play Sports.

We held 2 Birthday parties in 2 weeks, Amazingly everything was great, the new indoor playground was a huge hit with the kids aged 7-10. Lazer tag is a nice facility with capacity of about 40 players by my estimation, games last a good period of time, fun for adults and kids. Bumper cars are nice, though the bumper car area is on the smaller side, didnt seem to effect it much. Pizza made in house was good, for the party. 3 hours was a good party time limit facilities were nice clean and appeared be well taken care of. Arcade games are on the expensive side, and we did not let the kids play them even though the package included 6 tokens per child, games averaged 2-4 tokens. We did not use the batting cages, the trampolines or the mini golf, but they all appeared nice. We felt the prices were fair and overall we were very happy, arrive early if you are hosting the party, the front desk can get a little bogged down, but overall we felt the staff all did a great job. A couple years back we visited for a quick game of mini golf and I remember being disappointed in the general overall of Grand Slam, but it appears to be well run and maintained now, pleasantly surprised when we stopped in the check it out before hand planning the parties.

The kids loved it. My wallet: Not so much. The "Unlimited" pass is limited to 3 hours from time of purchase, so theres the first hiccup. Second, we were there during a slower time when only another 6 kids were in the building so ours didnt have many to play with (if any) at laser tag or bumper cars so they were looking to us to play along (which is great because Im a "plus sized" 8yr old anyhow). Some of the staff were accommodating in this regard and let the adults play free, but the old lady (owner or owners wife maybe?) was grouchy and barking at us about needing tickets or wrist band too. When its busy, I get it. When its slow, let it go and build a better rapport with your customers by not charging for every last tiny thing. Its expensive here (games in arcade are a buck a piece, batting cages are $2 for 18 pitches) so maybe take it easy on the adults when its slow. Despite the expense and crabby old lady, most of the staff were nice and helpful and The kids had a good time. Call ahead though to find out about parties on the weekends, it tends to be a zoo and wait lines can be 15 - 20 minutes between games.

Im rating this place on the ten minutes I was in there. I along with another adult brought my children ages 2 and 4 in for a birthday party. We went to the desk and he seemed aware we hadnt been there before and had no idea what we were doing. We let him know we were there for a birthday party and he gave us two wristbands. We put them on and then we were informed by the host that my 2 year old had on the wrong wristband. At the desk he repeated to us that he was wearing the wrong band. To which I asked why we were given the wrong band in the first place. He kept asking us about our other children. Like no man just these two. Dont give us other childrens wrist bands thats on you buddy. And if she hadnt caught the mistake would the staff have let him do all the things he wasnt supposed to do? I was new there they should have taken the time to ask the ages or types of wristbands I needed for my children. Their, "Well we dont know which children you came in with." Excuse was bothersome. Then ask. Measure twice cut once. Or just continue to blame the customer I wont know Im not spending any of my own money there.

I was just here and I am very dissapointed in the staff. I was on the Xtreme Trampoline and small children were swearing, flicking people off, and doing innapropriate gestures with their hands and mouths. One threw a ball at my friends butt and winked at her, which is sexual harassment. They also had made it a point to pelt us in the face with balls whenever they were able. I dont think their parents were around, but this is something that should be controlled by the staff. I will not be coming back here, and I will be sure that every parent I know will take their business elsewhere. Please reconsider your rules and staff regulations for the safety of others. The tables were dirty as well. It appeared that there was no effort to clean the spilled drinks, half earen good, and chunks of hair off the seating area. It was pretty disgusting and unhealthy.

Can you even have a bad time playing mini golf and arcade games?? I dont think so. Arcade is super fun, stocked with games that actually pay out tickets. Laser tag is an absolute blast! I havent tried their food yet, but it looks good and I would probably have no complaints, as its hard to mess up a slice of pizza. My favorite thing to do here is win a TON of tickets, and then go to the prize counter, find a parent there with there kid whos picking out prizes, and give them ALL my tickets. The kid get ecstatic, and the parents gives a look of , "great, another 20 minutes picking out tootsie rolls." Beautiful.
