My husband and I had an awful experience on Saturday afternoon with the manager of this theater (Jamie). We were excited to see Sully and purchased 2 tickets, large popcorn and a large soda. We entered the small theater which seated about 30 people and really liked the feeling as it felt intimate. In the first 20 minutes of the film the sound went out 3 times. On all 3 occasions a patron of the theater went out to tell the staff. All 3 times the sound came back on after about 5-8 minutes. After the second time a few people left, after the 3rd time even more people left, and after the 4th time we left. When we went to ask Jamie for our money back he was not accommodating. He said no one else had complained (which is clearly not the case) and gave us our money back with attitude. When we asked for our money back for the popcorn and soda he said "what for the soda you already drank". I opened the top of the soda to show him only an inch was missing from the top and I tried to explain to him that due to the movie not working we would be going directly to dinner and would not be able to enjoy the refreshments. Who wants to pay $20 for popcorn and a soda if you can not enjoy it in the theater? I am very disappointed in the treatment received by Jamie and will not be going back which is a shame. I can not believe someone with such a rude attitude be a manager.....

This is the worst theater ever. It seems that the actual viewing presentation of the film is the last thing anyone cares about here. Who in the hell would want to go to an annoying bar or a loud restaurant to watch a movie? That is exactly what this theater is. Staff is nice sure but they foget to remind people that we are here to watch a movie not eat not drink not fuck around like its recess not bring loud food from home and not talk during the movie. They also like to keep all of the lights on during the movie to make sure you know what a tacky place you are still in and ensure whatever is on the screen is barley visible. So if you like to not see your movie the way movies have been seen since forever ago, in a darkend quiet theater, and sit in front of some cargo shorted mouth breather trying to take apart a half eaten bag of pastchio nuts while spilling a shitty 14 dollar beer all over the seat that they could have drank in the parking lot before the movie then this is the place to waste your money and your time. If you want people to experience the movies in the theater then keep it like a movie theater and stop trying to turn it into a playgroaund , a reataurant , a bar, or a damn living room. Also for anyone who wants to talk during the movie, dont! We will chat afterwards or you can just go watch it at home.

In general, I like this theater a lot, however they need to take control of their concession line. There is inconsistent policy. Sometimes there are numerous lines, sometimes there is a single self-forming line, often there is a mob. I have been "waved off" by a concession person twice because "theres a line over there". Well, no theres not. Theres an unformed mob, and several other people just walked right up and got served. Why cant I? Management needs to implement a queue. I tried to lodge this complaint via their web site and got no response, so Im trying to do it here in a more public forum. What do you say, management? Time for a queue? Then your theater would get 5 stars from me. Also, you need a dedicated (quick) line for refills. Youre charging an arm and a leg for large popcorn/drinks, I shouldnt have to stand in the line (or mill about confusedly in the mob) a second time to get a refill, which takes only 5 seconds since no money is changing hands.

I dont go to the movies that often, but always enjoy it. One reviewer complained that the cleanliness needed improvement, but I feel that if the customers didnt feel like it was okay to throw their unwanted food and drinks on the floor, it wouldnt be an issue. Another reviewer complained that the price of their food purchase wasnt refunded when the movie experience was not good and wanted to leave. On one level I can understand wanting to get your money back because the price of the food at a theater is unfortunately ridiculously high, but come on, you did get the food and so is life. Life is full of these little disappointments and things that are a little unfair.

Went to see Dunkirk and was almost blown out of my reclining seat with the new sound. I was pretty much deaf at the end of the movie. Snacks are really expensive and hate you have to reserve your seat. stupid idea, how does it benefit you ? Why is it necessary ? Just get to the theater on time for your movie and get your seat. Stupid idea. Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and was at the wall and could barely see the movie.

We love being able to walk to the theater and see a nice range of current movies. The theatre is clean, and the staff have been great, but I really wish they offered coffee and tea, instead of just sugary sodas and bottled water. Most theaters of this size do, and I was surprised the first time I went to this theater and couldnt get a hot drink on a cold, rainy evening. Id give it 5 stars if they offered hot drinks!

The recliner chairs are a great way to watch a movie. Lots of leg room and space for everyone (including tall people like myself who typically dont like long movies cause it feels cramped), but be prepared to reserve your seat ahead of time. Tip: If you show up to a sold out show, if no one (who qualifies) has purchased the handicapped seats, they will sell them 5 mins before the show.

They have D-box seats! Amazing for action movies! They are a smaller theater, which means its not as crowded and the staff always know what is going on ( they dont get lost in the sheer number of things happening or beaurocracy) and they take their rating system seriously. No crappy parents ruining the late night horror movie by bringing small children who just shouldnt be there.

A delightful place to enjoy a wide variety of cinema experiences. Main stream blockbusters as well as lesser known fine films offering some of the best acting, directing and writing you can find. Moving toward more custom seating with comfortable racing chairs with tables and electric controls. Reservations available with seat selection recommended.

I have seen many movies in the almost 3 years I have lived in Petaluma at the cinema west theater in downtown Petaluma, the staff is always friendly and very helpful. show prices are in the range every other theater has listed. The individual shows are always clean and well maintained. THE NEW SEATING ARRANGEMENT SUCKS, THE OWNER BLEW IT ON THIS ONE
