****** DONT COME TO AMC 426 RAMSEY WAY KENT WA **** STAFF DENIED ME ACCESS TO THEATRE. Probably racist and prejudiced staff. I wanted to watch Zoolander 2 movie. Started at 10:45PM. I arrived at 11:05 PM MONDAY FEB. 15th 2016. Cashier said the till is closed. she also said the movie theater is closed at 11 p.m. I told her I can still make it there probably in previews. She said no and laughed. I knocked on the glass door. The cashier laughed too and didnt do anything. Some very tall white bald male open the door and said were closed at 11 p.m. I told him Im here I want to watch the movie he said no. Very disrespectful I drove quite a distance to see the movie I missed the exit I had to come back and now hes telling me no because I arrived five minutes too late. *** its not my fault that they decided to count to 10 before the movie was over ***. they just wanted to deny service. Very disrespectful. I am a Hollywood investor. I am investing in the movie Noahs Ark the animated movie coming out in 2017. I have never been around a disrespectful movies that have such as the one at Kent Ramsay at 426 Ramsay Way in Kent Washington. **** DO NOT COME HERE ***.

Went to Star Wars thursday night. This would be 5 stars if not for the ads.... They were great to the hordes of us that waited hours. Obviously extra staff. Everyone nice, allowed us to bring in food and water and chairs, for our 3 hour wait (they had to go away before we were seated but still, really nice). But while in the theater they start the ads, now I dont mind the trailers, actually I like them but San Bernadino Probation office is hiring (In kent WA?), A distracted driving ad apparently made by local kids, hey Ok to watch once but it was a bit long and annoying, Drunk driving commercial (and I am very against drunk driving, lost several relatives). I dont think many of them fit with a family movie particularly so many times, fortunately we all read so it was mostly background noise, but sucked some of the fun out. And cant save seats after the previews start? I paid for the ticket unless you are selling it twice its our seat, you certainly are not giving us our money back.....

Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy in Imax 3D. The picture quality was great and so was the sound. The drink from the concession stand however, not so great in paying nearly 7 dollars for a large. Hell, for that price you may as well give me a foot long sub, chips and a large soda. This theater also had no ticket vendor on staff, meaning that after I purchased my ticket from the self service machine outside, nobody inside validated ticket sales or directed people to where their movie was being played. I noticed a group of more than 10 teens just casually walking in and watching the movie for free, without ever having to pay; and I paid for my own ticket. Its things like this that need to be fixed within an establishment like this. If there was a movie theater in Maple Valley Id gladly go to that over this location.

When I was working at the AMC in South center I was hearing good things about the one in Kent. So i asked for an transfer to the one in Kent and got fired a week later. didnt really understand why they let me go since I was their best cashier and received prizes. south center AMC was losing to the one in Kent and with my service in addition to Kent would of demolished the competition. hopefully the one in Kent will hire me. I love their theater so much and want to give my great guest service!

The movie stopped midway. Were sitting in front of a blank screen, with the movie only half over. While we appreciate the sensory sensitive showings of movies here, this is a bit too quiet. Were going to wait awhile to see if they get the movie back on, but were not optimistic. Epilogue: we gave up. They gave us passes to make up for it, but dont offer any more sensory sensitive showings of this movie. We are sad, and wondering how "Fantastic Beasts" ends.

Average, run-of-the-mill AMC location. Ive never had a bad experience, however, there were a few months that none of the ticket kiosks were in working order, so the box offixe line got a bit busy. Thankfully, thats been fixed. Otherwise, clean location and standard staff... although it would be nice if this location offered more than the typical popcorn/nacho/pretzel/soda/candy selection.

I wish this theater would do a better job with its ticket sales speed I dont know if they have an old system or if theres some other issue at just this location of AMC. It often takes them approximately 5 minutes with each and every customer. Are there AMC locations that you wait outside to pay for your tickets often have a covered area it is Washington state after all.

Went to watch the Conjuring. The theater has good sound and digital projection. But the immersion factor was lost when every 20 mins a loud train would pass by the theater and you could hear the loud horn and it took the immersive quality of the film away when you eventually realize its not part of the film score. Still a good theater just needs sound proofing.

WORST PLACE EVER. Im obviously over age to watch a R rated movie but the staff asked for an ID which I HAD. They didnt accept my ID because it was a clear photo of a passport. Im financially not able to get a drivers license and such so my only option was my passport. I aint gonna bring my physical passport to a movie theater. Dumbest policies, worst staffs.

Great theater to watch movies! The auditorium is properly clean and maintained. Sound quality is great. Over priced food and not much variety on the menu. If you go to the movies often I recommend becoming an AMC Stubs member. Whenever I do watch a movie I try to catch the showings before noon, tickets are only $5.76!

Clean facility, staff are nice. The bathrooms need more frequent cleans though. They offer coffee in the AM, albeit weak coffee. The location is nice if you want to eat before or after. Be aware they will not let you in with outside food or beverage. Sound and picture quality are average.

Very clean theater, and the IMAX rooms are the best because the have the super steep rows so, no matter who is sitting in front of you, there arent heads obstructing your view. Downside: you can always hear the trains passing by outside, so it kinda takes you away from the movie sometimes

Shaping up to be one of my favorite go to movie theater...if only they better explained when you can use the free movie vouchers...seems like theyre only good for old and about to go movies...and for someone that likes to watch movies when they come out, its almost useless to me.

Im not a fan of the new fancy frills being implemented throughout theaters such as reserved seating or reclining seats. Kent Station still remains "pure" in that aspect and is my go-to theater. Being located next to a train station can get distracting at times however.
