I felt embaraced before my kids after finding out that that tickets replacement they sold me couldnt be used. A month ago we were sold tickets wrongly for a movie that hadnt come out yet, I went to the service desk and the person was very nice "so I thought", refused to give my money back and convinced me to accept three replacement tickets in stead of my money back. He promised me that I could watch "any" 3D movies with my kids with those cards. At the moment I didnt suspect anything and trusted the desonest employee for this desonest company "Cinemark" with a good heart since we go watch movies al the time on that theater. So I went last night with my boys for movie night and I so embaraced when I gave my cards to pay for the tickets and the teller looked at me and told me that the cards were not good for that movie, it was a big line many people watching and I asked him why was that, he said I couldnt use gift cards for that movie, I said that I actually bought those with money and explained to him the situation, but he was so aggressive and cold. To avoid more embaracement I decided to pay for new tickets. This people are shameless and desonest. This was the last time I or any member of my family went to a cinemark theater. Its very said when we see business in our country being conducted in way similar to third world countys with complete disregards to honesty, integrity and human kind. Shame on you

Went to see the Hobbit Marathon here because this is the only place in Washington, as of this writing, that offers High Frame Rate on an IMAX screen. The visuals were impressive, there wasnt any of the awkward stretching near the edges of the screen that Ive seen in other IMAX theaters. And the movie looked very 3D, I usually dont notice anything in 3D except for the credits, but this was consistently 3D. My wife noted the same thing, and she has a lazy eye which usually precludes her from seeing anything in 3D. The seats werent very comfortable, which might be fine for a single movie, but for a marathon, my butt and knees started to hurt during the second movie. The marathon itself wasnt very well organized, we werent given any notice as to the lengths of the intermissions, (they were about 10 minutes), and they had two people manning the concessions and 150 customers in a single line wrapping all around the lobby. I ended up waiting in line for over a half hour to get a free popcorn refill and missed the beginning of the movie which actually containing important material. Not knowing the length of intermission and having this awful undermanning was frustrating. Also, they advertised some "deals" at the concessions, where they charged for refills on the large sized drinks and popcorn (Which normally offer for free). Overall, I was not impressed.

This review is for the NEW Cinemark Reserve in Lincoln Square South, not the other one in the North building. This theater is 21+. It features recliner seating, food and drink service, and a full bar. Food prices are reasonable. Drink prices were a little high. Ticket prices are lower than the other luxury theaters Ive been to. I didnt order food, just drinks, but the drinks were perfect. My cocktail was fresh off the bar, still with ice chips floating on top. Everybody else loved theirs. The menu had lots of tempting items, including full entrees nd appetizers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait staff was unobtrusive. You can summon them with just a push of a button on the chair. The bathrooms were very clean. They even had an all gender bathroom. The place has accessible ramps and seating. The theater experience itself was fantastic. Some theaters with wait staff over-light the theater, but this one was well designed and felt dark enough. Sound quality was great. It wasnt overly loud, and Im sensitive to loud. Keep in mind that the parking is not shared with the original Lincoln Square North building, so they cannot validate for each other. Parking was free after 8pm in the North building, but I dont know about the South building.

Decent theater, probably the best place in Bellevue if you want to see pretend-IMAX or like edgy art films not shown in other theaters. I say pretend-IMAX because although some of the screens are branded with the IMAX logo, they dont have the same size screens or presentation equipment to compete with full-blown IMAX screens such as those at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. The main advantages are the central location, the size (16 screens allows for more flexible showtimes), and the accompanying diversity of films that you can see here but not necessarily elsewhere on the Eastside. The value proposition is also declining as the cheaper screens at Crossroads and Factoria have installed much nicer seats - Lincoln still has the black, fold-down, non-reclining seats. At least the theaters are more aggressively tiered so the people in the back are much higher up; Factorias seats arent tiered as heavily, so tall people in the front could block your view. All in all, a solid theater with great location and film diversity, but you can get more bang for less buck elsewhere in Bellevue.

If the notions of "business class" and "movie theater" were to be combined into a single venue, youd probably end up with something like Cinemark Reserve Lincoln Square. I was able to get some soft-opening tickets and had a pleasant experience. The seats are spacious, leather, and can be reclined. Theres a definite sense of grouping to the seats, implying that couples are a target market segment. The food was surprisingly nice, dashing the usual expectations of a movie theater. The dishes I had were "Sriracha Chicken Bites" and a "Bistro Salad w/ Chicken". Liquor and wine are also available here. I stuck with water, but the dishes above would set you back $22, for scale. Much like private box seating at a game, in some regards, the movie may become secondary to the actual experience. Im curious enough to try it again though.

Lincoln Square is a nice theater with good consessions, but the patrons make this place really frustrating in the evenings. If you see a movie after 7:00PM youre lucky to be in a theater where nobody is talking or texting or looking at their phone. I asked the staff why this has become a problem as of late, and apparently they stopped doing check ins at later screenings and it really shows. If I care about seeing something, I avoid this theater like the plague. If I just want to see something that I dont care about, its ok to see it here. Regal Crossroads is a much better theater (and their seats recline) for a very similar price.

I have been going here for years so I might be a little biased, I do enjoy the experience of going to see movies at Lincoln Square Cinema. Parking down below is free in the evening. A dozen or so resaurants nothing walking distance to hangout at before or after your movie. The theaters are roomy with cushy seats that allow the arm rests to be lifted. Everything is dimly lit leading up to the movie. Ads start about half an hour before the movie start time. Depending on the time of day you can get a student discount. Worth checking out. The theater shows a lot of great new movies and old.

5th night going to Tuesday $ 6.00 discount day. Bathrooms at late night filthy, garbage cans overflowing with paper towels all over the floor nearby, no cleaning of theaters apparent, popcorn all over the floor and entry halls of even center court theaters. Popcorn all over the place in center court, no attempt to clean in apparently quite awhile. Not sure who is running the place at night but they wouldnt be working for my company seeing all this. Individual theater not cleaned from previous show for a new release movie.
