A decent meal for very fair price. Dont expect fresh veggies and a Mortons quality steak. Dont expect Caesars quality food at a local joint, if thats what you want, then deal with the strip and pay $50 clams. Its an old Vegas throw back place. The food is OK and the service a bit slow, but very friendly. Its an older crowd, and things are definitely laid back. The parking lot is patrolled, and safe. No tootsies, no trouble. The $1 Margarita and $1 Shrimp cocktail are also great (if they are still only a buck) and the bar tenders are all great and friendly. The old time rock bands are OK as well. The slots are reasonably inexpensive to play; Ive played a nickel machine in the corner a lot. This "joint" is a classic: every thing from the carpet, the employees, and the people in the place. How many casinos can you go into and see some old lady dragging along an oxygen tank to a slot machine, sit down, and light up a Lucky Strike no filter? Now THATS Old Vegas! VIVA!

DO NOT GO THERE TO DINE! I had unexpected Vip guests and took them there as I am 70 y.o. and used to enjoy great food, salad bar, and service. I no longer cook. WE had the most horrible THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER EVER. Instant mashed potatoes with tasteless gravy, sweet potatoes (two teaspoons) had a syrup of some concoction on it. Turkey was obviously just dropped in a pan and baked, no spices. The dressing had no sage or spices on it, just chopped up bread. Two tablespoons of canned cranberry relish was the best of the meal. My 9 y.o. grandson couldnt and wouldnt eat his burned up hamburger, fries were ok. He did love the trains that ran the tracks above our heads. Thanks for the $11.95 per person garbage, if you hire American cooks, who know the spices and cooking of our Americans traditional foods you may have a better business. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE. We look forward to eating anywhere else but here.

I go to Las Vegas 2-3 times a year, but Ive never been to the Skyline before. Im primarily a video poker player, and I read that their paytables are very good. I finally went this past January on a Thursday morning. It took about 45 minutes on the Boulder Highway bus to get there from Downtown (I never drive in Las Vegas). The place was pretty quiet, with probably 20 gamblers. I sat down at a nickel machine, and a drink girl came around even before I put $ in the machine. I liked the place already! Didnt do so well, but then I sat at the bar, and Katherine (middle aged woman, very friendly) took care of me. Turns out shes from Wisconsin (so am I), and we had a great discussion! The Heinekens were coming fast, as I was the only person playing at the bar for about an hour. I ended up losing about $60 altogether. I didnt eat there, but Ive also read about their restaurant being cheap and good. Maybe in July Ill visit again. Five stars!

This is one of my fave spots in town. We love the food, prices, and the service. We are here so much they know exactly where I want to sit when I walk in. I love the classic 60s Vegas feel, and they are about the only place that plays great music overhead (60s & 70s classic rock), its great. They have a wonderful breakfast special on weekdays, and they have been building on a hotel, looks nice. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience REAL Vegas, without all the massive 20year old crowds, and the $15 a shot strip tourist traps. Also EVERYTIME Im here, someone is ALWAYS winning $500, $250, or more! I havent been that lucky l, yet!

Tonight at the Skyline Casino my husband and I were treated extremely unfair. The shift manager Connie (a man) did not have all the correct facts together and did not want to hear what happened. Connie told my husband he did not care about looking at the video tape. My husband has a disability and a woman could have hurt him seriously. Because of this treatment we will never go back to “The Skyline Casino”, after several years of going there. I hope none of their other customers will ever have to go through what we did tonight.

I have stayed at the Skyline Hotel and Casino two times this month and had a very enjoyable stay. This hotel is only a few months old and very beautiful. Also received a AAA discount and they dont charge a resort fee. The rooms are beautiful and very clean with very large TV and coffee maker. The restaurant has good food and a prime rib dinner special for$8.99. The Casino is fun with slot machines and a bar and have live music on weekends. I highly recommend the Skyline Hotel.

The restaurant was surprisingly good. had the orange roughy. Ambiance was A+ . Great news, although not QUITE finished. Cant wait to see it. Winning is very possible here . Most BOULDER strips casinos have looser slots, this place is no exception. Friendly staff. Why not 5 star??? Because there is no players card or club. no free play , no bingo. There is a small dance floor, old timey feel.

Havent stayed there but the casino and remodel look amazing. The food is good but thats where it Ends the coustomer service and friendly ness of the staff really sucks the act like your making come to work and do there job smiles are few and far between they all need a lesson on how to give great coustomer service. Or the owner just needs to find a friendlier staff.

When you walk in, the smell of cigarette smoke is overwhelming. The ventilation system isnt close to being adequate let alone good. I would like to try the restaurant but cant abide by smelling smoke with every bite. The barbershop has good people in it and I have had a couple haircuts there but that is as long as my lungs can stand the second hand smoke.

Stayed for a Night. Could stay longer. I usually stay downtown in old Vegas but because of the MMA fight all places were booked. So rode around and came across this gem. Was freshly renovated, clean and very nice. Almost old school Vegas. Sure miss that. Anyways checked in, wonderful room. Very clean .Amazing bathroom. I would highly recommend staying here.

Used to have a awesome prime rib dinner for cheap and great customer service in their restaurant. Its still decent prime rib but its way more expensive and service sucks. For 3 people to eat it was $60+ when before it was around $40 at the most. $68 dollars plus tip for a waiter to act like hes annoyed the whole time. 2 stars because the prime rib alone.
