We came yesterday for Cirque Du Soleil show and show was beyond amazing and arena itself is fantastic, great set up; however, impression of arriving to the center was quiet disappointing. Parking on Arenas parking lot was $20 per car, even though we had tickets for a show, they were not validating them inside, so we decided to park across the street. When we walked back to arena, the main entrance was closed and we had to go all the way around the building on dark dirty street. And by dirty, I mean dirty. There was a lot of trash and several shopping carts overflown with homeless people stuff scattered all over the premises of arena. Does anyone oversee the premises? There were several international tourists in our group and they were quite surprised how Arena was meeting us with overpriced parking and very dirty facade. It seems that were not enough lights outside either. Oh and the cost of the small (regular) bottle of water was $5. $5? Really? There is certainly something to work on to attract more visitors, as if it would not be for a great show; I would never visit this center again. Something to learn from Las Vegas and how T-Mobile Arena meets its visitors and how spotless the place is from outside to inside. I really liked how the friendly personal at the Valley View arena was; but maybe it would be a great idea to get rid of Welk Resorts sales people in the foyer, who tried very hard to sign us up for their "deal packages". :) We enjoyed the show, but not the way Arena met us.

I went to Crab Catchers and this was the bad experience we had, Verses, amazing experience we had here. Thank you. (CrabCatchers) Looking at the menu online I figured buying the Groupon, probably add another $50 out the door wrong. just two of us and we shared the seafood platter for two, lobster king crab legs, and four tiger shrimp, upon our waiters suggestion. $125 of so then we ordered Calamari, which was overcooked and tough. Then a total of 2 x long island ice teas and 3 glasses of house cabernet. The tip is auto added because Im using Groupon, thought that a bit out of line. Im a good tipper, but I dont like being made to pay anything. Took off the $100 Groupon, Balance $175 so total $275. I forgot to add, every piece of shellfish was overcooked, the toughest lobster I have had in years. Last Week went to Valley View Casino, all you can eat Buffet including as much as you can eat lobster. Fresh steamed and melted in your mouth. Total for two on full price day with 4 cocktails $92 Total. Oh, right did not have a waiter, well food, I had a cocktail waiter, its way too much money. Only a few tables actually have an ocean view, so good luck on that. Needless to say, will not be going back, I do not gamble, but, for that heavenly Buffet I am coming, FYI mon - Thurs Only $20 Buffett all you can eat Lobster, Crab legs, and a million other delights.

Have to say that Im really impressed!! Came to Valley View Casino Center to attend Neil Diamond Concert. People who havent been here since the old days of the "Sports Arena" are in for a pleasant surprise. Venue was great for viewing concert...I sat in section 21A row 9 seats 6 and 7 with my girlfriend and we had great views!! Felt very much a part of the concert...it has a much more intimate feeling than I thought would be possible! Seats were comfortable (even roomy -- better than average theatre seats). Concessions were well staffed and offered a variety of food and drink. I had vodka and cranberry and it was $10...very reasonable! Got a monster bag of Carmel kettle corn and it was delicious!! I wasnt sure what to expect, but had an amazing time!! If you have an interest in seeing an act here, I think youll be pleasantly surprised. FYI - I listened to the suggestions that Valley View Center sent with my ticket -- I took an uber to he venue and was dropped off right in front of the venue. Ideal for someone who cant walk long distances..it might have been the distance of an average street block until I was in the building. Very pleased!! Look forward to other opportunities to attend concerts here!

I went to Bellator MMA 131 and saw Tito Ortiz Vs Stephan Bonnar. My experience there was epic. I have always been an MMA fight and I have got to say my experience at this event was AMAZING!! Not only was the event awesome but the overall atmosphere from getting into the venue was great. From picking up my tickets at Will Call I was greeted with a smile while I picked up my tickets. Getting through Security was a breeze as safety is #1 concern for all venues. I totally understand all the rules that were set in place because as the customer I wanted to feel safe and all security guards were very kind and fun to interact with. When inside Concessions were also a great experience as the employees there once again greeted me and with a smile which is not a norm among other venues that I have attended. All ushers were help in finding my seats for the event and overall the event was well put together. My first ever MMA experience was great and I thank Bellator and Valley View Casino Center for making my experience a fantastic one and I definitely will want to attend another event at this venue again. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

When you come to Valley View Casino Center, come early and reminisce about the days past. As you walk the concourse, besides the great food and drinks available, you will be amazed with pictures and descriptions of events that have happened here; James Brown, the Ali Norton Fight, Garth Brooks, Queen, and so many more. You can imagine what it was like, it has not changed much, yet it has changed a lot. New graphics on video screens, special viewing boxes, and special VIP at the Lounge. In between things like concerts of all types for all different age groups, the Gulls are back, with their winning hockey team that is part of the Anaheim Ducks. Pro skill at reachable prices. Indoor soccer with the Sockers, the infamous Ringling Bros and Barnum Circus and Disney on Ice. The events vary so each time you come, its a different experience. And the staff from the top down should be in Websters next to Customer Service- really friendly, really helpful, really sincere. Truly a good value and a memorable place each time I go. Five stars

I love country shows and had the chance to see two of my favorite country acts in the last week in a half at the Valley View Casino Center. First I saw Carrie Underwood who was playing in the round and was an incredible show from start to finish. I went to the Taphaus at the arena and had a couple of the 10 San Diego beers on tap at that bar. A piece of Pizza Port Pizza and then to watch Carrie play a great show. I asked about the Stella Lounge and guest services showed me area and I was impressed. And Last night I got to see the living legend Dolly at the same spot. What a great show and she sang all the hits. This time I went to the 10 Barrel bar and had one of the Pina beers which was delicious. Cant believe that this venue is almost 50 years old and so busy. I loved the Garth Brooks Wall wraps and will be back in the next month to watch some hockey.
