During the weekend of March 24th thru March 27, I took my wife on a mysterious birthday getaway.. My wife did not know where we were heading. All I told her was she need to take two days off from work, bring some clothes, and a swimsuit. (I had been doing some planning and wanted to do something different and unique for my wife birthday). 1795 Acorn Inn was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast (something we both had wanted to do) and we both loved it. The Inn is amazing. Rooms comfortable and the hot tub is an excellent addition. But thats not all, the inn keeper, Sheryl is a true gem.. She would go above and beyond.. Her attention to detail, engage in conversations, and made breakfast each day that was absolutely amazing. (I would be the early one up to get a cup of coffee early- True to my word as a night shift worker, I needed my coffee, lol) My wife did remark she truly enjoyed not knowing where she was going and going places in wine country, but truly loved this little bed and breakfast. If your willing to spend a little time and wanting to unwind for a weekend, this is a place go to by far. Way better than any hotel I have ever been too. Plus, your only a short drive to wineries and town.. Thank you Sheryl for helping make my wifes mystery birthday weekend a success! We will be back! Glen and Val

While sitting here and enjoying a sip of Herradura, we are reflecting on our past weekend at the Acorn Inn. This Inn is definitely a place to go to relax and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. We stayed in the beautiful Bristol Suite (the ballroom) which met our every expectation of a 5 star hotel. The hot tub, after a day of exploring the area was so relaxing and romantic! We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary so it was very fitting. Sheryl is such a great hostess. Her breakfasts are very creative and different every day. Sheryl has a wealth of knowledge of the area and can recommend many sites to visit. Such an intimate and beautiful Inn. Tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Stayed here for a quick honeymoon getaway and couldnt be happier. The inn keeper made us feel at home from the moment we walked in and tended to every need any guest had. The room was immaculate and breakfast in the morning was nothing short of amazing, fresh fruit bowl to start, creme brulee french toast with sausage patties and cranberry orange juice to finish. The location is quiet and right across the street from a great little place to snag lunch or dinner. We will be staying again.
