So I agreed to go see the StarTrek movie in 3D because it was no longer playing in 3d anywhere else. I went there excited to see a movie in a theater I havent been to. Ill be honest and simple. 7 people waiting to buy a ticket in line and one terribly slow cashier who could have cared less (15 minute process, missed previews). Bathroom dirty with hair and filth. The seats are leather and decent on the bottom but wouldnt lean back or move (be prepared to sit erect the whole time, in my case more then 2 hrs). Along with those ERECT seats there are tables (half moons) behind each seat that prevent you from folding your legs or stretching them forward (your knees bump). Can you imagine my brother who is 63 320lbs. They lower the lights on the wall but the exit signs and floor lights make it light enough to hardly see the movie(maybe if closer to it but ?) and also be a nice glare on the glasses themselves, from behind you. The most unbelievable thing about this place is that people believe its ok to take your little kids in to see a movie they have no understanding of! they then have them talking, crying and whining through the whole thing! what a crappy place all around! Oh and for this experience you can pay almost 12 dollars a ticket (only have discounts after 4) when tickets rocket more. WELL over priced. Who ever wrote good reviews for this place must not know the good places. Buyer beware. Its exactly what you expect out of a place in the middle of a mall. Go else where.

The phrase “If the Hangover and Superbad had a baby” shown in the trailer of the intensely hyped film Project X, was the main reason why I decided to see the movie. Having high hopes for the film, I was somewhat disappointed in the first thirty minutes of the film because it was not as exciting as the trailer looked on commercials. However, as the movie progressed it became more exciting and hilarious by the minute. I thought the balance of seriousness and out of control partying throughout the movie made the film appear a lot more realistic. If the movie just showed constant partying throughout the film I believe that it would become repetitive and subsequently boring, which it was not. I found myself laughing a lot during the film because most of the movie resembles the stereotypical American high school party, just on a larger scale. Besides being extremely hilarious, I believe the reason why Project X was the number one movie out that weekend is because most viewers could relate to a lot of the film. For the viewers that can not relate to such experiences, I think Project X did an excellent job portraying many teenagers’ wishes to go to a party like that. I recommend seeing Project X because I can honestly say that it is my favorite movie.-masmann17

I used to love going to AMC for movies. The last 3 times I was there it was nothing but cell phone and smart phone screens. People texting, playing games, & talking on their phones. Mayfair mall is going to end up like Capitol Court & Northridge if nothing is done about this soon .AMC has nice theater but its not worth the $11.75 to try to watch a 3D movie. Years ago if you disrupted a movie you were warned and then asked to leave. With the price of movies & refreshments you think they could hire ushers or security to stop this abuse.

This is a nice theater with some friendly employees. They keep it clean but could use some renovations. The seats are not too comfortable during long movies. IMAX theater in here is nice though. It is also the one theater in the nearby area that you can order tickets via Fandango online. Because of this its the theater I go to the most since Shopkick (which is also throughout this mall) lets you use their points towards Fandango giftcards. Great way to see a few movies to free over time.

There is not much to say concerning a movie theater - either they have the movie you want or they dont. There is a better chance that you will find your film here simply because they have 18 theaters. Most of the theaters have very nicely cushioned chairs. The theater is on the second floor of Mayfair Mall and can only be accessed from the Mall. There are two ticket devices at the entrance that permit you to print tickets purchased on line.

The only problem I have with the Mayfair theater is that whenever a movie will be enjoyed by elderly people the managers, for some reason, position this film at the very end, meaning the longest walk. There is a lot of distance between the entrance to the theater and the more interesting movies with depth. I have complained about this twice before, but it has not made a difference in their attitude toward this matter.

I came the day of the movie to buy advance tickets to a show. I called the night before and was told they opened at 9:30a. I came in at 1030a and they still werent open. I saw the manager walking around so I decided to call and NO ONE answered! I am very disappointed as this is the closest theater to my home but I guess Ill continue to go to the theater I am used to. Very disappointed!

I have been here a few times. The new bar looks nice. Staff are always friendly. The only downer here is that the counters and floors can be quite messy on occasion. I nearly wiped out getting to and from my seat during a showing of Dr. Strange because of something wet and slick on the floor. The chairs are comfortable and the place is otherwise well kept.

This theater is awful! Every time I am there, people are talking during a movie and they do nothing about it. I understand the type of people that live around wauwatosa but thats no excuse to be rude and not shut up during the movies. Mayfair Mall even had a riot when Barber Shop 2 opened there. Yeah I said BARBER SHOP 2. Worst theater ever.

Lots of screens. Good selection of movies. Limited food options. Friendly and helpful staff, albeit slow; lines are longer than they should be. One of the automatic ticket machines always seems to be broken; this is a persistent issue that I have seen over multiple years. This poses an issue for pre-ordering your ticket on busy nights.

Decent theater but sometimes the patrons can get out of hand depending on the time of day and day of the week. We usually try to stay away from going to shows on late Friday and Saturday nights. Concessions is usually a long wait since they never have all of the registers open, which can be annoying.

Weve had good experiences here. Long popcorn line sometimes, but nice overall. Weve seen many family movies, but havent had obnoxious noisy neighbors yet. I like the quick service ticket kiosks out front. Parking is usually pretty good around the back of the theater, too.

I like this location because its close and staff is friendly and polite here. Love coming here for the 5 dollar movies. We come here a couple times a month. Snacks and drinks end up costing more than what we pay to see the movie though.

Horrible App, doesnt allow for Apple Wallet support when buying from fandango, stubs perks is a joke and didnt take away fees like its supposed too, people are unfriendly and unhelpful. Im only ever going back to Marcus. WAY BETTER.
