Room was clean. Bed was pretty stiff and springy. My wife is 5 months pregnant and it made her a lot more sore than normal. There isnt a fan in the bathroom that you can turn on, where the toilet and shower are both located, enough said for someone to get the picture. I do appreciate the fridge in the room. There is some sort of sensor in the room so the air doesnt run when someone is not in there. That must save energy but for fifteen minutes or so the room can be uncomfortable. The free Internet might as well be dial-up (1 Mbps), so I just used the my phones data. Even the paid "High Speed" Internet is only 10 Mbps. Maybe their target age demographic doesnt care about this, but most people these days have smart phones and would appreciate decent wifi speeds. The casino was pretty smokey and was unpleasant for someone who doesnt smoke. The breakfast buffet was a great deal if you get their membership card. The food wasnt life changing, but for $6 it was worth it. I cant speak to the gambling. I do data analytics for a living so I see gambling as a waste of money, and Im not a statistician that games the system. My wife, toddler, and I just stayed while we did some fun outdoors activities on our way to our main destination. Oh and the pool was pretty chilly, and the people who got in didnt stay in long. Even my toddler, who rarely cares about cooler pools, didnt like to stay in it once she felt how cold it was. Ultimately it was a good deal, in the context that we got a deal on the room. Had I paid full retail I would expect things like decent courtesy Internet, and real high speed if I paid for high speed, or even just a memory foam topper or a little more plush mattress. Maybe thats all in the rooms they dont discount though. Id stay here again if we have to stay the night in Vegas and I can find the discount again.

This is regarding the slots only because I love the bingo there, the food is great in the restaurants and in the bowling alley, the movie theater is awesome and so is the staff, all very kind and patient people. Unfortunately, I am not able to come here to gamble because of an experience I had with my mom. For a location close to Sun City and Summerlin, the slot speeds are, on average, fast and seem more accommodating for a younger generation where we want this fast and instant and now, now, now gratification. Most of the machines dont offer a speed setting so the gaming experience blows by very quick and just in a blink, your money is gone. Id say at least buy me a drink first before I blow all of my gambling money and feel shafted but, like all casinos, drinks are free when you play so Suncoast has already done that. That is, if you can manage to keep (or win) enough money to still be around for the cocktail waitress to return. We are locals who gamble when we have money set aside for doing so and my mom likes to play Keno at a slow pace so that she can root for numbers and enjoy her time. When we asked for the Keno speed to be lowered, the employee opened the machine for us, went into the speed settings, and then we were told management was enforcing a rule that the speeds must remain on one level because of the inconsistencies of speed between all of the slots. Maybe that really is a management decision and okay, thats fine. However, its a decision that has now turned away one of their local players. The Station casinos have all been more than happy to lower the play speed and well be spending our money on those properties instead.

I cant enough positive things about the employees at the Suncoast. The casino is very clean and the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. The food is good. There is a movie theater but I havent been in years. Ive been to some of the performances held there....magicians, ventriloquists, comedians....all excellent. Ive never stayed in the hotel part because I live in Vegas but family friends have stayed there and have never said anything negative. But to me the thing that stands out most is the employees. Over several years many of them have become more like friends and a couple of them even like family. My mom had lung cancer. They knew us before we found out and they basically went through the journey with us, offering as much love and support to my mom as anyone can in such a situation. When she could no longer go out a couple of them took time to visit her. When she passed away they offered as much comfort and support to my dad and I as anyone can in such a situation. I realize this is a very personal situation and not everyone develops relationships like that with employees where they are customers at....especially with so many of the employees. I know it reflects partially on my family being very friendly but even so, its not like that anywhere else weve gone to regularly over the years. To me it speaks volumes about the employees who work there and are friendly, caring, compassionate people....and its reflected in the various positions they hold and they way they interact with the customers who come in. I know many locals go there regularly and I think that says a lot.

As a local, I didnt care for the fact that the keno machines play at a super high speed even when you have the speed set to one. I blew through $40 in less than 10 minutes. I play keno mainly for entertainment purposes, but $40 for 10 minutes is absurd. $40 usually lasts me at least 2 hours, thats with playing back the winnings along the way. Suncoast machines not only played through my money quickly because of the speed setting, but it also yielded no return whatsoever, aside from 4 credits here and 12 credits there. This was my first time coming to the Suncoast and it will also be my last. I dont necessarily care for greedy casinos with tight machines. I went back to a regular local spot that I frequent often, after leaving Suncoast and played 2.5 hours on $20 and left with the $60 I started the night with plus $101 in winnings. So much for spreading my business out. I have to stick with what benefits me. As for the casino itself, the employees are very friendly and customer service oriented. The facilities are very well maintained and the bathrooms are immaculate. If it wasnt for this I would have scored them 1 star, because as far as my delight level with the gambling/entertainment side of this establishment they deserve 0 stars, but everything wasnt bad so i chose to give credit for the good things and not just blast them for what I dont like

The Suncoast is a great place to stay. There is so much to do that you neednt be a gambler to go and have a wonderful time. The housekeeping does an amazing job and leaves no doubt that your room was taken care of. There are many restaurants and all had amazing food except the Blue Oyster(awful) and the Mexican food place(ok). But there are plenty of other places there to eat and you wont be disappointed There are activities to keep you busy from shows to Bingo, bowling, movies, swimming, to the casino. The staff is more than accommodating; always a smile and friendly face. Regardless of why your in this area: This is definitely a great place to stay. The only thing I might change is the hours of operation for the pool and sauna. 8 pm is to early to close. moving it back to 11 pm would be nice. The exercise room has a variety of equipment for any level of workouts. The room service if you need it is more than accommodating. And your food is actually hot when you get it! A very pleasant surprise! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are as well. Its a comfortable place to stay Thank you! Sincerely, Ed & Brenda Piel
