Here is a really fun Theatre that one time I thought was going to fold. Marcus took over this Theatre and has really changed it over in the last few years. Theyve totally revamped it inside and outside. Inside our new seats carpeting everything there is even a baby grand piano in the lobby. Self-serve drink station so you can put as much ice and your soda pop as you want. If you are a member of their frequent theater goers membership you can get a free refill on your drink. You also get a free small popcorn on Tuesdays with your moviegoer card. Tuesdays are great did it go Marcus Theaters chain. At the time of this writing, they have movies all day Tuesdays for $5. 3D movies rxtra. All the screens use digital projections. The sound quality is first-rate. They are offering seats that are large plush, and comfortable. Its like having a motorized Lazy Boy recliner in your living room that just happens to have a giant screen. Some of the theater screens are set up as dining options. They have servers bring you food and drinks right to your seat. You can order a beer wine or a mixed drink as well as soda pop. Typical bar type food. Plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, Pizza, and pretzels. Hot dogs are good. The hamburgers are actually very good. I like their Smashburger. I think theyre a little skimpy theyre serving of french fries, but Im a glutton. Marcus Theater chains have been first-rate and I really enjoy going to them. With the new parking lots you can actually get in and out without fear that your car is going to fall into a giant hole in the blacktop. Marcus has done a great job of revamping this theater and has brought new life into the area.

I have been going to this theater since it was 20 Grand since we moved into our house almost 20 years ago! I love how they were constantly renovating it to make it more modern throughout the years. They used to have a giant tv screen in the lobby over the concessions, and then when Harry Potter first came out they did "floating candles" throughout the lobby, later switched the candles for gold rings when LOTR came out too. They still do a fantastic job! I LOVE the new seats and cant stand going anywhere else now. Never have I seen any mice there in the 20 years Ive been going and I go to quite a few movies. I mean I was that person to see Finding Nemo 6 times in the theaters. Yeah. 6. Anyway. Anyone that complains about pricing of the food or drinks at a theater needs to realize....its a movie theater EVERYONE knows that you pay much higher prices at a theater. Youve clearly never gone to Walgreens and bought movie theater candy to sneak in with you. Everybody knows that. I mean in college my friends and I would even sneak wine coolers in our purses into a movie! Anyway. Great theater. Never had a problem with the staff. Joke around with them. I make weird comments. They laugh. Lifes too short to be serious. :)

This was our first experience in a theater with lounge seats, and I have to say I wish all theaters were like this one. I loved nobody being able to kick the back of my seat and the ability of people to walk down the wide aisles without forcing others to stand or move or scrunch up while having people knock into them. The chairs were incredibly comfortable and the experience great. I loved the ability to recline and it felt like watching a movie at home but on a huge screen with surround sound. The only complaint would be there are so many nooks and crannies on those seats that they probably miss when cleaning. I almost never go to theaters since it is now less expensive to just wait and buy a movie than it is for two people to go see one in theaters. Not only that, but many theaters have sticky floors, tiny seats, and people kicking your seat or walking over your lap. They also often rub elbows with you, not the case in this theater. These seats are huge. This theater definitely makes the movie going experience worth it for a date or outing.

Great place to go see a movie. Big comfy chairs and assigned seating along with the ability to buy tickets ahead of time online. But I knocked a star off because of the cost of food. Traditionally its a high priced affair but this theater is more expensive. That also goes for their Cocktails. Yes its primo and fun to get drinks but not at the price. I also knocked another star off because the last time I was here, it was a swampy summer day in the 90s and I love nothing better than going to a movie and enjoying A/C with my movie. It was nearly as hot and swampy in the theater as outside. And when youre sitting in the equivalent of a leather recliner you tent to stick to it in the heat. Whew! Didnt mean to rant, but I expected more from this theater and its prices. I will go there again and will update if my view changes.

High quality everything. Seating is roomy and exceptionally comfortable, plus it reclines and allows for plenty of legroom. Tuesdays are $5 movies and free popcorn for everyone with a rewards card. (which is free and has minimal soliciting!) Students also get the same deal on Thursdays with student ID. The bar gets all of my groups business because you can bring the drinks with you into the theater... how can you not give this place 5 stars? I think another great selling point is the reserved seating and the ability to buy your tickets in advance and pick them up at the kiosk in seconds. To anyone complaining about the cost... its a movie theater, what on earth did you expect?! A $5 movie ticket isnt good enough? If you dont like the prices go rent a RedBox and a bag of JiffyPop and stop your bellyaching. ;)

This theater has changed the way I go to movies...never again will I go to an "old-fashioned" theater with small uncomfortable seats...every seat in the house is a super comfy electric leather recliner...amazing!! And the bistro theater is even better!! Friendly wait staff bring you delicious treats at the touch of a button...no more missing part of the movie to go refill your drink!! They do it for you. They have an extensive menu and the prices are really pretty reasonable compared to other dining options. Plus everything is made fresh in their kitchen. Throw in $5 Tuesdays with free popcorn and you just cant beat it!! We even bring a blanket to snuggle under. Its a seriously upgraded way to go to the movies. Give it a try and I promise you will never want to go anywhere else!

From Sac City, Iowa we drove 2 1/2 hours with a 6 year old for Birthday Celebration and a 3 year old. Ordered our tickets online on Friday. Picked our seats. We were so excited. Spent the day at the zoo got to the theater before anyone else. Spent a lot of money in over priced popcorn. 2 familys had the same seat tickets we did. Dissipate the fact we had our conformation letter. One of us would have to go. With it being a sold out show someone had to give up tickets. So instead of making those 2 familys who had our seats spilt we were the bigger person and left. Manager could only offer me a 10:00pm show or a different day to come see the show. Very devastated children. She gave me back my $31 for my tickets but still felt like they could have made this right.
