Definitely not worth it ! When we arrived we were the only ones in the lobby when checking in. Yet it took 20 minutes to check us in when they were not even busy whatsoever. After waiting that long they gave us the key to only one room when we booked two so we had to wait again for them to fix that mistake. I was hoping to get some rest with my stay here because thats the whole point of getting a room and both nights we stayed here we were woken up by the workers and cleaners numerous times from 1am to 3am, they had no respect, or common courtesy at all and kept banging things, dragging stuff on the floor and slamming there carts against the walls and god knows what. On top of the horribly loud noise the hard rock employees made. There were people screaming, arguing, shouting out anything and everything they could say slamming doors every 5 mins, and so on. If I would of known I was going to get service at a place like this I would have just stayed home or might as well stay at a sleezy motel because at least at a crappy place you expect the crappy service. Ive been to many hotels, and resorts all over the place and have not once ever encountered this kind of behavior or horrible service. This location is a disgrace and makes the Hard Rock name, icon, and reputation go to shame its pathetic and a joke. On top of all that they had "djs" in the lobby playing rap, hip-hop, and techno. What kind of drugs are you guys smoking !!!! Its HARD ROCK HOTEL AND HARD ROCK CAFE NOT HIPHOP HOTEL, NOT RAP HOTEL, NOT TECHNO HOTEL !!! Thats a joke and making you guys look horrible ! Theres rock n roll memorabilia everywhere, all the way from guitars, lyrics, clothing and quotes from icons and gods of music and you guys just pretty much spit on all there graves and their faces by having a " DJ" there. Either play music on your stereo system or dont have any at all. You could of payed someone the same amount to play guitar in the lobby or because you guys make millions of dollars you could of had a band playing there. If your going to do something do it right, if not dont even bother because now you just ruined the hard rock name and reputation. Im sick to my stomach with disgust the fact that you guys made that decision and having horrible service. I dont sleep at home or get any peace you would figure if your going to a nice hotel thats a well known you would be able to relax, get peace and quietness, get sleep, and not get stressed out. I do not recommend anyone to go to this hotel unless you want to get disturbed, woken up, raised blood pressure and horrible service all for a few hundred bucks a night !

On check-in no ethernet cable for computer, told front desk, said someone would come up with one, nobody did. Eventually found a cable in a black felt pouch behind a sex kit for sale by Hard Rock placed in each room. Charged $270 per night, plus mandatory $17 per day for phone/internet access. Multi-media system advertised, TV didnt work, phone only worked on speaker phone. Hotel so noisy I was awakened at least four times by trains, hotel is directly next to railroad tracks. My employees said drunk people going up and down halls all night doors slamming. Hotel has no parking lot for customers, told only lot around is $19 per day and wont be able to get out if a baseball game is on. Our vendor parked in a lot a couple blocks away for $3 per day. Told hotel manager of deceptive practices. He said I was incorrect, lot was not $3 per day. Then with his security team in my room trying to fix TV and phone while I am on speakerphone with him, I tell him I am holding the $3 parking ticket. He tells me I am still wrong. Then says attendent must have made an error. Then I tell him it is an automated machine, check in on 15th out on 16th for $3. Then he changes story to we cant be reponsible for what other lots charge. Really? Then your staff should say they are $19. Valet didnt even want to let us unload if we werent going valet. Told staff TV didnt work in morning still not fixed at night. We said we were checking out a day early, were told we would have to pay anyway. I said I was told 24 hour advance notce and we could cancel, they said early checkout pays additional night. Manager Luke angered me so much we left at 10:30 PM, got back to LA 1 AM. My employee then drove home, fell asleep at wheel, hit curb on freeway, two flat tires, CHP response. Now I have to pay three nights for myself and two employees who stayed one fatigued night plus pay my employees car repairs. Fortunately my employee wasnt injured. Hotel customer relations manager Luke accused me of lying. Thinks I said we coldnt sleep just to get out of paying for third night. This is a hotel for loud drunk kids. I will never stay in another Hard Rock Hotel. BTW still have $3 parking ticket disputing all charged with American Express.

Im writing this the day after I stayed, june 18th. I rented the Silver Rock Star Suite to celebrate my 24th birthday, and because I mentioned it was my birthday Rob from concierge hooked me up with a bottle of champagne on ice and a bday card. Not only that but every part of service the whole time was EXCEPTIONAL. Pimp. Anyway, so it went like this: Valet takes my car, the bell hop takes my things. I go check in and the lady says "oh, Mr. Downing, youve rented a rock star suite, you get the VIP check in. Follow me, lets get you a drink." Um, sure! :) She takes me behind to a secret bar and while sitting down at the bar getting checked in the bar guy makes me a free vodka/redbull (that I could carry anywhere around the hotel) and we just chill and socialize. We take the elevator to the 9th floor and head to the room, which was AWSOME. As soon as we walk in music is playin, tv is playing a Hard Rock slideshow, I mean...it was never a boring moment! The bell hop explains how everything works inside from the Bose sound system to the curtains to how the mini bar has no sensors so you take things from it and go down to the corner store and refill the mini bar for half the price!! This guy was awsome! Forgot his name, but below his name tag it says "David Hasselhoff". The entire night I was still in awe about the view of the convention center, omni hotel, the ballpark, Float, Coronado...fan-freaking tastic. Hotel decorations were rockstar status, no joke. We got bottle service for two bottles at Float, which we arrived around 10:30. Service was excellent, all my friends who showed up later just had to say they were with me and they let them in. No confusion, no hickups, all smooth. And honestly, folks, thats all I remember from the night of my birthday. Preparty in the suite, bottle service, and then I woke up the next morning! I let my friends and camera tell me about how great the rest of the night was ;) Wanna party like a rock star from begining to end? Get a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel. Service was P-E-R-F-E-C-T
