I had a very bad experience at this location. We purchased our tickets, got in line to buy popcorn and drinks. While in line, the construction was quite obvious. We purchased our popcorn and drinks. The manager said to the server NOT to give us the popcorn as something was wrong with it, he dumped one container, and tried to give us the same popcorn in a different container. I stopped him and his boss told him to make sure he made new popcorn for us. I asked how long this would take...10 minutes!! That is WAY too long when you are going to a movie. I asked for our drink cups which we were provided, but were NOT told where to get drinks - we were vaguely told to go "over there" after a few minutes search, we were told to go to the OTHER SIDE of the theater. Still waiting for our popcorn, I was carrying a container of butter, I asked for a lid and was told to go to the other side of the theater - where the soda was. We wander off to find both soda and butter, and found the soda worked, but that there was NO butter or lids to the containers. We were told to walk BACK to where we started. Still without popcorn and now late for the start time of our movie, we managed to walk back again and got our popcorn and butter. This was crazy. There were no signs and frankly, I didnt want to wander all over the theater to find my condiments. Totally mismanaged. The manager offered to give us free passes so long as I found him after the movie. I did, he was flirting with a patron who finally mentioned that I was waiting for him. Such a bad experience. Dont go back until construction is done.

I have been visiting this movie theater since I moved to Minnesota, about seven years ago. I have visited other theaters but this is still one of my favorites. I like this theater because it is located inside the Eden Prairie mall and after watching a good movie you can go shopping. I also like it because it has plenty of rooms and they are always playing the latest movies. The rooms are always clean (inside and outside) and the sitting is great, you will always have a good view no matter where you are seated. The chairs are very comfortable and each room has a big screen. The sound and picture quality provided in each room is also exceptional. It seems like the employees work really hard to keep this theater clean, decorated, and organized at all times, they are also very friendly. The food stand provides a variety of food making your experience even more enjoyable. Even though ticket prices are a little expensive in the evening, I think it is still worth to go see a movie at this theater. You can always watch a movie for a more reasonable price in the morning and early evenings and will have the same quality.

Horrible experience! Just another company with nothing but electronic interfaces and no customer service. Drove 45 minutes with my 4 and 5 year old, purchased tickets from an electronic machine, walked up to the snack counter and waited for the group of teens behind the counter to stop messing around to take my order. Received half of it and had to ask another lady for the rest of it. Walked into the show to have no seats available. Waited for the person standing in front of another theater to get off their cell phone to ask what we need to do and waited for the manager to find out their machine automatically sold me tickets to a later show after it determined the show I selected was sold out and gave me no warning. Manager said it happens and stayed about 20 feet ahead of my boys and I while we walked to the front of the building. Once we had gotten to the front he said we can wait 2 hours with my 4 and 5 year old for the next show or get a refund. Suprised we were even offered one so we took the refund to never return again. Happy to say my 2 boys handled the situation better than I did.

I rarely write reviews. The exemplary service I received at the Eden Prairie AMC made me feel obligated to share my experience on the off chance a manager reads this and can reward the employees responsible. After a late night showing I left the theatre only to realize that I was missing my wallet. Despite the fact that it was past 1am and many of the employees were getting ready to leave, two young men agreed to help me find it. They walked back to the theatre and spent 5 minutes digging through the theatre chair, finding my wallet wedged in a small crevice I never would have found on my own. Afterwards, we offered them a tip, which they did not accept, saying it was "against policy." The level of integrity, class, and support these employees showed was well beyond what they are paid for, and I hope that it does not go unnoticed.

They are definitely tampering with their reviews, no way this place almost averages a 4. The theaters are in bad shape, often dirty, staff is not friendly. Seats are these recliner things which is fine but not necessary. Last movie I saw there there was a giant yellow glow over the center of the picture, if it was a dark scene you could not tell but most of the time 35% of the picture was stained yellow. It was like that during the ads, as soon as the trailers started and it was still there I left the theater and informed the manager hoping they would fix it. He seemed concerned but noting was done and by the time I left the theater it was near midnight and I wasnt going to hunt the guy down for a refund. I would have left and asked for tickets to a different movie but it was nearly the film showing.

Imax 3D in AMC Eden Prairie, MN... The theater was dirty/filthy. They make you buy assigned seats, ALL were stained with gum candy or dirt. Some seats even look liked a kid in diapers had wet through (really). Most of the cup holders had some kind of gummy food stuck in them. Even the seats arms were stained. I went and got the general manager (Quinn) and he took pictures and said he was sorry and would alert the cleaning crew, not even a hint of a refund or free tickets but really thats not the point. We spent $283.39 on 17 tickets and we expect a reasonable seat with reasonable cleaning and maintenance. We also had to make multiple trips to the ticket taking entrance to get new 3D glasses not scratched or greasy from popcorn oil.

This is the 2nd time Ive taken my mom here. She is hearing impaired and we were happy they had hearing aids and closed caption devices. Unfortunately both times the equipment did not work. Both times we had to leave the movie and walk all the way back to the front to try different equipment and both times the replacements didnt work either. So the choice was missing more of the movie or struggling to catch as much dialog as possible. For as much money as we spent to see a movie, it was terrible to not be able to fully enjoy the experience. We saw a late movie so there were no managers to take our complaint to as we left. The theater is very nice with the recliners and all, but the experience was disappointing.
