TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! My most recent visit was so bad that I will likely never go back. I took my son here with two of his buddies for his birthday. I bought two games for all of them and, during the first game, he complained his gun was not working. I pulled the trigger and it appeared to be putting out the light beam, so I figured he must just be missing the targets or getting shot first. The second game, he got the same gun and again complained that it wasnt working. This time, I tried shooting at specific targets and sure enough, it was not registering when hitting them. The guy working confirmed that it wasnt working as well. So, he traded out the gun. But, by this point, there was just a minute or two left in the game. I spoke to the manager afterward and all he offered was one free game for my son. I told him that the whole reason we were there was for my son to play with his friends and that one game didnt cut it, because then I still had to pay for two more games for his buddies to play. I asked that all three boys just be given the chance to play again. Seeemed like a reasonable request to me. But, the manager refused and offered no other compensation than a ticket for one free game. Pretty crappy considering my son had a bad gun for TWO games and it ruined the fun for him and his two buddies. We eneded up leaving before spending $30 on tokens (like we were planning) and we will not go back. Poor management cost them a lot more than it would have cost them to let the three boys play one more time.

The place is great except for customer service. The manager whos name is: Martin. He had a lot of attitude and was obviously tired from a long day. Nevertheless it doesnt give him the right to treat customers the way he did. I bring a group of 40 young people, he is upset at the moment we walk in... of course its more work! All I have to say if the general manager or owner is reading this, PLEASE do NOT put him to work at the front desk! Anyways, when I was playing the battery of my laser gun dies completely (this happened 4 times during the same game). I went afterwards to tell him what happened and how my time got wasted by going down an having to replace my gun, etc. He calls the guy to confirm, the guy confirms it was true. Then he looks at me and says with attitude: "So what do you want?" I said i wanted to inform you of the problem. Then he says: "Ok got it" Then proceeds to explain that because its a busy night, that happens. Its not supposed to happen. Thats why im paying to play a full game... He didnt say sorry on behalf the company, he didnt say let me give you another game for this one were you couldnt play the full time... nothing. I talked to the other manager and he was way nicer... at least he apologized on behalf of the company. I wont go back again and even less take a group until Martin is put in another position where he is not handling the customer service.

I am 23 and I remembered going here and having a good time here when I was younger. I had gotten a "buy one get one free" coupon from a student hand book and I thought it was a good time to try it again. When I arrived the place was very crowded and and all of the machines had a long line to play on. But that wasnt too bad, I figure, it just means business is good. So I got in line to purchase a blazer tag game, after waiting in line for about 20 min, one of the 3 staff standing behind the counter, doing nothing, decided to open a second register. I said I would like to use my coupon, at which point they said they decided that instead of honoring the coupon as buy one get one free; management changed it is buy one get one 30% off. I found this a little frustrating, but I decided, oh well, I guess I dont mind spending a little more than I was expecting, so I asked to purchase a game for myself and a friend. They then responded that, while it is not mentioned anywhere on the coupon, it was intended that the coupon can only be used on one person, So I can buy 2 games for myself with the second one being discounted, and my friend has to purchase separately. At this point I was frustrated and left.

My friends son was celebrating his 8th birthday and I went in thinking to myself "goodbye Saturday afternoon." As an adult in his mid-30s, this was surprisingly a blast. There is a staff party coordinator (I forgot her name) but she did a great job keeping all the kids together and on schedule. The arena was a lot bigger than I thought. Theres plenty of space to run and hide that it felt like real life Halo. I did terrible and still had fun. I would make a good field fodder. The kids were into it and the birthday party was a success. The food they served was pizza. It wasnt anything that is great but what do you expect? Gourmet, garlic infused pizza? It was edible. I have no complaints. Its for the kids anyway. Turns out, it was a lot of fun. I also learned that Blazer Tag Adventure Center is family owned and operated. Who wouldnt want to support that? Bonus: They have a pretty active arcade. So rare to see something like that in Austin outside of Pinballz. If youre not up to running around and chasing kids with a laser gun, then this is a good place to have a nice, family outing.

So I will start with the positive first.. This was well organized and the coordinator for the party was good.... But........................... The facility was not so good. I had some kids in the party (as they are only 6 and 7) that found fire ants in the room that we were put in. They were coming in from the corners of the room and along the baseboards. They did offer to move my party but we were already set up and just having back surgery did not want to do more work than possible. IT was just gross seeing ants in the room moving along the baseboards and always having the feeling they were crawling up on you. Second, we were put in a small room and many of the parents had to flow out to the hallway.. The hallway that was right next to the womens restroom.... many of the parents stated that they felt uncomfortable (mostly the guys) being so close to the womens bathroom and blocking the pathway. Really wasnt worth the price to be honest. I felt I overpaid for the facility for sure. Would not recommend for a kids party.

Blazer Tag has the biggest laser tag arena Ive ever played in. With several floors and corners to hide in, this arena is guaranteed to give you and your friends a fun time. Im no expert at laser tag as I always end up getting annihilated by the kids. But this doesnt stop my excitement from attempting to shoot the laser gun at the other teams. One laser tag game equals 20 minutes of fast walking, crouching, crawling, shooting people, and using matrix-like moves to dodge away from others. After one game, my legs, back, and shoulders were sore which may be a sign for me to get back in shape. If youre not up for laser tag, they also have a wide variety of familiar arcade games. You can play the games, earn tickets, and choose prizes from the prize counter. Advice: Take advantage of their Friday/Saturday night laser tag special: $6.75/game after 10:00pm. Be sure to check out their other daily discounts too!
