So I was able to take advantage of a T mobile Tuesdays movie deal, right!!! I mistakenly picked Columbia thru the Atom app verses white marsh. Columbia is my least favorite place in the STATE OF MD because Ive had too many racial and prejudice experiences over the years. Went to see transformers which was excellent but right from the being dude at ticket stand goes to scan my phone for my ticket and a old Caucasian couple is walking out the theatre talking between themselves like a husband and wife step in the in front of me as I am asking the ticket scanner dude two questions wheres the ladies room and which direction is Theatre #1 instead of him acknowledging me & letting the couple know, "she was here first" he entertains them. Welp!!! Since he wouldnt stand up for what was right I stepped back in front of them waved my hand in his face to let him know I AM NOT INVISIBLE. And informed him look she is RUDE now where is the ladies room and my theatre. He answered my questions I said thanks and walked away. those are the type of little annoyances I cant deal with. second nobody came in theatre to clean it up after the previous showing prior to mines. the words during the previews where off peoples lips moving words are delayed. I report in NOTHING is done. another dude comes in and he reports it and Wallah its done!!!! I will never ever go to this theatre again. Only because of my mistake did I have to endure this theatre. Dont waste your money. seats arent that clean either. just go to Regal theatre UA Snowden Square 14 much nicer out Columbia & leather seating

The features I dont like are -Theyve added those queue controls at the concession stand. You know with stanchion poles and retractable belts. There are several mazy feet of these things between you and the concession stand counter. Its worse than an obstacle course. Ive stopped using the concession stand as a result. -Theyve discontinued my favorite concession snack: "The Cameo" consisting of a very small popcorn bag and soda. Another reason to avoid the concession stand. -They think that supersizing my junk food is a reward. -They ask you to join their rewards club at the most inconvenient times. -Bathrooms could be better cleaned and stocked. . The things I like best are -a good selection of films and times -occasional retro movies and theater performances -stadium seating -reasonable prices -your seat is NOT assigned so if some jerk starts talking or tweeting, at least you can get up and move to a quieter location. -they have an excellent policy forbidding the use of cell phones during movies, and the policy also discourages talking, etc. during the movie.

This has to be one of my personal favorite theaters. They keep it clean and even updated the soda machines so that the people have control themselves to mix and match their drinks. Most theaters seats are outdated and ragged but they have kept up with maintenance. The screens are large and clear. Sound quality is great. The staff is very helpful and considerate. Example I had gotten food from the cheesecake factory and was not allowed to drag it in the theater so they put it in the office til my movie was done. Another time I went I had to leave early bc I was called in to work, they kindly gave me a free movie pass for my troubles. So all in all this is a great establishment!

I believe the area is Nice its not the best this is why. Its next to a mall and the lines arent to long unless theres a popular movie that just came out. Also I think its dirty which is understandable because Its a very populated place with a lot of apartments but I do believe they can hire more janitors to clean up more often because in my past experiences I have only seen a couple and sometimes when I get there its messy but no janitors to be found. I really recommend this place if you dont mind popcorn everywhere

One ticket seller with a line of 10 customers outside, out of the 4 self serve kiosks 2 were working, ticket taker was half asleep and mumbled something as we checked in, theatre was packed so we decided to leave but employee said the movie already started (2 min ago) so no refunds, said this while mumbling and speaking way too fast to understand, finally gave us two passes, all employees at this place lost their passion for their jobs long long ago

If I could give this theatre ZERO stars I would. Unfortunately there has to be at least on to review.... The staff here is he staff I have ever has the displeasure of experiencing at an AMC. Miami and NYC have friendlier staff and thats saying something. If given the choice or you have another option go somewhere else. You will be wasting money to get poorly treated. Not worth how expensive watching movies is.

While the theater looks nice from the outside, it quickly became evident that the theater had not been cleaned between screenings. The first seats we selected had nacho cheese on the armrest and the second set looked wet. Finally we settled on a set of seats where we ended up brushing off popcorn. With a plethora of theater choices in the area, I would be hesitant to attend a movie here again.

Just left this theater. Movie was fine BUT they have a Ladies Room of about 25 stalls and NO TOILET TISSUE! Every stall had space for two rolls and NO TOILET TISSUE!! I asked the ticket taker "Brandon" to speak to the manager, he told me she was "too busy counting money and couldnt be disturbed". Well manager, if this is how you treat your female patrons you wont be counting money too much longer......

The manager tries hard to work out any issues the moviegoers might have. The lady at the indoor ticket booth is very kind and Ive had no issues with any of the staff. there have been a few snafus over the years, but I have probably seen over 50 movies here and overall its a reasonable experience. i suggest going to the first showing of the day for very reasonable ticket prices.

Had to come back to the front three times.I was put in an empty theater then in a wrong movie then found out there wasnt a non 3 D version till nine and I bought a ticket for such at six. They usually dont make any mistakes when I go but this little adventure bummed me out. I didnt even get to see my movie that day and I had been looking forward to it all day. :(

While, in general, this theater is nice because of its convenient location and its management, the womens bathroom has been disgusting every.single.time I have visited since we moved to Columbia in 2012. The toilets are self-flushing but dont, theres always toilet paper over the floor, but none in the stalls, and water all over the sinks. I dont understand.

This is my usual theater and the staff is always very friendly, but their assistive listening devices are not always functioning and the employees dont seem to know anything about how they work or how to fix them. I brought this to their attention and they seemed very willing to work with me to make these devices more accessible and reliable.

Good theater. Morning prices are significantly cheaper. So are Tuesdays. Join the rewards program, its free, and you get free money. App is trash tho, two out of three times Ive bought tickets online it ended up going wrong. Unless the movie is very new, you dont need to order in advance, just buy the tickets there.
