Im not exactly sure how this theater gets 4 stars but it was nothing of the sort for me. I normally avoid regal because Ive never liked it much and prefer AMC. I only went to this location due to the discounted ticket through an app I had and it unfortunately only worked for regal. When I pulled up to the theater I was already weary of what I was in for. It looked a little run down from the outside but I just figured it was an old theater. I walked in and was greeted by a young lady at the counter on 5/2/17 at about 5PM. She scanned my phone for the ticket info and said quote "all set, theaters down there". I didnt get any stub, (which every theater gives) I didnt know what number theater I was going to and I also didnt receive my 3D glasses. I had to come back for those after we got to the theater door and I realized we didnt have them. When I got back to my seat after getting the glasses, Id realized the two sets of glasses we were given had a darker lenses on the right and it made it difficult to see the screen. I then returned the glasses and was told I was the first with that issue. I was more confused then anything cause Ive been to at least ten 3D movies in my life and have never seen this but things happen. The next pair of glasses worked and things were great from then on. After the movie my friend and I were leaving and that same young lady was at the concession stand with two other men who worked the consession stand. There was nobody at the front desk and it appeared she was complaining about something cause she was spouting off about this and that. I didnt take the time to listen in detail because it wasnt important. What was important was the lack of professionalism. The theater quality was okay but the customer service left a little to be desired. She seemed friendly on the outside but I specialize in guest services/guest retention and can smell fake from a mile away. Wonder Woman was great and I suggest going to see it the Dartmouth Mall AMC where they have new seats or the Showcase at Providence Place.

First off ... there was not a lite up sign to show you were the theater is. Its off towards the side and back in a plaza. Parking lot sucks to ho in and out of in the dark. Thearter was old . Broken seats. Kids were cleaning it though. Staff was pleasant but to much for movie tickets in a old broken down theater, 12.50$ the movie started off with previews, but only audio nothing on the screen. We had to ho tell staff there was no visual picture. They didnt know smh. The sound was good , when the movie did come on and we could see the picture it was clear and loud. No staff around when we left. I went here because i got movie tickets on groupon and its the closet regal cinema near me in ri. This was in Swansea, near the mall. Over all it was ok. The movie IT was pretty good and if the dam kids behind us would have stopped talking like they were at recess in school it wouldnt have been so bad. I dont eat movie theater snacks but bf did and it was wicked expensive. Two star rating.

So I decided to give these theaters a try even though Ive never heard anything great about this place and everything Ive heard is true.You walk in and the floor is sticky from soda and theirs trash everywhere, and when I went to pull the seat down to sit the cushion fell off of the chair! Overall though these theaters could be worse and if your looking for some place local to watch a movie these theaters do the job enough but if you can i would recommend you go to ANY other theater.

Not horrible, not fantastic. Im spoiled now with AMC close to where I live, so I really missed the huge recliners.... and AIR CONDITIONING! I dont know if theres was broken or what, but I brought a blanket because Im used to, and enjoy, the theaters to be chilly. I was sweating my ass off through the entire movie. Everything else about the theater seemed just fine though, staff was pleasant, popcorn smelled delicious, everything was clean

I dont know why there are so many complaints about this theater. I go to the theater all the time and I have only had one problem with the sound not playing, but they fixed it well before the movie played. While I do wish the prices were a bit lower, the popcorn is the best in the area. All in all, I have never heard any complaints from the many customers I have spoken to.

These theaters are a mess. Garbage everywhere, soda making the floors sticky. The bathrooms smell better then the theaters. There is not enough employees to keep up with cleaning. Dont waste your money coming here I have to give it a 1 star because Its required to write a comment but I would give it a -5 this place sucks

regal cinemas in taunton have recliner seating-can we expect the same in swansea?also,re concessions prices-this is where the cinemas earn their upkeep-not from ticket prices(which benefit the distributors/studios)-why do you think a request is needed NOT to bring your extras to the cinema?

A smidge hard to find. I had to do a Uturn. And the outside could use some fresh paint. But I wish all public restrooms were as nice. I only went for the crunchroll anime movie night. So thank you for participating!!!

This is my favorite movie theatre. Other then Imax this movie theatre I find is the best around good sound system, clean, well kept. I dont allow my family to go to any other.

Its not a reclining seat theater but the place is nice, its clean, the kids running the snack counter are sweet and the movie is played nice and loud.

Movies always start late and the projectors are never centered properly cutting off some of the image. It is clean and well kept.

The viewing experience is fine. The staff are not that friendly. They reheat popcorn from large plastic bags. That bugged me.

Great staff, the movies are pricey but the movies are pricey everywhere. This theater is 2 minutes from my house I love it

Only negative is that they only had two registers open at the concession the say after Christmas, making for a long wait.

I enjoyed the emoji movie,my grandson picks out the movies .Plus the staff is great in Regal Cinemas Swansea.
