Ive always had good experiences at this theater, but it is unfortunately knocked down a star for me. The most common reason I drive out of my way to go to this theater is for IMAX movies. This is one of the few screens in the area that was designed specifically to be an IMAX theater (rather than converting an existing screen into an IMAX), and has always offered a great viewing experience. Up until recently, this was one of the few theaters in the region that still offered true 70mm IMAX projection as well. Ive gone out of my way to see every Christopher Nolan film since The Dark Knight here, even when I was employed at a rival chain where I would have gotten free admission. It was worth the full IMAX ticket price for admission. I just saw Dunkirk here and it was a huge letdown to see that they have converted the theater to being IMAX Digital only. Digital has a very different feel and the switch was plainly obvious from the moment it started, with the highly aliased text. The switch to digital also changed the experience. With 70mm IMAX you would enter the theater without the annoying introductory commercials... the theater would be quiet and all the eager viewers could talk chat and share the excitement for the feature until showtime, when the lights would dim and the feature would start right on time. No preshow commercials, no 20 minutes of trailers.... just a pure and premium viewing experience. The preshow experience has ruined the unique feel and premium experience. The seating in the IMAX theater is very comfortable, but it suffers in comparison to competing theaters due to the fixed armrests. Almost every other theater I visit in the area allows you to raise the armrests when attending as a couple for a roomier and more intimate viewing experience. The armrests here are big, blocky, and intrusive when you are trying to share the experience.

Theres something with the reward cards issued at this location. I was not able to sign up online using the ID# on back of card. I procrastinated on resolving the issue for years until one day i thought of it while in theater. So i raised the question to customer service desk, you wont believe what the lady said to my face. She said the card belongs to someone else and not sure how i got to it, as if she knew this was the case for a fact and took me as a movie reward points thief. What she said insulted me so much i almost flipped out but decided it wasnt worth my energy. Week later, i got a new reward card at the theater, this time i registered in a matter of days, and turned out, i wasnt able to register this card either as it was erroring out when i tried to link it to my newly created acct. By then i gave up. This is the IMAX monopoly in the area and im a big fan of movies on big screens, i just wish there could be at least one other true IMAX choice for us in the area so i dont have to spend hundreds at this place every year and be treated as a points thief.

If you havent taken in a movie in for a few months, youll be nicely surprised by the full reclining seats at Regal Cinemas. All seats are now reserved. There are 2 options: you can purchase tickets online and choose which seats you want in advance or you can wait until you arrive at the Theater to pay and choose your seats. This can get a little difficult co-ordinating seats if you meet friends for a movie and they arrive late and youve already purchased tickets for yourselves and gone in to the Theater. Your friends may or may not be able to sit next to you. Take advantage of the Regal Club, its great and we are always pleasantly surprised by either a free small popcorn or drink. If you dont want to take advantage of the freebie on that visit, they can always save it for another. P.S. They are currently re-modeling the other side of the Theater which should be completed by Summer, 2017. We also asked about the fence around the south side of the parking lot and were told they are building luxury apartment rentals.

Hi, I ordered 3 tickets for the movie Arrival for 9;40pm. When we arrived we were told we will be moving to a different theatre. That was just fine. We were reassigned seats k6,k7,k8. As I sat down a few minutes passed and 6 people came and said we were in their seat. I talked to Alyssa k. The manager. She told me to take k8. Then a couple arrived and said I was in their seat!We ordered our tickets at 3pm today. We went to the mangaer again, where they offered us the front row. This was ridiculous. I wanted to sit in the seats I ordered, then moved and shuffled around 3 times!? The movie was then sold out and I had. No where to sit. The management at this theatre is horrible. They offered us at 10:40pm show. Why were we being penalized when we ordered our tickets at 3pm? We only got our money back for the tickets. Alyssa never escorted us to our seat or stopped other people from coming in and perhaps offering them another time. Stay away from this place!!!!

They upgraded to reclining chairs so yay! But the chairs dont nearly recline as much as other theaters, felt like I was in a glorified airline seat. The beverage bar policies are ridiculous. Never does a person actually man it and a bar server has to be called over from the office in order serve beverages. After ordering two drinks for myself and my buddy, they tell me that its a one beverage per person policy. SERIOUSLY?? One drink? So I order my friends drink head back into the theater to deliver it. Then return to order mine (making me miss 20 minutes of the movie). No other movie theater (AMC, Emagine, Marcus) has that policy. Thanks for making me miss a bulk of the movie that I paid for! I refuse to return and will frequent competitor theaters instead.

Imax previews WAY too loud!! One of two managers was rude, unpersonable. I would otherwise say Im satisfied with Regal Lincolnshire but we recently saw Spiderman 2 and Godzilla there in Imax 3D and both times previews were ridiculously loud. I had to go to the manager both times because my 9 year old son and every kid around us were covering their ears. Just ridiculously, uncomfortably loud. One manager was very helpful, said something technical about being set at -5 vs 0, either way he fixed it. Second manager both times was very unhelpful, said thats just the Imax experience, talked with an employee in front of me about unhappiness with scheduling. Made me wait while he did so. Then did nothing to help. Not cool.

After arriving at the theater, it was a ten minute wait to buy tickets. The theater had two staff members selling tickets, and they were moving very slowly. After making it to the theater, people started to comment that it was cold in the theater. For the entire 2 and a half hour movie, my group had to wear our coats. I complained about the low temperature to the customer service manager, and he made a sarcastic comment that the theater "was trying to create a full movie experience" for the customers. He did not even offer to fix the problem. Avoid this theater if you like being comfortable.
