When you have a kids party at a place you expect to get good service. Not, half the service. Dont spend your money here for a kids party. First, they had the party room on the opposite side of the movie which was on the other side of the building. Then, the lady didnt even want to write down the order for the drinks. I had to ask her how was she going to remember it all. She said its all up here. Really!! Next, when we went to the other side of the building for the movie there was one paper to reserve a whole row. I told her theyre people sitting there and she asked them to move. But that was the nothing compared to her saying she was going to get a sign to block off the rest of the seats. It didnt happen. After I paid almost $20 (no joke, it was $18 for 3D Jungle Book movie) for one person, I had to call the manager because the girl disappeared and then there were people siting in our row. When the manager asked the guy and his family to move the guy was cursing infront of all the kids and his kids too. WTF! Im just warning the next person to take their chances else where. Watch a movie there and go have a party somewhere else.

Their customer service was so terrible last night its actually comical. First, the cashier tried to rip me off and denied it, then when the supervisor came to help me, he lost his temper. He started cursing at me, told me he was "dumbfounded" by my frustration, that I was being disrespectful, that he was old enough to be my father, etc. Im 22 and he was talking to me like I was 14. The cashier swiped my card and told me it was declined, swiped it again said it went through. I checked my transactions on my phone and he did in fact charge me twice but got defensive and insisted he only charged me once, and then started saying to the other customers that he only charged me once. I said to the supervisor "I can show you the transactions on my phone," and he responded "I dont need to see your F&@#%$G transactions Im going to help you!" Ill admit I was getting edgy but I think I had every reason to be at this point. Ive worked in customer service for years and I have never once gone out of my way to make a customer look like an idiot or lose my temper on one.

It seem there is a policy that allows babies into 10:00am movie showings. At a recent "Alien" showing, a couple were allowed to bring in their infant, and carriage, into the theater for a very "adult" film (low parent skills???). In this age of security concerns how does a carriage get in?? Of course heated remarks were exchanged between the father and other patrons when the baby began to fuss, as babies do. The very young manger told me of the 10am viewing policy when I went to alert someone of authority to the potential issue in the theater. Nothing was done and fortunately the mother took the baby out of the theater before a real situation exploded. Suggestion: review your admission policy!

As far as movie theaters go, this is one of the better ones. Its much cleaner than most of the other AMCs that Ive been to. If you go during an off-peak time there is no issue with long lines or finding seats. However, being that it is in the mall its very hard to find parking nearby on the weekends so youll probably end up having to walk through the mall. It does get very packed on weekend evenings so I try to avoid those times. There have been times when Ive showed up to a movie and there are no two seats near each other. During those situations, the customer service was very accommodating and swapped my tickets for a later time which was nice.

Parking can be a bit difficult. Once you get inside there are quite a few theaters, and some of them are nice. They have one theater with large leather cushioned seats and a special sound system. They also have 3D theaters. The food selection is typical... and the food is looks ok. Sometimes the floors need to be cleaned up a little more (when we go to a late movie they can be messy from the day). Same for the bathrooms. Staff is generally friendly. They always run a TON of movies so we can find something to see. Matinees are great because they are discounted. Weekends (especially Saturday) can be too crowded.

Very nice facility but the staff is clueless and the clientele is awful. For a 10:00 pm movie where we bought tickets online and had seats assigned, we still had to wait in line to enter while a clueless employee told people the wrong lines to wait in. After finally being let in, had to wait while several entitled families decided to shove their way in bypassing the line for glasses. The theater itself is very clean and nice, especially imax. Tickets are pricey, but in line with elsewhere in the area. Just be prepared for idiots laughing at inappropriate times and clapping for some reason in the middle of movies.

I was in the AMC theatre on Saturday for the 8:20 showing of Beauty and the Beast. The show was great however, the theatre was a mess. We walked in and there was food and wrappers all over the carpet. No was was in sight cleaning or attempting to clean. This was at 8:15 pm...the show ended at 11:00 pm and the place was a bigger mess, I went to the restroom, 25% of the stalls were out of use and rest had no toilet paper and the floor was filthy. For a theatre in a high end mall, I was very disgusted. to top it off on our way out, there were four workers horsing around.. What was that about?

Ive been here to see a lot, I mean a ton of movies. Thanks to the Palisades Imax getting moved to a different section in the mall, the GSP IMAX is the biggest IMAX in the tri-state area that I know about. Overall, this is a good theater. Its in the mall so theres that. It has a huge mural of movie stars that greets you and then theres the all star of the theater. The ticket handling expert, KUNIUO! Friendliest Japanese fellow youll ever meet. Youll usually catch him on the weekends folding origami. If you ask nicely he will give you one.

Disclaimer: I love IMAX. One of the movie theaters that I live near has an IMAX, and so does one of the movie theaters not far from where I was going to school. I always paid the extra $5 for the IMAX versions of the movies that were showing in these two theaters, and it was worth it. Then, I saw Inception in IMAX at this theater, and I realized that I was lucky. I have been going to see two of the "classic" IMAX screens. This is not one of them. The screen is tiny by comparison and not at all worth the extra money.

This place is VERY unorganized. Especially when popular movies come out. Why the hell do we have to wait in a holdout line if we have Dolby seats? Theyre RESERVED. I came here for the Logan movie showing at 11:10pm. They didnt check our tickets until 11:10pm. In the Premier concession line majority of the people didnt have Premier cards and was moving slower than the regular line. WHY? Because no one is delegating or organizing. It is almost 11:30pm and Im still not out of the line. It BARELY MOVED!
