Id already been to Hollywood Blvd in Woodridge and Id have to say that Hollywood Palms was much of the same quality but more spacious, and of course newer. The service was great-- Id gotten there a little late with my girlfriend (pretty sure we just missed previews and a bit of the beginning) and soon after we sat down, some one was there to take our order. When we were finding seats, I saw many people were already finishing up with their meals, so they must have been served rather early and quickly. After we ordered, Im pretty sure our food only took about 5 minutes to be prepared and delivered to us. Someone complained about the seats being uncomfortable in another review. Well personally Ive never noticed anything bad about the seats at either of the Hollywood locations so I guess its just a matter of preference. Also someone mentioned that servers may sometimes ask you things (drinks, order, etc.) during the movie, causing you to miss a funny part or something. This did happen to me when paying for our food, but how can the servers serve quickly and effectively if they have to wait every time theres a "good part" on screen? I feel like you wont have much trouble with this if you know what youre getting into; I mean it should be expected to happen sometimes when youre at a dinner-movie like this. Comes with the territory. But so the movie tickets are less expensive then other theaters Ive been to, and personally I think its an easy way to treat a girl or anyone out to something a little more fancy-ish (where you wont have to worry about clusters of 14yr olds talking in the row behind you) without having to spend all that much more than you would have for dinner and a movie, and then having more free time later to just spend time alone together. ^_^ I say that you can always tell how nice a place REALLY is by their bathroom. Well it was a nice and clean bathroom, new and fancy-ish, which smelled a little but its a bathroom so you shouldnt be surprised. I feel like that describes Hollywood Palms fairly well. Minus the smelling. ;)

EXTREMELY disappointed. I drive from Plano to come to this place. Not anymore. My Husband, Cousin, Mom, Aunt, Uncle and I came to your theater for dinner and a movie on Sunday April 9th. All of our food was delivered but my mothers. She had to press her call button THREE TIMES and remind the staff her food was still not delivered. The third time our server seemed shocked and as if this was a new issue. We were all finished eating and the dishes were already being cleaned up. Finally her meal arrived. We all decided to just leave it be and let it go. Maybe they were training new staff or something because there were hardly any people in the room. My cousin and I went back Saturday April 29th. Her food was served and our shared appetizer was served. My food didnt get delivered. I waited about 30 min before hitting the call button, you know, just in case they had to go to the store for hamburger meat for my burger. Cousin finished her food. I saw our server attending to the row in front of us so I waived at her and she came to my table and I let her know that I was still waiting for my food. 20-25 min. later I hit the call button to cancel my order because I was furious. The movie was almost over and my dinner still hadnt arrived. Of course, my burger is being delivered by someone else coming in from the left as my server is coming in from the right. Sorry not sorry. I sent it back. We pay money to come enjoy your facilities and you cant even get food to your customers. TWICE! With all of the staff and LITTLE visitors during the movie, and I have to ask for my food. Only rating this 1 star because the chairs are comfy and the building is fun to look at and the food is good WHEN you actually get it.

They had the worst customer service I have ever experienced! We called ahead of time asking Patrick if we could use our groupon for catching fire and reserve tickets since we would be driving an hour and half to get to this theater, he reassured us that by purchasing tickets online it would reserve our seats and when we came in there would be refunded and we could use our groupon. We go in and try using our groupon only to be denied because its opening night. When we told the hostesses we had called before hand and Patrick reassured us we could use them she said he doesnt have the authority to reassure since hes not a manager, so then we talked to the manager Jason whom we explained how since and employee reassured us that we could it would be good costumer service to let us watch the movie that we paid and drove an hour and half to see. Not only did he refuse but was incredibly rude and was threatening to not refund or tickets and threatened to kick us out. As an HR director of a fortune 500 company I can assure you none if these employees were trained properly what soever and if these were employees in my company they would be under review.

Hollywood Palms Cinema is overall wonderful and fun for the whole family. The place is full of surprises, you walk into a jungle type room with a ticket booth and bar. The wall are decorated with old movie signs and autographed photos of celebrities whom have visited. The bathrooms are labeled "Mother" and "Norman" and are decorated with photos from scenes from Psycho. Each theater is decorated differently from The Wizard of Oz to Cartoons each room is more enjoyable than the last. I always anticipate what room Ill be in a new one or one of my favorites. The wait staff is friendly. Every time Ive gone all have been friendly and helpful, they work hard walking in the dark and serving so many people, make sure to give them a big tip. The food is absolutely delectable,my favorite is "The Arnold Schwarzenburger" (each food has a Hollywood themed name). The office swivel seats are comfortable and you can always see with the stadium seating, even if a GIANT sits in front of you. Hollywood Palms is a unique place to catch a flick and a bite,or maybe see a star.

I have been coming to Hollywood Palms since they opened (I live down the street)and before then, I would make the drive to Hollywood Blvd. Since the new management, the place has gone down hill. The renovations to the theatre are nice with the new recliners, but the new lack of table space is inconvenient when you are sharing something like popcorn or a pitcher of margaritas with the person you are with. Also, there is also nowhere to put a coat and purse. There are no free re-fills on drinks, but to compensate this, they give you a HUGE glass filled mostly with ice. Some of the menu items are now made differently. I used to order a chicken sandwich that had mayo on it. When it came I told the waiter that the mayo was missing and she said that it didnt come on it anymore and she could bring me some. When we got the bill I saw that there was a charge for the mayo. Thursdays used to be a good day to go the Palms because they had $5 martinis, but they have done away with that. I think that I will be making the drive back to Lemont to go to Hollywood blvd.
