I like this AMC theater and see my movies here about 95 percent on the time. I have no complaints about anything except something which is really not the fault of the theater, and that is my occasionally rude fellow patrons. Despite all the friendly reminders up on the screen before the films start, people still insist on using their electronic devices during the movie. Those little lighted screens here and there ruin it for the rest of us because it kills the atmosphere. And even though parents are legally allowed to bring underage children into movies that are highly inappropriate for them, when you do that the kids cry and whine and run up and down the aisles in the theater. That is a real joy killer. Parents, do not bring your little children (under age 8) into PG-13 action/adventure or dramatic movies if they cannot sit still. Even some PG movies should not have little children in them. This especially irks me if it is not even a morning or matinee showing. My husband and I were watching the "Star Wars" movie at AMC 16 recently (the 6:00 pm show) and a family with four LITTLE children attended. Not one was older than 7. They laughed and talked among themselves constantly during the movie. Then they got up and ran up and down the aisles. They ran in and out of the theater doors in the back of the room and let light into the dark theater. It was constant noise and running during at least half of the film, and the clueless parents did NOTHING to stop them or discipline them. That irked me far more than the behavior of the children. In my humble opinion, that evening "Star Wars" movie was not appropriate for children ages about 3 to 7, which is what these kids were. Did I do anything about it? No. That would have meant getting up and going outside to the counter and asking to see the management, which would have meant I missed part of the movie. The theater ought to have usher checks in the individual viewing theaters every once in a while. Did I speak to the parents? No. And neither did any of the other patrons in the room. I think we all figured that parents who would let their children do that would cause trouble if we said anything. They looked like rough adults. So nobody did anything except turn around in their seats and glare at them and say "Shhhh", but that didnt do any good. I hope AMC management figures out a way to deal with this. Fortunately, there were no little children present during the recent showing of "13 Hours" that I attended.

I had a terrible time with this theater recently. My friend and I went in to see the movie Daddys Home. We sat through the 15-20 minutes of commercials and then watched the first 15 minutes of the movie and was thoroughly unimpressed. My friend and I left the screening room and went to the front reception to try to get a re-admit pass seeing as we had not even stayed for half the movie. We were told by the cashier that the manager would not give us the pass. Unsatisfied, my friend and I talked to the manager who only very reluctantly gave in to our demands for something that was not unreasonable. The managers rational was that the theater merely provided a product and was not responsible for the quality of the product and as such does not compensate a bad movie under any circumstances. Meanwhile, even McDonalds will try to make their customers happy. This location needs to work on their customer relations badly.

Great local theater to take the family to. Several screens, spacious lobby, and new releases at family affordable prices; especially matinees. Its not as high tech or glitzy as some newer cinemas, but ticket prices wont break the bank here either. Concession prices on the other hand are up there. Would be a good idea not to come hungry or youll spend more on snacks than tickets. Staff is friendly, if a little unenthusiastic about working here. Cleanliness of the theaters is hit or miss - must depend on how busy they are. As a side note, getting the AMC phone app and a Stubs account allows you to skip the box office line completely. Theres a small kiosk inside behind the ticket office that will print your pre-bought tickets and save you from standing in line.

This is more of a rant about N Ft Myers the AMC just happens to be mentioned. Pity this AMC is in such a Ghetto Neighborhood but then again the whole of N Ft Myers is Ghetto. The Strip Mall is a disgrace why oh why doesnt N Ft Myers try to upscale the area instead of letting more and more 5 and dime stores open and make N Ft Myers look even more Ghetto. AMC needs to modernize this Theater; deep clean the seats and do something with the sound systems. LOUD does not mean better quality. I never buy food in the AMC so no comment and I never go on the weekends, night time, or Holidays anymore, way to many arrogant people on their damn phones TURN THEM OFF YOU MORONS kids running around unattended and traffic. So make your own minds up.

Really like this theater. It has an old time theater feel to it. The screens are big in most of the theaters, and the seats are comfortable, plenty of foot room for tall folks. The down side is they reduced the entrance ticket prices (which is great for folks who dont normally buy the popcorn) but their concession stand prices are way high! And no thats not a surprise to answer the poster below and yes I did apply myself in High School. But compared to other theaters, the snacks are over priced. Wish they would have kept the regular pricing and offered military/senior discounts (which we were able to take advantage of) like other theaters, and kept the concession prices reasonable! Love the staff!! Friendly and courteous all the time.

This cinema is semi-outdated, but the staff are wonderful, and I havent found morning/afternoon prices like this, ever; this kind of makes for the old fashion-y vibe (unless you like that sort of thing). Ironically, the drink machines are the best around. I try to make it here every Friday, to see at least one or two movies that Ive been itching to see - even if Im alone :) The place can get rather crowded and the seats are the old fashioned ones with armrests that dont move so if youre a bigger person, you might feel a bit cramped. If you wait a week or two after release for the movie you want to see, youll have the place to yourself, almost. As a Dad with nearly not much time for myself, this place has easily become a lifesaver.

I cant believe someone would demand their money back because they didnt like the movie??? WHAT IS WRONG with people?? THEY chose the film...THEY didnt like it...THEY wanted their money back?? WRONG on so many levels...HOW RUDE, spoiled, entitled, etc...IF I were the manager I would have REFUSED AND thought GREAT...do not come back! WHO needs customers like that! THIS is a great theater with very reasonable prices. You always take a chance choosing a film...whether you will like it or not. It would NEVER have crossed my mind to ask for my money back if I didnt like the film! UNBELIEVABLE! And the reviewer gave a 1 star??? After the manager gave them a pass??? WOW! IGNORE that review people PLEASE!!!
