The theater is good but one can enjoy this experience at home. First time going and doing so for my anniversary with my better half. Granted the pricing is over priced for some menu items however, it was made up with alcoholic drinks they provide, lol. They begin servicing you before the movie begins so you can eat and enjoy the movie. If at any time you need a waiter or waitress they have a red button you can press to call one to you. Food was not original movie food. It mostly resembles gourmet food and was very delicious. It is difficult at times to try to figure out how to eat with low lighting. This will remind you where you are. We had greatly enjoyed the dessert we ordered as well. It was a Belgium waffle ice cream desert with candy bacon, chocolate syrup and such. So although, the experience of watching a movie and dining at this theater is positive with great gourmet food menu items, the same experience can be done at home with a much lower price tag. Dinner for two with desserts comes out approx $50. Otherwise for those that would like to try it, you wont lose here at this theater. :-)

The worst theater. I have been there now twice. First of all the drink area is extremely dirty every time. Its like the workers give up cleaning it. I dont blame them however its disgusting. Secondly they are much more pricey then the theater in the artegnon mall and those seats recline. When I say pricey I mean tickets and food. For a large popcorn soda and nuggets I spent 27 dollars. And no free refills unless you enroll in rewards program which is free. However no employee ever tells you that, you have to ask. Thirdly there customer base is all tourists who are bored. So what does that mean for people actually trying to watch movies? NON STOP TALKING. It is so bad I told customer service they did nothing. I highly recommend other theaters.

This is a great place to see a movie with their comfortable leather chairs that recline slightly. They also have large screens. The theaters are all well kept and clean. Also, if you are interested in drinking during your movie they also have a bar serving up beer and mix drinks. Its also a great place to include as part of a date because of the restaurants at City Walk (although they are pricey) and because of the area to walk around or sit and talk after the movie. There is sometimes a parking fee, but if you came after 6pm the fee is lower. Also, they offer free parking for Florida residents sometimes. Id check the City Walk website before coming over to see if you can find any of that information or maybe even call the theater.

Rip off central. $20 & $30 to park. We picked the theatre with the better time to go before school let out. Didnt realize it was at City Walk. Also says IMAX. Every IMAX we have been to is 3D. Yeah not 3D either.... Has the smallest IMAX screen an IMAX theatre can have. Which is slightly larger than a regular screen (Googled to make sure it even was an IMAX screen). Can guarantee this place knows how to rip people off. Not impressed at all. Thought it was a little strange you dont get to pick your seat locations when you purchase your ticket. Should have known then it wasnt a real IMAX experience. If you dont live here and have resident free parking, dont even bother.

My experience with the movie theater on CityWalk was TERRIBLE. We received HORRIBLE customer service, not once but TWICE, both times resulting in leaving the theater. The staff was very rude, the manager was very unhelpful and also very rude and defensive when approached very politely with a simple question. Love Universal theme parks but will ABSOLUTELY NOT be returning to the movie theater. I will be taking any future movie endeavors to Disney Springs where the staff is friendly, approachable, and reasonable. I would recommend anyone wanting to see a movie to do the same. The trip is WELL worth it, especially considering their brand new, state of the art theater.

Great if you are a tourist and ALREADY at Universal, bad for locals. I went to the wrong location thinking it was the AMC theater I bought tickets on using the AMC app only to realize it was a Regal, so off to Universal Studios. The parking hit me halfway up the drive - $20. OUCH. And the theater does NOT validate parking. Almost every other theater on the planet in a paid-parking environment offers validation... and i stupidly went to Valet thinking wed just do that, but no.. valet is a 2 hour cut off for $20, and 2 hours and 1 minute is now $40. NEVER EVER again. tourists - have at it. The theater is nice. Locals - go somewhere else.

Ive only ever had a good time at this theater. While the theater itself needs a bit of updating (it looks like it got stuck in the late 90s/early 2000s with its decor), the building is always relatively clean and not usually that busy since most vacationing families dont want to stop in to see a movie during their stay. The seats in each theater Ive been in have been very plush, new, and comfortable which makes movie-watching that much more enjoyable. This theater also has an IMAX screen which is one of the original, full-sized IMAX screens. No "MiniMAX" screens here, so if you pay for an IMAX ticket, youll get the full experience.

This theater is in dire need of a remodel..I mean its at Universal City Walk one of the most heavily trafficked areas in Florida heck the country. This theater should have the latest and greatest technology but is far from it. Picture quality is lacking, seen a few movies there where it seems sound only come from one side, uncomfortable chairs, and the place is very dark and dingy inside. Not to mention regularly there arent even ticket sellers in the booth outside have to use the kiosks which seem to work about half the time. Much prefer the AMC at Disney Springs. Come on AMC lets see a City Walk remodel!

Worst Movie theatre in the Orlando area. 1. You have to park a long way away, 2.They charge $20 to park and they do not validate or rebate at the theatre. (They DO rebate parking at the California location.) Everything else is standard movie save yourself $20 and go to a Regal or any other movie theatre but stay away from this one!!!!!!! Last AMC Theatre I will go to. (PS You also get to go thru Universals security screening area with all the park guests so leave yourself an extra 10-15 for that if your stupid enough to patronize this crappy establishment. )
