My wife and I had our wedding at Highland Manor on February 26, 2016, and wow… I cannot honestly say enough positive things about this venue and staff. We fell in love with the venue immediately; both the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful and had an incredible amount of charm. After we booked the venue for the wedding, we then began to love the staff at Highland Manor. The entire staff is very courteous, cares about all your small details, and communication is extremely fast. Bonny was our day-of coordinator and she was out of the world, amazing to us throughout the whole process. When it finally came to our wedding day, we were even more impressed with the food, service, and staff of the Highland Manor. All of our guests (especially those who have been to many weddings) would not stop talking about how our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to and went on and on about the venue and the food. Best of all, the bridal party has a butler before the ceremony that will get you whatever you need, including drinks. Our butler was Giam, who was incredible. He made sure my wife and I ALWAYS had a fresh, cold drink in our hands the ENTIRE night. We have never seen service like that. I would highly recommend looking into Highland Manor for your venue. They are first and foremost a catering company, so you know the food is going to be top notch. Everything else is just a bonus, and big bonuses at that. My wife and I were able to make this venue truly ours for our special day, so do not think for a second this is a generic wedding venue. Brian & Joanna Hendrick

Our wedding was stressful due to our coordinator being changed a month before my wedding date. On my wedding day, my new coordinator literally asked if there was a room he could lock my mom in after she requested he redo some of the poor looking displays of decor. When I got the first look at the reception area, all the tables were backwards so that our families were sitting furthest away from us. The staff had to rearrange everything in front of us at the last second. My wedding coordinator also argued with my mom over a refund from the bar in front of everyone at the reception, after my former wedding coordinator had agreed to refund any leftover funds. Someone broke a glass vase and the venue did not clean up the glass enough, so my flower girl ended up with a glass shard in her foot. To top it off, we had an unruly guest we requested he cut off from the bar. The guest was continued to be served hard liquor, so I requested them to force the guest to leave. The coordinator did nothing to manage that guest and to get us feeling more at ease. All night my stomach was in knots, and I did not enjoy my wedding due to their poor coordination and event execution. I cringe at any memories of my wedding.

Just had my wedding last night, 5/22/15 and the service was beyond AMAZING!!!! The venue was perfect, and so gorgeous! I cant thank the team & staff at Highland Manor enough, they were on top of everything, organized, and made sure my husband and I were taken care of. A special thanks to Corey, Andrew, and Emily! Andrew made sure I was fed, had my favorite drink in hands and constantly checked on us to make sure we were happy at all times. Corey, my coordinator was also fantastic, and had so much patience with my last minute adjustments, crazy requests, and constant emails back and forth to make sure everything worked out well. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for any wedding, celebration, party. The team at Dubstread surpassed my expectations, and made it a night to remember! THANK YOU ALL AGAIN WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AND A FANTASTIC TIME! We also received compliments from guests on the venue and staff +10 rating from us!

My staff just had our after Christmas party at Highland Manor and it was the best party we have had yet! The venue looked amazing for us that night and the food was phenomenal! I even took several to go boxes home as I didnt want to waste any food. Bonny worked with us on our schedule and food choices and set everything up for us. She was so sweet and super attentive to what we needed that night! I definitely would recommend having your wedding or event at Highland Manor as you will be glad you did and have so many awesome memories to look back on! Thanks again to everyone at Highland Manor that made our party the best one yet!!

We had high hopes for the "re-opening" of Highland Manor, but on Valentines Day we were very disappointed. We had hoped for a more fine dinning experience (understood that they were going to cloth table cloths,and an upscale menu), and were left wanting. The salad "bar" was limited, breakfast offering we OK with a made to order grill, the "lunch" hot food offering was good tasting, but was also limited to fish, chicken and carved ham - however nothing was labeled so that you knew what to expect. Im afraid that this is a "three strike and your out" restaurant.

My fiancé and I toured the Highland Manor to see if we want to have our wedding here. Bonny was our tour guide and one of the locations wedding coordinator. She was amazing! She gave us great information and was super friendly. The location itself is very gorgeous and very affordable. Definitely the best wedding venue we have toured so far!

The staff spent more time on cell phones than serving. All it took was one stroll through any hall to see several. Wedding planner was rushed, stressed, and unprofessional. Avoid for your special day, the service will make it worse rather than better. If you dont mind that, it does have great outdoor photo ops.

Went her last night for the annual event "Taste of Apopka". All of the house is very nice with amazing landscape all around. They even have a few surrounding houses. I heard they do an awesome Sunday brunch. Im looking forward to trying that in the future.

Very cool place . Part of the build is historic to the city of Apopka (first doctor house) is part of the main building.Great place for a wedding, party or any occasion. The property and building dose need a little tlc, definitely taking the family back.

We celebrated my moms 90th birthday last May and my sisters 70th birthday yesterday. The food was horrible and the service was worse! If my family ever wants to meet there again... I wont come. It was a dreadful waste of time and money.

Great wedding venue. Kind of wish it wasnt looking at the road though. Kind of an ugly background. The grounds and house itself were beautiful and immaculate. The same people own Dubbs Dread. Great staff all around as well!

The Sunday brunchs food isnt brilliant but the fact that it has got unlimited fizzy wine, bloody Marys, and mimosas make it such a good deal. Also the scenery around is rather relaxing! The service is great!
