On Saturday, April 8th around 11pm, we were treated poorly from the moment we stepped out of our uber at the drop off point. The worker Abigail, had it out for us from the beginning. She rudely stated that we could not be dropped off where the uber parked, which was out of my control. There was two other of my friends with me that rode in the uber with me. It was my girlfriend, my friend Kyle and I. When Kyle stepped outside the uber vehicle he opened a bud light can and took one sip off it before Abigail told him to dispose of it. Which he did immediately and without any problems. After which she proceeded to say that Kyle would most likely be unable to pass security if he was too intoxicated. However, Kyle was standing, talking and communicating without any sign of alcohol problems. So, we head up to security to because he didnt show any problems only to be stopped by security. Now, Im one for safety and communication. So I patiently sit and wait for the security staff to get their side of the situation. We then start talking to Manager Rick, who has the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He claimed Kyle was too intoxicated and would not allow him to enter. (Now we all drove from Tampa to be here, we even rented a Disney resort room because we really wanted stay in town and visit it whenever we wanted for the weekend. It was one of our close friends 21st Birthday, and she was celebrating at city walk. So we wanted to meet up with her and just have a good time.) Now, Rick was unwilling to hear our point of view. His tone of voice was annoyed and rude. When I asked how can you tell that hes intoxicated when hes standing perfectly fine, hes not slurring his words, and he was cooperating to what ever was said. Rick simply stated "I dont have to tell you that". After being denied simple answers and basic cooperation, we asked for his supervisor. He said "I am the manger and I dont have to give that". He refused, would not tell us that name of his supervisor. As a manger, youre supposed to bridge the gap between the customers and your employer/employees. A manger is supposed to defuse the situation and show understanding to the customer. He showed none of these characteristics. When we asked for a number to call he again said"I dont have to tell you that". After asking multiple times, he finally said to call customer service. The manager Rick, was so rude that he made my girlfriend cry. What kind of employee are you all staffing. I am calling Monday to talk to his supervisor and this will not be brushed off. Until this problem is resolved, I will never come back here, I will not recommend this place to any of my peers. I will gladly take my business elsewhere where my opinion is heard and listen too. This was supposed to be a happy memory for all of my friends and I, and now the staff has successfully ruined. Whenever I think of my friends birthday I will always be reminded of this horrible experience. (My girlfriend and I were not drinking at all that night just to clarify, so we were just dumbfounded by how we were being treated.)

Fantastic place to hang out at any time of the day. Plenty of dining options, drinking holes, movie theater and of course, theme parks. Parking is chargeable depending on where you choose to park. We parked at the garage which was $17/whole day, which allows you to exit and reenter within the day itself. Parking was a breeze in the morning, staff are well organized in getting cars into lots efficiently and quickly. They close up lanes once they are filled and boy do they fill up fast. Come later in the day and expect to park far from the main entrance to CityWalk. Their signages were big, clear and memorable. Makes navigating around a breeze and helps me to recall where i parked! Yellow King Kong 107! There is a security check before entering the main area. I had a glass bottle in my bag and was asked to have it thrown in the bin. They were nice about it, queue moves fast. Plenty of food options. If you have a big group, it is best to make reservations before making your way there. They have some fancy bars and clubs too. Wanted to check them out but we were looking too shabby and probably stinky after a whole day at Universal. Grabbing a cab/uber/lyft or shuttles is a breeze too. They have a designated area for pick up and drop off, making it very easy to get around, locate your drivers and buses. Disney Downtown was really confusing. The place is perceptually crowded throughout the day with bustling music and activities. If you are crowd-adverse or tourist-adverse, this may not be the place to be.

Took a gamble on this place knowing before hand of the reviews, and we should have took them seriously. First complaint, trays of leftover food on the walk way to our room which were not out front of a door they were far from a room door, so not sure why they were even there, and yes they were there awhile cause the salad plate that was there had wilted lettuce on it. Second complaint, past reviews had complaints of this places cleanliness, and yes they were right, not disgusting but could have been alot cleaner for the price. Third, we got talked into upgrading our room for 40 extra dollars for a pool and water park view lol yeah the water park was shut down and the view of rusty sections of this park was well worth the 40 extra dollars a night. Fourth, which I just noticed the last night we were there lol, instead of a fitted sheet on the bed, they had 2 sheets pieced together in place of a fitted sheet. Now, silly to complain about, but when your over $130 a night, a fitted sheet isnt to much to ask for. Fifth, they should have told us at check in that the water park was closed. We knew that this place was in transition from previous management, just a little heads up before we decided to upgrade would have been nice. Just a little from our stay, take it for what its worth. Until the upgrades for this hotel is complete, I would stay clear of it at least until the reviews start to climb, there are other hotels for this price or right there, and are of higher quality.

Loved my time here! Spent the day dining, drinking, and shopping while we waited out the rain. You should DEFINITELY stop by the NBC Sports Bar and peruse their extensive beer menu. Also, stop by The Cowfish and try their Eclectic cuisine, theres really something there for everybody!!! If youre into reggae style, Bob Marleys has a great open patio/dining area. If youre out late and feeling like good drinks and dance head over to The Groove! DJ Poproxx did his thing, regardless of the headcount. I even stopped by a pretty cool karaoke lounge, though they closed almost immediately after i arrived, what i can say is that the house was packed and the drinks were pouring right up until the end! Make sure to check your resort for any freebies they offer, like access into the late night entertainment venues. We stayed at a nearby resort, so our main transport between the two was a water taxi! Such a beautiful oasis tucked away inside this area, there were ducks and rabbits all along the path (theres a foot path that runs alongside the water taxi path). Make sure if you come here from the neighboring resorts that youre back by 2 am, or its a long walk back.... Provided youre capable of walking :-)
