I lost my Regal Crowns Club Member card, found it, & tried 2 use it for discounted concession stand candy drinks and big popcorn bucket. But for some reason (unknown 2 me at the time), I was reminded to reconnect w a new card then use it. I then asked the cashier if I can still get a discount or points added 2 my found card and he had trouble with using it when I recieved my total. He then asked two other cashier girls who then asked me if I reported it lost. I remembered right away that I did so I waited and waited till a pretty woman came up to us gently grabbed my card from a girl swiped it, pressed a few things on her monitor asked some qs like whats my name and email. I gave her my info & almost instantly she helped the clerk reconnect my old card and gave us points along with a deal of the day discount on my items! I purchased my tickets 2 see Wonder Woman online 4 the 1st time & was kind of nervous. It was awesome. They scanned my phones emailed bar code and I was in. Its so cool & reassuring to know that our assigned seating worked out with such ease. We had the perfect Reclining Seats that was so comfortable that my daughter almost fell asleep on. We do it right every time by bringing in a small soft plush blanket rolled in a small drawstring bag. They checked it every time but they always let us in the theater so we mostly almost every time weve gone to the Huener Oaks Theater, it seems to never fail that we had a great time every time. So in closing, I would highly recommend everyone to try this place & check it out for themselves. I am sure that they would enjoy the fun safe & comfortable plce to enjoy a lovely movie
Worst experience Ive ever had at a theater. I usually frequent Santikos and wanted to try this theater out. For three of us we spent 50$ on movie tickets to see the new planet of the apes movie in 3D. As well as another $40 at the concession stand. So for 90$ we got enjoy our 3D movie with The LIGHTS ON! They didnt turn the lights off until 30 minutes into the movie and then they turned them on about an hour before the movie ended. Whosever in charge of the timing of the lights needs to be replaced or taught how to do there job correctly. Not only do I have those glare in my eyes for most of the movie but I also have another Patron who is walking her kid ( which is screaming) up and down the far stairs the entire last half of the movie as well. I got up once to look for someone in charge but couldnt see anyone that looked like they might be a manager or supervisor. I think next time I will just stick to my normal routine, which is not Regal Huebner Oaks. You cant just have nice chairs and expect to keep guest coming back to you theater. -Brandon Fowler
Im really big into movies and with my busy schedule I havent been able to get out and watch a good movie. I came here with my family so they can watch Trolls buy I had to watch Dr.Strange. I have never been here before but Im always around the area which is weird. Drove up and walked in and and the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the outside and the lobby. And the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about there position. It wasnt too busy yet and this was a Saturday around 5pm which is weird but hey worked in my favor. The seats were a reserved seating which we got our tickets on fandango (shout out) which was great since we didnt have to rush since the seats were reserved. I have never been to a theater where the seats recline like Im at home which was awsome its like a movie in the comfort in your own home. I will definitely be back to enjoy another movie due to the appearance and cleanliness of the theater. One Reagals best theaters in my opinion. Thanks guys and see you next time.
Screen 14 has two huge dirt spots (half the length) for about a YEAR.. It is very obvious when light colors, or white is on the screen. I go very often and have informed a manager 3 times. Each time, they respond as if they dont care. This Friday, the manager said "we do our best." Screen 13 has an issue with the projector... 2 points of light. These screens are reserved for new releases. I will not pay more money to see huge dirt spots. "Do our best" is not enough... The screens and projectors are the product I pay money to see, not the recliners. If your new releases look terrible, I will not give you money. Having this problem for a year is not acceptable. I will not use your theater again until you fix these issues. I am sure Santikos would rather have me spend a couple hundred dollars a month at their place. Please notify me when your screen and projector issues have been resolved, and I will gladly spend my money at your establishment.
Deplorable. This particular theater only offers front two rows of seating to us every time we go, even in the non-peak hours of attendance because, apparently, allowing customers to see the screen without having to crane their heads back is far too much to ask. After routinely finding that most of the seats behind us have NOT been sold we will no longer do business with this theater. There is absolutely no reason for them to treat customers in this manner. The solution, of course, is to go elsewhere to spend our money which we will certainly do. Happily, there are plenty of other theaters in San Antonio that still treat their customers as friends, rather than cattle.
Id say Regal done an amazing job with the remodelation of the theater. Their new screen, stereos, and reclining chairs make every movie a good experience, however after an hour in the movie youll start to feel discomfort in the reclining chairs as they dominate the position in which you watch your film. DONT BUY THE LARGE SIZE DRINK! Their straw sizes are 2/3 of the size of the large size cup and you wont realize it till youre an hour into the movie and your straw gets stuck at the bottom of the cup. So now you have to pop open the lid and shove your mouth into the cup tilting its contents to the side to drink it. Fauckin A
This theater is suppose to open at 11am it is currently 11:30 it is completely ridiculous there is a long line of people and the manager is just ignoring everyone. The girl at the front threw my debit card when they finally opened and when I spoke to the manager all she said was okay and rolled her eyes. I will definitely be getting in contact with corporate and referring business associates to other theaters based off this horrendous experience. If you are going to have people in management positions they should understand that they need to have a professional attitude.
June something: mark on my calendar to see Fathom Event at Huebner Oaks. July 14: check Fandango to make sure its still showing at 7:00 PM July 14, 6:45: attempt to buy tickets, only to be told it has been cancelled, (no reason given), but told its showing 15 minutes away at the Bijou. (July 14, 7:00: Bijou just sold out.) July 14, 7:15: still on the Huebner Oaks website. Is this a management problem ("We havent sold enough tickets," perhaps?) Very disappointed. Ronald Wiltse
