It has that old time elegance that you just dont see much of anymore. From the outside, this AMC theater looks really modern and new. It sits near the end of the Downtown Disney District across from the ESPN restaurant. Usually, there is some form of live entertainment going on just outside on the stage and the hustle and bustle of the Disney crowd is ever present however, once you enter this AMC, you are instantly transported back to a simpler time. The art deco interior gives this theater an elegant feel like you dont normally get now days. The services and amenities are all updated of course but if you were to just stand in the lobby and look around, youd swear you were back in the 50s. A bit from completely updated, the theater still has the late stadium seating and the first come first serve basis way of seating so if you are attending a new release, youd best get in line early. None of this assigned seating in luxury leather recliners here. Where they skimped on the seats though, they make up for on their screens. Gorgeous high def imax screens display whatever movie youre watching in brilliant detail. Add all of your legendary concessions and a wonderfully polite staff and youve got yourself a night at the movies to remember. Pro-tip: If you park in the Downtown Disney parking lot, you get 2 hours free and if you see a movie, the theater will validate you for another 2 free hours. Thats 4 free hours of parking in downtown Disney for free! Or do what I do and go leave the parking lot and return for another 2 free hours ;). Thanks for reading.

Went to see "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows" last night. The "digital" projection was absolutely horrible. Picture was dim and muddy, the sound muffled. Image seemed a bit out of focus. Felt like I was watching a blown-up VHS tape. Thought it was only my screen (I was in #12). Took a peak at others in the cinema (10, 11, and 14). All were equally as bad. For my money I deserve crystal-clear picture and sound. Regal Cinemas advertises their digital screenings as "4K digital projection". Those look and sound fantastic! Shame on you, AMC and Disney!

The Theatre sounded so good, and it was a regular showing; non IMAX, or RPX. Very near the theatre, the resturant "Earl of Sandwich" is so, so good. Definatley worth the mortgage I had to take out to pay for it, again DISNEY PRICES. I dont mind paying a little extra if I know it is going to be good quality, and that is the case here. Parking is validated (free) with a movie ticket purchase. Dont forget your like I did, they still let me go without paying for parking, great customer service.

It wasnt surprising to see that the theater wasnt a very big hot spot - not many people travel all the way to Disney just to watch a movie. But when youve got some time to kill (like the day you arrive and dont have park tickets), this was a nice theater with plenty of seating choices. I saw Rogue One and there were no annoying kids talking or people sitting directly in front of me. Couldnt have asked for a better screening!

This is an amazing AMC Theaters! Never busy, unless you are there on a Saturday night but that is anywhere. The place is really clean and how can you beat the area. Its in Downtown Disney! People who are saying the movie quality is terrible needs to get their eyes checked. There is nothing wrong with the quality. Please dont be discouraged by some of these other reviews.

Nice theater and gives you lots of options of things to do before/after the movie. Prices in line with other AMC theaters so it doesnt feel like youre overpaying since youre close to Disneyland. Make sure to get parkng validated if parking in Downtown Disney lots. They give you 2 free hours without validation. Validation brings it up to a total of 4 free hours.

This is my theater of choice whenever a new movie comes out because they always show it on a very large screen, which I love, they are always friendly, and the facilities have always been clean. Im glad to have this AMC theater close to my home. Its also nice to have a great variety of eateries just steps away in the wonderful Downtown Disney.

Plan on at least 20 minutes to park and walk and about 30 min to get out of the parking lot if you do an evening show. The theater is decent but not worth the extra hour of time needed to get to and from. The sound was so loud even my teenagers were anxious to get out.

These are probably my favorite theaters in Orange County, excluding the high-end ones popping up now (which also pack a $20 ticket price). The screens and sound at this location are great and validated parking will cover you for the duration of your flick

Great place to relax and watch a movie during your visit to Downtown Disney. Been here a few times, and staff was very helpful. Awesome design in the front; also cool to walk out after an afternoon showing and see a band not too far ahead on the stage.

Its firstly a Downtown Disney attraction. The entrance is directly in front of the parking area so access is easy. It has an interesting interior with a space theme and concession stand. They are very accommodating. Restrooms are to the left

My only reason for 1 star is because Downtown Disney & Disneyland are not in Los Angeles. Theyre in Orange County. The theatre itself is great, but this is false advertising. Its a 1-3 hour drive from L.A. to Anaheim, which is in Orange County.

Great for tourist or if you are not from the area. But living so close to it makes some of the stuff stale. Its still fun to go to see live bands, have a first date night, or a have a nice dinner. Definitely check out some of the bars there.

I thought it might be better than the average theater because its Disney, but its just regular. Also signs are out dated within and not that clean, just one restroom on one side of the theater not well stocked in paper needs lol.

Its a little weird to come here to see a movie when theres Downtown Disney right outside the doors. But its a good theater nonetheless. The showings are a but limited, but it its everything youd expect from an AMC.

Great movie theater very clean and the employees are very professional. The only thing I can complain about is the pricing maybe thats why when we go its never packed and we choose just about any seat we like.

Love love love DTD Great for a date night for sure. This is our go to movie spot. Love that you can walk around shop and dine and catch a movie , hit Starbucks or Jazz kitchen or Brea Bakery for a treat.

Surprisngly never crowded. Just get through downtown Disney parking and this location is amazing for a movie outing. Still no alcoholic drinks served yet as compared to the other movie theaters.

Good theater that makes for a nice getaway from the bustle that Downtown Disney can sometimes bring. Especially great if you want a cool place to getaway from the heat in!

Great location, poor customer service. Cashier forgot my hot dogs. When I asked cashier for hot dogs she blew me off. Will try not to visit this location in the future.
