AMC Willowbrook 24 offers a modern movie-going experience with amenities like recliner seats and assigned seating. However, the theater seems to struggle with customer service and cleanliness, as noted by multiple reviews. Despite the upgraded Dolby screens and sound systems, these issues have led some customers to consider not returning. High pricing for both tickets and concessions is also a common point of discussion.
While the theater offers a range of facilities and amenities, it appears that there is room for improvement in several key areas that significantly impact the customer experience.

In this day and age, many people like to watch movies at home where they can sit back and relax in their recliner, knowing they’re in the best seat in the house right in front of the TV. Of course, you have to wait until new releases become available for rent to watch them at home and you don’t get the same immersive experience as you would with a giant screen and surround sound. At AMC Willowbrook 24, you can have your cake and eat it too. The theater has all the modern conveniences like online ticket purchases and stadium seating, but it also has the bonus features of assigned seating and recliner seats. Choose the seats you want when you buy your ticket. Tickets prices for adults vary from approximately nine to fifteen dollars depending on the type of theater (digital, Dolby, 3D, or Imax). The armrest will go down between pairs of two seats, but you can easily seat three people side by side because there are no gaps between seats. If you press the button on the side of your chair, your back will recline and your feet will simultaneously rise. This enables you to relax comfortably and also watch the movie with no neck strain if you end up seated in the front of the theater. The sound and picture quality in the individual theaters are all excellent, even when viewing the least expensive digital option. This theater has a concession stand including Icees and drink mix-ins, and also has a bar where you can grab a cocktail before the movie. Prices are high at the concession stand, as at other theaters. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I gave the theater 4 stars because the restrooms are not overly clean: several of the toilets were clogged and not all of the stall doors locked. Overall, I would recommend this movie as a relaxing retreat in which to view a movie with all the comforts of home. So, in other words, get up out of your recliner and go claim a recliner for that new release you want to see at AMC Willowbrook 24.

Absolutely horrible customer service and HOT. The food service employee, John, took his sweet time about everything. Was more focused on watching his coworkers and joking around. He actually walked off while I was giving my order to get something who for someone who just walked up to the counter. I asked for his manager. What a joke he calls over his supervisor, Eli, who just says were understaffed. I didnt say anything about the wait or long lines, I wanted him to be aware of the horrible attitude of his employee, who just laughed the whole time and said "thats funny" By the way, why are there 8 people behind the counter but only 3 registered open. I asked for my receipt, and conveniently the printer was broken. The theater was HOT. Its nice they updated the seats to leather like recliners, but then they need to have the theater cool enough so you do sweat and stick to the seats. AMC 10 in Spring is cool, there alot of people who bring blanckets. To spend $60 for a family of 4 and to have such a bad experience is wrong. My recommendation is to go to Silverado 19 or Cinemark, they have true customer appreciation. I wont be going back.

If I could give them a negative star I would . I went there with a couple of friends to watch hateful 8. Well when my friends went to buy the tickets the lady in the front name Sarah was extremely rude she could have easily said sorry I cant sell you tickets cause its passed 9 and one of my friends was 17 so I would have understand but the way she said it was unprofessional she told me "thats not her problem and to move a side you can get refunded in the customer care area" in a snobby tone so I went to customers care and asked for a Manger when the Manger arrived she said what do yall want <----- (super unprofessional ) after that we asked about the curfew cause we never had this happened before at cinemark . She responded thats there problem not mine me and my friend were shocked with the terrible customer service . WE ENDED UP SPENDING MONEY AT SILVERADO AND THEY DIDNT GIVE US A PROBLEM (THEY ALSO HAD A BAR) AMC WILLOWBROOK GHETTO WITH ALL THE GHETTO WORKERS IN SIDE DONT GET IMMEDIATE WITH THERE SEATS CAUSE THATS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME ....... Hope management changes not gonna lie

Came there on 09-07-2017 had black tickets already purchased just need the movie and seat assignment . Went to the guest services desk which was empty (i mean she wasnt doing anything just sittin talking to the ticket taker )was told to go wait in line(LONG AF LINE with only one employee working ) , ok i was fine with that but the the couple behind us didnt want to wait in line they were fully allowed to the guest services desk and buy their tickets. For the same movie we were gonna watch... which took up the seats that we wanted.the rest of the seats were the first row to the screen (neck break seats) ... the manager told me they couldve been stubs members or ticket exchange but they werent i talk to the lady waiting in line . Even so i was never asked if i was a stub member . IM A PREMIER MEMBER if that means anything lol . So we didnt get to watch the movie due to the incompetence of the staff.

We did like the new comfortable seating, but Theater #9 was hot. It seemed to cool off a bit when the movie started, but it got hot again before it was over. My husband described the theater as "slimy" - cleaning was very minimal and the handrail into the theater was sticky. ALSO, there were a lot of noisy teenagers in the theater. Next to me, the two girls talked the whole time and pulled out their phones to check texts, etc. Another person at the end of the isle kept receiving texts and sending them. Down front, near the screen, a whole row of teens got up and ran out of the theater making all kinds of noise and continued to be loud right at the entrance ramp to the theater before they all came back in.... And whats with allowing people trying to sell you on a new electric company in the lobby?? Even with the new seating, Im not sure well be back unless the management improves.

This was my first time at an AMC theater , the Dolby theater expierence was what brought me there and it was awesome . Unfortunately the rest is not. Maybe AMC thinks investing in the Dolby theater is enough and makes up for everything no matter what . They are wrong . This theater is understaffed and it shows in everything. Cleaniness , time and quality of service , availability and quality of concessions . Im not sure why a theater would invest this much in the theater and then proceed to cheap out on staff and service training. It doesnt make sense . I noticed many reviews mentioning the same thing about other AMC theaters in the surrounding area and Im wondering if its a corporate culture issue. Ill hesitate when considering an AMC theater next time , which is a shame because the Dolby theater expierence was really good .
