Summer A

My friend gets a lot of free movie passes for AMC and often insists we go to the Glendora AMC. After our visit Tuesday, Im putting my foot down and refusing to return. Its never been a great theater. Its amenities are average, its restrooms are always in poor repair, it attracts a lot of rude customers, and often the employees are more interested in their private conversations than in doing their jobs. For some reason, the volume on the 3D movies is turned up all the way so you feel like you are standing in front of the speakers at a rock concert. We started wearing ear plugs for 3D showings. With a well-seated earplug, you can hear every bit of whispered dialog and dont leave with your ears ringing. Tuesday the Glendora AMA took a bad movie experience to new levels. My friend wanted to burn all of her free passes in one day, so we bought tickets for a full day at the movies. Upon entering the theater, there was no one collecting tickets. We were there all day and there was no one collecting tickets all day long. So anyone could just walk in and watch as many movies as they want to without paying and many people did exactly that. In all of the movies we saw, there were people running in and out giggling loudly in some form of movie theater tag. That was distracting and annoying. Then came our last movie of the day where 70% of the audience kept running in and out of the theater. The loud couple who came in late, sat 5 seats away from us, and proceeded to jerk each other off and shake the whole back row (the one against the wall) flatly refused to do it quietly. When I went to get an usher the guy had his feet on the chair in front of him and refused to move them to let me pass. I had to push past him and then he kicked me as I walked away. I brought back an usher who tried to talk to the guy. The guy told the usher he didnt have his feet on the chair blocking the aisle (while they were still up and completely blocking the aisle) and that he didnt have to do what the usher said. The usher turned tail and ran. I was offered free tickets to come back another time. Nope. Im done. This is a dirty, loud, and unsafe theater. The employees dont even have the courage to ask criminally misbehaving customers to leave or to even call the police to have them removed. ANYONE can just walk in and do ANYTHING they want to the theater and other customers with no consequences at all. There is no security in this theater at all. So if you want to pay so that other people can spoil 2 hours of your time, go to the Glendora AMC. Otherwise, go to just about any other theater. My favorite is the Edwards La Verne. It is clean (the bathrooms are average), has the reclining seats, polite and professional staff, and lots of security.

Always clean, always on time, never had a problem! Ive always had friendly ticket takers and employees, so I dont have any complaints, but they are teenagers/young adults so maybe Im just lucky? Highly recommend the theater, though! A+ Also, dont listen to Summer A. 70% of the Theater was running in and out of the screening playing tag? 70%? Talk about exaggeration. And the Edwards Cinema is cool, the reclining seats are a good addition for longer movies, but saying its cleaner is really reaching for it, man.

I have never had issues here until Valentines Day. I went with a friend to see Deadoool any the woman at the ticket booth refused to sell us tickets because we are under the age of 21.Deadpool is Rated R, which is 17 and up so I find it ridiculous that we, ages 19 and 18, could not see Deadpool. Our plans were completely messed up because of this. I will not be returning to this theater because they denied me ticket sales without a valid reason.

I am not a good English speaker, I speak a lot of Spanish. Jaya a man working there spoke to me in Spanish, knowing I was Mexican and it helped make it easy to order things. He is one of the few that asked if I needed help with speaking. He was thoughtful and helped making choosing easier. I wished other places had more Spanish speakers like this one.

This is the best theatre in Glendora. Bathrooms have gotten a little rundown recently. Half of the sinks work sometimes. When I go, the theatres are most always clean and I rarely ever have any issues there. But like all places they can definitely improve. Need more workers at the snack bar and ticketbooth especially during heavy hours.

This was our first time coming to this theater and it looks really nice theres lots of restaurants around it. it was during the December holiday season and the theater was not crowded at all its like a little gem only thing is that since there is Costco and Sams Club and all of the other shops, the parking is a bit crazy

Bunch of kids rude kids kept talking the whole move and ruined the experience. Asked them nicley to be quiet, told the manager. She said she spoke with them. Never heard her speaking to them. In all my years this has never happened.

I am so embarrassed that This AMC is a part of Glendora. Worst service ever while getting popcorn and drinks. The young lady who helped us wss very rude and rolled her eyes at us. I will never watch a movie at this theater again

The seats are stained and smelly, I had some guys seated behind me put their feet up on the seats on either side of me, rude. Snacks are expensive bathrooms are clean, the employees friendly and helpful

Exceptional viewing experience. The staff is top notch and the facility spotless. The theaters stadium seating provides quality viewing wherever you sit. I will go no where else to see a movie!

I went to see The Martian and was very impressed with how well managed and clean the entire theatre is. I will be going back for another movie. This place might just become my usual theatre.

Pricing at the concession stand was odd... They actually charge you more for getting a combo instead of buying it all individually. It was just buy a few cents but I still feel jipped.

Cheapest tickets Ive seen. The AMC membership is totally worth it if you are a movie freak. 7$ ticket on Tuesdays before 12pm. Good food awesome movie experience. Highly recommended.

The employees here are awesome and friendly. Every time I come the theater is clean and smells good. Theres never a problem with the screen but of there is they fix it right away.

Bad customer service, I call for the manager because an issue with my rewards card... He didnt help me at all and I lost points... Rewards card NOT WORTH IT.

My movie spot, close to the house, clean, love the self service drinks, the ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, THE TICKET TAKER.
