This is a course that demands excellent tee shots, especially for longer hitters who are enticed by risk/reward opportunities. With water coming into play on (approx) 13 holes, the course presents numerous challenges and spectacular views. The enormous tree-lined, quarry wall that runs along the course protects players from harsh Springtime winds, while offering views that you wont find anywhere else. The greens roll nicely throughout the year, and reach PGA Tour-like speeds during the summer. This is one of the fairest tests of golf in the St. Louis metro; definitely the best value.

Played this course today and was very impressed. First, this is a really fun course to play. I thought the course itself was pretty unique and the design made for some interesting shots. The water on almost every hole and the fairway bunkers can make driving difficult, and some of the approach shots were fairly tricky. Overall I thought the course was in excellent condition and I hope they can keep it like that throughout the hot months this summer. Finally, I thought the price was excellent. I walked 18 in the evening for about $20. I will definitely be going back soon.

Been to about 20 golf courses around St Louis. This is one of my absolute favorites. In an old rock quarry. Feels like you are not inside the city. The course is fairly open but has some interesting holes. Plays pretty forgiving in my experiences so far. Can get busy and players are pretty impatient here sometimes.

Every year you can expect prices to go up. Nickle dime to the dollar. Its a little close for me and hereby time and a few cents less for gas. The old preverbal..."the rock and the hard spot".

The course is an interesting layout and usually in terrific shape. Some very interesting holes that will make you use all the key clubs in your bag. Nice people in the clubhouse.

Fantastic course that is well-maintained and has a great staff. Their on-course beer prices are reasonable, an important fact given how hot it is in St. Louis during the summer.

Over booked and then told us to play faster. Complained we brought a cooler. Started us an hour late. Worst golf course Ive ever been to.
