This theater needs better management when it comes to the cleanliness of the place. The snack bar and drink stations had dirty counters, popcorn spilled everywhere, straws, drink lids and dirty napkins on the floor, also all trashcans were full. The area where one pours butter on the popcorn was also dirty and needed some wiping of the counters and sweeping of the area around it. I headed to watch the movie and fortunately that part of the theater was clean, but when the movie was over and I headed out to use their facility. Two toilet stalls were overflowing leaving only three stalls for use. To my disgusting surprise the stall I used had dirty feminine napkins overflowing out of the little trash compartment. It seems as if the cleanliness and the appearance of this AMC theater is not a management priority.

The novelty for this theater place has died down over the year, therefore, theres a better chance of getting decent seats for that movie that just came out. Service is good, restrooms are decent, we havent come across any sticky seats yet, and the concession stand is generally clean. I guess with less people, the place has been kept fairly clean, and it generally seems safe at night with well-lit parking and some casual eateries dotted around the plaza. Not a bad place to catch this weekends blockbuster- they might actually have a line for tickets for once.

I have a customer for years and I cannot complain about much. 30 screens gives you plenty of showtimes. Prices are typical for AMC. The best thing to do is to get the Stubs Rewards to earn a free show plus other perks. There is plenty of parking in the back and you might even be lucky to a little bit of shade for your car. Right now they are doing construction and I wish they would improve the ticket booth where the LED marquee is hard to see the showtimes when the sun is in your face. A good place to watch movies with room for improvement.

This is a great theater. This is the only theater my friend comes to, so I started coming here too. The staff are very kind and helpful. The only bad experience I can remember is a guy sitting next to me on his phone and the screen was bright and distracting, but that was because of someone else and had nothing to do with the staff. Also, their variety of snacks is more than many other theaters I have been to. I have a movie line-up and will be coming to see these movies to this theater.

Manager Jennifer is the worst. We went to see the avengers and its was five minutes to show time, we went to sit down and there was a guy saying he had the whole row reserved, we said sorry you can not reserve a whole row for people who arent here. We sat down, the people showed up late and the manager made us get up and leave and then she argued with us that it was the normal practice and that one person can show up early and reserve a whole row for people who arent there. Ridiculous.

I am not going to talk about the prices because if you have gone to a AMC or Edwards in the past decade it is all the same. This theater is about as clean as any that is about 20 years old. The worst thing about this theater is that it used to utilize 30 screens. It always had a great selection. Then it stopped using the south wing of the theater. 13 screens are not being used at all. They have even renamed it to AMC Covina 17.

The AMC 30 is excellent. I always look for a theater with good acoustics since I have hearing difficulties. The sound system is excellent and if you still need more, they have infrared headsets and text systems available. Many theaters offer the infrared system but these are of very good quality and make the movie experience a very enjoyable one. I enjoy going to the show again since discovering this AMC.

Messy theater, food stained upholstery all day long into the next day and the next. What do you expect when you have kids in and out of the theater and kids employed there and half-ass parents who dont practice a little courtesy and pick up after themselves? Cmon now. So just be careful when entering! Think about how you lean your head back too...ya never know what is crusted up on that part of your seat!

I had a wonderful time viewing the movie, War Room. Bottom line, the movie was awesome and it showed what an AWESOME GOD we serve. Everyone needs to see this movie at least once. It will motivate you to follow Gods Greatest Gift, JESUS CHRIST, THE SAVIOUR, THE LORD and to all those who believe in HIM our soon coming KING. You will be blessed!

First things first, theatres arent cheap and your not going to find that here either. Compared to other theatres, however, this theatre is nice an clean. The staff is friendly and very polite. I even prefer the layout of the rooms. It would be five stars but like I said theatres arent cheap and thats my only gripe with this place.

Best movie theater ever made. The structure is impressive. The sound quality is great. Good low bass, clear powerful mid, and crisp, clean, clear highs. Projection is wonderful. State of the art screens and projection devices. Its my favorite movie theater. I rarely go anywhere else. :) David Abe

You go to their website to find out what is showing and they want you to log in and if you are not a member to sign up. I am not going to give you all that info just to find out what is showing. The Pacific Theaters website it much more friendly and easy to use. J

Terrible experience. Drove out of the way to go to avengers in IMAX 3D. Ran in quickly and sat down to find a screen that was smaller than a normal movie theater... But at least the expensive price was the same as the website had listed! I wont be returning!

The sound quality in the movie theater was loud and crisp. Knocking off one star because they made us wait in line outside of the building and it started to rain a little. We had to wait about 15 minutes in the rain until they let us line up inside.

I have never had anyone at AMC Covina 30 be rude. They seem to go overboard to make our family feel welcome and appreciated. We used to go to another theater for their rewards program, but with STUBS we dont even bother anymore.

Friendly staff. I appreciate the customer service unlike other theatres. Love that they have the Coca Cola self serve machine. So many choices! There is no reclining chairs but still a good place overall to watch a movie.

Customer service is 100x better. The food, not so,much. They recently changed their menu and it does not taste good. I hope they go back to their old menu. I am glad they i am glad they improved their customer service ☺.
