After reviewing other post and speaking with my neighbors in Galt the consensus is to never patronize this place again. In this case I and my friends were playing 9 holes. We teed off at 3:00 and decided to walk. It wasn,t until the 7th hole that we had an issue. There were No golfers in front of us or behind us. Then, two carts showed up on the fairway. Me another golfer were already on the green. Our third was at the 150 yard marker. Just as he was getting ready to set, Chris the Owner rolled up and started spouting how it is Golf rules to allow them to play through. That we were moving to slow for him and his friends. Really, after we had already teed off. Chris, (the owner) decided to start arguing with my Army Vet. Needless to say, A guy calling himself the Owner, Chris started spouting that he was the owner and that he has decided, we were out of there. Really!!!?? He cant have a grown up conversation with other men without throwing his ownership card down. He called the local PD to have the 3 of us remove. What a waste of our PD time and funds. We had not threatened him or his mature friends. We had not been confrontational other than asking what and why he was treating us so unprofessionally and rude. We had already started to leave this "course" after being treated so RUDELY!! (As if we would stay.) Just after a few minutes with our team the police apologetically asked us to leave and informed us the ownership has revoked our privilege to patronize this course, Ouch!! As if they were paying us to play the course. What did we do wrong. We were not drunk, or making noise while people were teeing off? No, the glaring issue was we were not moving fast enough for Chris the owner. We were walking, not riding in carts like he was. We would have allowed them to play through if we would have been approached at the tee box. We didnt even know that they wanted to play through. I strongly recommend that you take a few more minutes and pass Dry Creek Golf Course. Lockford Springs Golf Range is very nice, Emerald Oak in Elk Grove, Bing Maloney in Sacramento are just as nice. With so many other Public Golf Course available why would you treat a local resident this way, let alone people visiting your course. I recommend you read the reviews on Yelp. They will all support what I claim happened to us. It has happened to other golfers. There seems to be ONE GLARING PROBLEM!!! Chris. (The OWNER)

If you want to support a course who treats their customers and staff with no respect or professionalism then play here. Steve Choe (the owner) and Chris (his son) both yell at their staff and call them names using foul language and derogatory statements. They yell at customers. If it is your first time here or you have golfed here for several years, they are sure to drive you away. My recommendation is that you dont waste your time. The owner is cheap and cuts corners in all repairs and maintenance so the course is not maintained and the lodge or food space is dirty and run down. They have few working carts so your lucky if you get one. Spend your money somewhere else to make your golfing experience worthwhile and enjoyable.

I played this course for the first time last weekend. Great course, lots of trees and hazards, great condition and fun to play. But wow i read the reviews before i went about the hospitality and they are spot on. The bar tender (Owner Son) was completly flat. Did not even say high or thankyou for coming in. He was extremely rude and cared more about the TV show that was on than any customer that came in. Next time i will bring my own drinks in a personal ice chest and i recommend you do that as well to avoid the bartender. Older man in the proshop was great but obviously not the owner or his rude son. 2 stars because the course is worth it.

Ill start by saying it is a beautiful , tough course. You need to know what you are hitting into and the tee box nor scorecard tells you about trees in the fairways. Guess I could have driven out there and looked before I hit, but I was walking. The reason I give it 2 stars is because of the location. The 99 freeway splits the course and you are never in a quiet place. IF I ever played it again, I would bring ear plugs, and a range finder because its extremely loud from the freeway, and there are no yardage markers except at 150 yds. if this course was somewhere away from the freeway, I would play it often.

Dry creek is a good muni. tract with some great holes. The problem here is the management. The starters had no idea who was playing, who was on the tee, or any concept of spacing golfers out. The round took 5:30 hours, which explains everything. At first I thought maybe they are just having a bad day, but the twosome I was paired with explained that this was normal. Next which is worse the bartender was not helpful, or even nice. twice I waited for a beverage and twice I walked out. I would advise all to avoid this course on the weekends and enjoy the week days. thanks

Worst experience ever!! Rude treatment by guy claiming to be owner!! He was yelling and putting finger in the fae of my nephew because he thought he was under 18. He was very unprofessional and apparently this happens often because when we went to a nearby course the workers there said they hear that alot!! Avoid this plae!!

This is a great course but every time Im here there is some IDOIT driving past the signs and going all the way to the green in their cart these people should not be allowed on a course such as this when they cant even obey the rules it took them 2 1/2 hours to play 5 holes

Always really slow. It took 6 hours to play on Wednesday. Greens are patchy and full of bad spots. I had to move my ball on several greens so I was not putting through bald spots . Now the restaurant, I dont think it has been cleaned in months.

The fairways are fair and wide enough. Plenty of green grass. The greens are size and in good shape. The owners are good people. Bunkers have sand in them. Plenty of trees on property

The course was challenging. We played from the whites and it was plenty long. I loved all the oaks, even in the fairway. Got to play again.

Great course and probably the only PGA rated course in the area. Caution many dog legged lefts. Definitely not for hackers.

Service is okay but the course is great. Tough greens and long par 5s and 4s not the best for beginners.
