This theatre is GREAT! Everything is new and clean with all the latest and greatest in amenities. The hospitality of the staff and management is second to none. Harkins has upped the movie viewing experience big league with their full lounge bar and child care facility. This theatre is equipped with comfy seats that recline and kick up your feet with plenty of elbow room and very accommodating cup holders. The picture and sound quality inside is exceptional too. You also cant beat the convenience of pre-purchasing your seat in advance online versus waiting in line early for the next best available seat. I will only patron this establishment from here on out. Five Stars!

I am happy that this place opened. It is my go to movie house. Big comfortable reclining seats, clean screens and no problems with rowdy and loud guests looking for problems with each other. However, as with every theater, there are loud older guests that believe they are in their own living room. Sound quality is the best in the area. Their loyalty cups and T-shirt make the customary popcorn and beverage only $1.50 per visit add-on. Cant beat that. There is a bar inside which seems to be a nice convenience while waiting for your movie to start...assigned seats are strictly enforced which means you dont have to rush in to claim a seat. I love this point.

Saw Doctor Strange here - first time visiting the theater. It was a wonderful experience. The reclining seats are amazing! Totally comfy! The staff were great and the stand lines for food were short. And if it was ever crowded, theyd call for other staff members to jump on and take orders. I appreciate that very much! The only complaint I have is that one of the staff members didnt smile at all, despite MY attempt at making small talk while I waited for my food. Maybe she was having a bad day? Whatever the reason, it made me feel extremely awkward. Aside from that, this is a great theater and Ill be visiting soon for another viewing!

This is a great movie experience. The best part is that you pick your seats before you go into the theatre so there is no fumbling around trying to find enough seats for your party. The seats in the theatres recline with a foot rest and are very cushioned. The aisles are also wide enough that people can walk past without having to sit the seat up. The theatre sells alcohol (if that is your kind of thing) and has a babysitting service so mom and dad can go see an adult movie while the kids color, do crafts, or watch a cartoon. The only downside I found is that the seats are so comfy you may fall asleep during your movie.

Always a good experience here. I have yet to run into an employee that wasnt trying to provide good customer service. One time I accidentally used Cinemark gift tickets at the box office and the attendant quickly checked with management who accepted them as a courtesy. Food selection and quality is fine. The seats are comfortable, no issues with screen or sound. The bar inside only has a limited beer and wine selection, but probably because there is a Cheesecake Factory just outside the lobby entrance. They play classic movies you may not have had a chance to see in a theater every Tuesday at 7pm for $5.

The first reason why it did not get a 5/5 rating because there is no imax like wth! Not only is there imax but their reclining seats are not that good they hurt my neck. I rather go to amc in Norwalk where I feel like Im laying in bed. Overall my experience was good I recommend this theatre it is really good with great service just note these minor flaws. Their service is so good they gave my friends and I free tickets, along with everybody else in that showing because their ac was not working.

This theatre is located at the Cerritos Mall and gets five stars from me for two reasons. #1- childcare. You pay $8 and your kid (3-8) gets to stay in the play area the entire time youre at the movie. AMAZING. #2 - Their movie nachos come with TWO cheeses and enough chips that I dont have a weird imbalance. On top of all that wonderfullness, the theatre seats are comfy, clean, and the sound and picture is good. This is my favorite theatre. If only Cerritos Mall could figure out better parking!

Please do not visit. Please do not try. Please stay away. This movie theater has the best recliner seats I have ever used and I do not want you to fall asleep while watching the movie. The theater is always clean which is bad because we are accustomed to popcorn dripped across the movie theater as decoration. Therefore, overall I do not want you to visit this theater because I want it all to myself. Harkins Theaters Cerritos sorry for the one star but I really want this theater all to myself.

I love that this is not really a chain, its family owned. I love that they have oversized reclining leather seats. I love (Well sort of) its next to Cheesecake, you can eat and come after and be fat. I love that they have alcohol here. I love that the summer movies are $5 /10 movies a pack (minus 1/2 auditorium daycampers) I love they have babysitting services for a fee. I love for free parking (But have to share with Cheesecake and the stores)

This is what a movie experience is supposed to be! Amazing new theaters with state-of-the-art screens and sound! Ultra-comfortable reclining la-z-boy type seats. Comfortable climate inside all of the theaters. And I absolutely love the fact that there didnt seem to be any children in the theater on the occasions Ive attended. I prefer adult movies and I love kids, but not while Im trying to watch a movie. I had a fantastic experience all together.

Perfect theater experience, super clean, modern, and pretty reasonable pricing. Also they give student and military discounts. Even the the "smaller" screens have reclining leather seats that are stupid comfortable. Have not had a chance to hear theater 1s atmos sound put the test yet, but the cieling array they have is quite impressive.

We were one of the first few to try this place and I feel so happy to be able to say that. I think this was my first Harkins and it was pretty high-tech from what Im used to. I was very comfortable and its in side Cerritos mall so its A++.

Its so amazing, very relaxing to watch a movie with their cozy recliners. And to top it all, while waiting for your movie, you can stay in the bar, and get some drinks, and you can leave your younger children in the daycare area.

Waited for 45 minutes for the row with the handicap seats to be released and some people before me that had not waited at all got the seats and no they were not handicap! There should be a better way of releasing those seats.

WONDERFUL matinee experience.!! Reclining seats one can easily fall asleep in. Room for others to walk by you, even when seat is extended. Alcohol served, at very reasonable prices. YES, I will be returning.
