Went there with some friends recently. The band that was there was really good. The drinks were an absolute scam. One of the bartenders, whom was wearing a Washington Nationals hat, took my order for a bourbon and sprite. He proceeded to fill the 4 oz cup with ice to well over the top. Then filled 3/4 of the void space with sprite before he finally added some bourbon to the drink. The remaining oz has half sprite half bourbon. There was no hint of alcohol in this 5 dollar drink. I would strongly advise people at this bar to avoid the male bartenders and I personally wont be coming back until the aforementioned Nationals fan is no longer a bartender at the establishment.

Bar: Always super crowded, but to a fault. Its a pretty small place, but one of the most popular which makes for a pretty bad combination. The walkways are all pretty tiny and theres always so many people. Walking around is a pain in the ass. At least the drinks are cheap. Food: Actually surprisingly good. They have some well made sandwiches and other random bar stuff. The couple times Ive eaten there have been great. But this place is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant.

I have never used my account to write a review before. These are my unbiased opinions. The Tin Roof was trash. The service is awful. The food is almost worse. However, by FAR the absolute WORST was the door man whom was hounding everyone, even when we were in the restaurant he would come over to his friends and gossip about how he took some "bitches" ID. He was rude to everyone that he came in contact with. As a notable establishment this is an embarrassment.

easily the worst bar in Lexington; if youre a frat boy, then expect a sub-par bar experience; if youre not in a frat, then expect to get stared down by a bunch of frattastic alcoholics and made to feel unwelcome; get your North Face jacket, jeans, and cowboy boots ready if you want to go here; oh yeah, the music sucks btw; basically just southern rock and country, and Ive never heard of a quasi famous band playing there

I frequently come here for lunch. Very underrated menu, the food is good and typically served pretty quickly. Prices are reasonable. Ive had very positive experiences with the staff, and find them to be polite. After a certain hour, the college-y bar scene emerges (which can be good or bad, depending on your perspective). I just make plans to high tail it before 8:00, and have seldom been disappointed.

I am 21 years old and the bouncer took my real ID without even allowing me to prove it was me with any other form of identification. He was rude and dismissive. I was only out for a friends bachelorette party, and my night ended before it started. As I stood outside for an hour in the rain, I watched multiple people I knew were under 21 not even get carded.

Fun college dive bar with cheap drinks and good food. Great game day atmosphere and its only a 10 minute walk to Rupp Arena. When weather permits, they have roll up garage doors that allow fresh air in the place.
