Im giving this theatre only 3 stars for false advertisement. I came @ 11:15am & they were closed even though Yelp showed them open @ 11am. There were 3 other ppl outside waiting as well. I waited til 11:40am expecting them to open soon because I saw an employee inside. He saw me but didnt bother to see if I needed assistance. Finally an employee came by & was waiting to be let in to start work. I asked him about the opening time. He said opening time varies depending on 1st movie showtime. I told him all I needed was to pre-purchase tkts for tomorrows show & that Id been waiting. He kept repeating himself & didnt offer to go ahead & sell me my 10 tkts because Ive already waited long enough. I advised him to update Yelp to reflect the various opening times instead of a general 11:00am opening & falsely misleading their customers. Ive always been an AMC customer because of their customer service. I was willing to give Regal a try because of their upgrades recliner seats.....but I may just switch back to AMC after this lack of willingness to go above & beyond to help a customer whos been waiting & only because they showed as Open on Yelp.

Didnt even know this theater had $6 Sundays! We came here when our regular one in Anaheim Hills wasnt playing SkyFall because TWILIGHT-TARDS took over a gajillion screens. Geezus. Thank goodness they had plenty of showings for Skyfall here ALONGSIDE the other stupid vampire movie. Parking is a bit crazy though, so be sure to allot some extra time for that. We saw the 2:15 pm showing and arrived at 1:30 pm to get good seats. By 2 PM, it was packed and there were still people milling around on the stairs looking for seats when previews started. Great stadium seating, and I didnt see the stains that some reviews were talking about. Sure, the arm rests didnt pop up but the screen was CLEAN and CLEAR. At least Theater #2 was. They did waste a lot of space with the mini foot-ball field in the front. When we walked out there a couple of guys playing football and one almost smacked my dad in the head. -_- Id totally come back again for $6 Sundays but morning - early afternoon to avoid the teens.

Sunday Experience- $6, any movie, all day Sunday. Sunday is not the best day to go if you hate crowds and waiting in long lines for a new movie. We made 2 attempts to see Guardians of the Galaxy during the opening weekend on Sunday. First attempt was at 1:00PM for the 2:00PM showing. Lines were ridiculously long and capacity was almost full an hour before the show. We came back at 3:00PM in hopes of getting in the 5:00PM. Luckily, they added a 4:00PM due to the high demand. We got tickets and stood in line. They let us in about 30 minutes before the show. The movie was shown in one of the bigger rooms. Our seats were 4 rows up in the back section. Pretty good since we were able to sit right in the middle. The seats were pretty run down. There werent any cushion and I could feel the springs. Aside from that, the theater itself is pretty clean. JFYI- theres a dollar tree in the same plaza as Regal. Go there if you wanna save some $$ on snacks.

To everyone affiliated with this Regal Cinema, you have several options for subsequent lifeline: do away with the assigned seating (as conflicts among theatergoers transpired too often), reconstruct the proximity of the first row (many of us cannot bear the unbearable experience from having our eardrums nearly explode by sitting so close to the sound speakers, not to mention the horrible viewpoint of seeing each detail clearly), or fairly reduce the admission ticket prices of the first row altogether (it just so happened that one of the recliner seats werent able to function for my friend). If none of these aforementioned issues matter to you, people will start walking out of movies, demand their refunds, and leave those seats consistently in the near future. Other than this pathetic invented tradition, in a Gramscian sense, general admission unquestionably proves more suitable for modern cinema.

Very good theater with plush leather lounge type seating. Perfect for afternoon getaway...even if bored, you can be relaxed here. Only 2 items for improvement; At night they dont always have enough concessioners and lines are too long. Weekday matinees should be $8.50 or under rather than over $10.00...During the day before 3pm....often I see movies here in which no more than 1 or 2 people other than myself. It may very well have to do with the price...advertise to surrounding areas about special deals, and Ill bet many more people will come. To owner; Im a marketing expert...hire me and Ill guarantee many more people in seats..and more concessionaire sales!!! Lol...I know thats not going to happen.

My new favorite venue! The staff were all friendly and helpful! Kudos to the manager! You can always tell when employees enjoy their job and strive to be excellent at it! Reserved seating AND reclining leather seats?? Yes please!! Fantastic comfortably viewing experience! I highly recommend it! We went on a Friday night, and loved not having to wait in a long line! Plenty of parking and several snack counters, so those lines were short. The staff was attentive and assisted us with a sense of urgency.

Best experience Ive had, reserved seats and reclining seats, plus you can order some food from the snack bar and get it delivered to your seat as to not miss a moment of your movie, would be cool if they would somehow make an under seat remote menu to make orders easier and lines shorter a push of a button and the order and seat number head to the snack bar where it is prepared and dispatched, but that would just make it cooler, this place is the Ish though

Waited in line today for a maintenee ticket for the revenant...waited over 15 minutes just to have my complaint about the wait time dismissed by a very surly young lady. They had five booths open an shuffled every line around to accommodate everyone except for our line. Very rude service at the ticket booth I did not want to buy pop corn or snacks but my date needed to. I will not be coming back here again !!!

Im 53" and unless I fully recline, and sit at the back wall, the new seats are not meant for short people and are very uncomfortable. Its very irritating that I have to pay extra for seats meant for men and taller women. Id much rather have the old seats and watch a movie sitting and save myself from a crick in my neck. There is no other option except go to another theater, which is usually my choice.

This theater is pretty inexpensive, $6 movies on Sunday. Dont think you can bring outside drinks or food in with out the security guard asking to see in your bag. He did let me keep the bottles of water I brought in. I think they are looking for alcohol etc. more than anything else. The theater is fairly clean, and now you get to relax in reclining seats. Overall good place to bring the kids on a Sunday

Es cierto que la comida es cara pero es igual de cara que en todos los cines, pero el lugar esta muy bien, limpio, agradable luce bien, huele bien y los domingos esta a mitad de precio.

Best seats ever!!! And if you live in garden grove and dont support this theater i feel sad for your soul. Anywho, there is a Dollar Tree literally like 5ft away and you can re-up on snacks real quick and hide them in your ladies purse or a small back pack, staff is cool they dont F with you, just dont make a mess, do that in Santa Ana, Lulz. Okay thats enough. Thank you.
