The place is dated, smells and is full of deferred maintenance. They must be planning to shut it down or tear it down. My guess is their lease is up soon so theyre just letting it deteriorate. Its likely Malco plans to build off 540 at Elm Springs where the new Walmart will be built. Staffing levels at Sunset are a problem too - they were only servicing one side so there were VERY long lines. On the more positive side, ticket prices are dirt cheap to match the awful environment. Unfortunately, Concession prices havent changed. We wont be back. Despite the crowds and high prices, the Razorbacks atmosphere is (comparatively speaking) much more worth the cost. Only if youre super price-sensitive and have lots of young kids should you go to this theatre.

Depending on which theater the movie is playing in....most times is GREAT...but they have TWO theaters that SERIOUSLY need renovated with CUP HOLDERS because I REFUSE to sit in a theater where I have to sit my drink on the FLOOR....You will lose MY business EVERY TIME if the movie I want to watch is being played in either of those two theaters. Quit being such TIGHTWADS and UPGRADE the seating WITH CUP HOLDERS !!...it would also be very HELPFUL if you would ADVERTISE which movies are playing in which theaters so I can know in advance when to SKIP the movie before wasting my time and gas to drive all the way there to find it playing in either of the two VERY SUBSTANDARD theaters....nine times out of ten...this will get your staff cussed out !!!

Yes. It is an old theater. It does not have cupholders or arm rests that fold up for couples to cuddle during the movie. The movies that show have been out in theatres for a month+. But if youre not sure if youd like a movie, or have kids, or dont mind that the seats do not have cupholders then its a GREAT place to go. You can watch 3 movies in one day with the same price as a movie and any other Malco. Movie quality is great, the screens and seating are larger than other Malco theater in the area. You save $6-7 per person every time you go. Its worth the trip and I try to go every time they have a movie Ive been wanting to see without the big movie price. Ive been taking my nieces and nephews for years and they love it.

Dont waste your money. Go to the AMC Fiesta Square. This malco is old and dirty and overpriced. Not to mention that only now after AMC moved in and shows them what a real theater is they decided to finally upgrade there absolutely disgusting theaters. Which will probably only result in them forcing people in to paying them 15.00$ a ticket over the 12.00$ they were charging. Just go to the AMC , 9.00 $ for a adult ticket and better reclining seats and a full serivice bar. As well as free refills on all non acholic drinks freaking Malco makes you spend 6.00$ on a drink then wants you to pay for a refill. I hope AMC puts them out of business.

This is a great place to watch cheap movies. We take our kids here a lot to watch, or re-watch, cartoons or kid movies. We also go often to watch a movie that we didnt get a chance to see when it was in the "regular" theaters. Its an older theater and they generally only show movies that have been out for a while. It also has a bit of an odd, musty smell (ha). But, the staff has always been very polite and friendly and the quality of the audio/video is good enough for me considering that I can buy tickets and popcorn/cokes for everyone for the price of the tickets alone at most theaters.

The only good thing I can say about this place is that the seats were comfortable. Every single employee seemed like the most miserable humans on earth. Not a smile, no eye contact, and the only chick that didnt speak in monotone was rude. She also charged me 5 dollars for a small water. Then proceeded to question why I didnt get candy or popcorn and then rolled her eyes when I said just water. I will never recommend this place to a soul unless you enjoy being treated like garbage. If you are that miserable you should not be working in a customer service job.

Heres the truth, if you want to see a great movie that came out about two months ago at a discounted price of $3...go here! The workers are pretty cool and laid back, they dont really hound you (all in your face, checking tickets at the door and crap which is pretty cool) ...there are a lot of teenagers that go here on dates to watch movies so just be mindful of that. Overall I enjoyed this theater. Its a good place to go at a good price!

I cant believe some of the comments,no cup holders,no this or no that, they dont show current movies, they only show movies that have been out for awhile, people its $3.00 a seat and you can buy all the pop and pop corn you want for $10.00! Its an old theater, what do you expect. I love this place, where else can you take your family and watch a good movie on a big screen.

Im so disappointed to hear that they are making this theatre as expensive as the others, this place was an amazing theatre that big families would be able to take their families and not break the bank! Now NWA will have to pay 9$ for even just a day time movie! Freaking ridiculous.....

To Samuel fields who put a really rude review about this theater. They have redone it it it is great it has recliner seating. I dont know what theater youre talking about as far as seating in price but this isnt the one you are sadly mistaken him this theater is great

Best bet if you have a lot of folks going to the movie and the drive-in isnt open. Cant beat $3 tickets. Yes, its a bit run-down but truthfully, youre not there for the decor anyway. Their concession stand prices arent that great, so maybe eat before you go.

If you dont mind not being at the local premier of a new movie and care more about saving dome money, this is so worth it. Also, its almost never busy when I go (weekdays) so my girlfriend and we often have a theater to ourselves.

Love the place. Came here in high school and I keep coming back. Granted the movies are already in the stores by the time our little Malco gets them. Cant beat $3 a movie.

This is a good place to see a movie you missed for cheap. Its fallen out of repair a bit and the staff is not overly friendly, but it beats paying $10.00 for a movie.
