Honestly, this is one of the worst theaters that I have ever been to. Driving home from visiting a friend in Valpo, my friend and I decided to stop at this theater and catch the horror flick Mirrors. For the entire 30 minutes that we stayed, there was constant talking and laughing in the audience. Moreover, a young girl (about 7 years old) at this R movie was continually talking. The manager would not refund our money, instead provided us useless vouchers to see another movie at this theater.

This place is absolutely ghetto. Parents let their kids run around and be loud with out any regard for other patrons. Last time kid kept talking often and loud went to snack shop to look for help no one there. After giving up went to front to ask for a refund. Manager wouldnt issue a refund even though ticket taker said yes that the manager would have to do it for me. Many other times patrons are are their phones again with out regard for other patrons.

The theater is decent for the price that you pay. Sometimes it can be extremely cold or extremely hot. Since Carmike has bought out the place back in August, the concession food has declined. The nachos USED to be the BEST and the reason that I chose this theater over others however I HATE the new pre-bagged tortilla chips and cheese sauce in a cup! Both are very gross! Please go back to the old nachos and cheese!! Please!!

I havent been since Carmike bought it out but Im going tonight just to see these improvements I keep reading about. The last time I went which was approximately 3 years ago, I remember the staff were very young and unprofessional, patrons were rude and ratchet(on their phones), and the seats smelled like booty...so I dont know, I shall see tonight and will write a follow up review.

This is the worst movie theater I have ever been to to! I would rate it 0 stars if I could. Bathrooms are disgusting, theaters are dirty and staff are incredibly rude! And the candy prices are ridiculous and so overpriced, 5 dollars for a box of skittles? I could get it for one dollar at the dollar store across the street! Security guard and manger were also rude!

The amount of theatres in this area (like, 1 mile radius) has drastically decreased. Cinema 8 remains as one of the few places folks in this area can watch commercial movies without having to drive over 45 mins and spend an arm and leg. There has been significant upgrades to the screening rooms and theatre in general to appease ever slimming local market.

Those who have stated this place is nice and that the customers that attend are ghetto are probably employees. The customer service here is terrible and the theater needs both cosmetic and structural improvements. One star is given because of price; this theater is cheaper than most Chicagoland theaters. Do not eat the food; It is barely actual food.

Its a nice theater, and since its been upgraded to a Carmike theater, weve noticed the improvements such as the resurfaced parking lot and a variety of packages offered at the concession stand. Its very affordable, their movies are always first-run movies, and we have enjoyed the rewards card program.

Today nothing is going wrong, except the bathrooms are a lot pissy, yes thats what you read. You can smell them.before entering, and I was getting water (by auditorium 3), should have gone to Country Club Hills or Alsip but Lansing is cool with me.....missed them when they closed over 18 years ago.

Its a nice place to go but when its day time, during the night theres usually a lot of ghetto people. Over all the place is a nice place to go to. Its clean and has good staff. Another thing I would say is the food is a little over price but then again where is a theater that has cheap good food?

Garbage!!!!!!! this was thee most worst theAters i have ever been to. I was given these tickets for Christmas, And i do appreciate the gesture but never again. I set next to a idiot who talk the entire movie....nuts right! Tyler Good deep was awesome! love the movie hate the theater;(

ITs an ok theater! The staff is very attentive, its clean, and they have some of the best popcorn. But on the certain days of the week like the weekend the youngsters can really be pests with the noise that they keep up. Other than that it is an ok place to catch a good movie.

I had my son birthday party there and it was terrible. There were holes in the ceiling, spiders running around, poor customer service, employees talking rude to us. I mean it was just down right ratchet. If you got a thot and trying to smash, thats the place for that (:

All the bad reviews are dumb, the staff is nice, the theater is clean, and its cheaper then any other theater around. I think its a great place and if you cant do a better job by opening up your own theater then dont complain, they dont have to let you in.

Movie was great 5 star from us. Theater although there werent allot of garbage on the ground as many others do. I stl felt it dirty Seats especially.. most employees were friendly. Ticket agent wasnt. I think those who take my money should be pleasant.

Ive had no problems here but its not the cleanest theaters Ive been to but not the dirtiest either so I give this theaters 4 stars. Its always been a pleasant experience for us but they could clean up a little bit more.

Doesnt maintain crowds well there was some effort but very little then some guards flirted with the customers couldnt help but see they were very young looking... When not crowded it can be very enjoyable.

I give it 4 stars for the pricing for the affordable snacks and for the current movies available I would gave it 5 but its dark musty and grimy inside the theater..

Movies are the same everywhere. So its all about the experience. It looks bland sears are okay though. I had to walk kind of far in the parking lot.

Went to see Resident Evil the final chapter there 2/4/17. It was a friendly environment and very clean and my children and I enjoyed the movie.

Laid-back and quiet. You dont have to worry about the typical movie crowds here. A bit old school so no reclining chairs but who cares?
