I am honestly still stunned by this place. Based on the location and the price and its proximity to the 80s style cinema "Regal Plaza 6" my expectations were low. They were blown out of the sky. The place has reclining reservable seats at LITERALLY a FRACTION of the cost of any theater in this town. Its like going to a movie back home, you know a normal price. Please CineMark, stay on the mark and keep your prices where they are. LOVE IT. Dont even think about it, just buy the tickets. EDIT: And I dont know who Andrew is below who said "prices are similar to theaters in the area" is true only at the Regal Cinema Plaza 6 but you get what you pay for there. In fact you can see a movie for $1.50 on Sundays and Tuesdays there but the experience is night and day. This is almost on par with gong to a prime theater at the AMC Burbank 16 (in fact, I like the seats better here. I quoting but am paraphrasing him but have no mistake about it, there is no theater Ive seen in the whole of Los Angeles that even comes close to the pricing and value for the pricing as this theater. Its pretty good projects (not HDR Primes but good) and good Dolby sound (no, not Atmos) but as a video and audiophile, I only like comfortable seats, I can promise, youll find no better value within 50 miles.

This used to be my favorite theater in the valley. Then I went to see Harry Potter, just one week old, at this theater. They crammed me into the smallest screen I had seen in the LA area with a low-volume stereo sound system straight out of the 70s. This is the Harry Potter finale, and thats what theyre showing it on. It honestly ruined the experience for me. When I told them about the issue shortly after getting dinner, they said that since I had physically stepped out of the theater first there is nothing at all they will do -- even though I still had the ticket stub and receipt. (If I hadnt, the only thing they would do is give me a ticket to another showing.) Before, they didnt have screens that small. But theyve since subdivided some of their screens to fit more movies and more people in there, and now its just not worth it. Im not going to risk watching a movie here again. By the way, their tickets are less expensive than other theaters in the Valley -- but only matinee, and only by a dollar or two. Concessions are definitely not less expensive, and evening prices are typical.

A comfortable, well maintained multiplex with powered leather recliners, wide isles, solid sound, video projection and a moderate admission price. A selection of popcorn, candy and other snacks, as well as, soft drinks, are offered from two separate snack bars. There are lots of helpful and friendly ushers and servers. Off the lobby is a video arcade. My reserved electric recliner was near the rear of the auditorium. With the leg rest fully extended and the back set to a comfortable angle, the sight line was excellent. An easily accessible area for wheelchairs, marked with in floor lighting, is complemented with comfortable seating for companions. Thirteen minutes of commericals and trailers played after the scheduled start time of the feature. Everything is wheelchair accessible in this elevator building. Theres lots of free, covered parking. Both gender neutral and single sex bathrooms are available. On Mondays, discounts are offered. Purchasing seats on the internet is strongly recommend. Ticket lines can be long.

Great place to watch a movie! The theaters vary greatly in size, but each is tidy before each movie. The seats are super comfy and fully recline, and the armrests lift up so you can snuggle with your significant other. Also, you never have to worry about someone blocking your view of the screen. Theres that much room between rows. If youre going on a week night, dont waste your money booking your tickets online. Almost all seats are good, and most are available, so dont pay for that "convenience fee." (The weekends are a different matter.) I would suggest checking the seating status online beforehand, and booking if you feel you might have limited options when you get there. They honestly have the friendliest ticket sellers Ive encountered. They let me know if there is a better seat based on my viewing preferences. They also dont rush me. My favorite part about Cinemark though is $6 Tuesdays! All movies, all day for only $6. Can someone say "date night"?

Well first things first, I have to say that the staff at Cinemark Century 8 are awesome!!!!! Ive never felt so welcomed in a movie theater. They always have a smile on their faces and are eager to please and make your movie experience as joyful and memorable as possible. Me and my sister made this theater our #1 theater and will not go to any other theater. If a movie that we want to see is not playing at Century 8 we just wont see it. We will wait for it to come out on DVD. But 9 times out of 10 our movies are there. The theater seats are very comfortable and Ive actually fell asleep. Its like being in your home watching a movie in your personal home theater. I never want to leave. The concessions are always soooo clean and organized. The popcorn is always fresh and yummy. I also love the jalapeño cheese hot dogs. I recommend all of my friends and family to go there and theyve also said they love it there. Keep up the great job!!!!!!

I really enjoy coming here and this is a very positive review however I cannot give more than three stars because then it would be hard to make a real comparison between my other higher reviews. Note though that the attractive prices make this cinema worth it in spite of the minor attributes that may deter some moviegoers. Sure, looking on from outside, you may think its nothing special. You may also come inside and words like "old" and "oudated" might come to mind. But dont forget that it is conveniently located with fair prices, current movies and although it may have let itself go in terms of ambiance, the screens and sound are A-OK, which is really the most important thing you want from a cinema (I would choose this over a high-tech, ultra modernly decorated multiplex with a tiny and stained screen). It servces its purpose and does it well. For no-frills people, I recommend this no-frills cinema. Maybe not ideal for dates though.

For a movie theater that has reclining and reserve seating is a pretty good deal for the price. On Tuesdays its a lot cheaper for 6.50 you can go ahead and watch a movie. During their matinee hours its 7.50 and during the weekends its 10.50 but if youre a student theyll only charge you 8.50 which is a good discount compared to other theaters out there. They have a good selection for concessions and they have combos so you can get a deal for your buck. My only concern is maybe they should work on their cleanliness a bit more especially during their rush hours they seem to forget the common areas as well as the bathrooms. Other than that its a good place to watch movies. They also have a rewards program so you can get rewards such as free movies and free stuff at concessions.
