Our daughter signed a contract to book a venue at Hidden Waters last week. First, the venue had written an incorrect amount on the contract. Second, our daughter wasnt provided a copy of the signed contract so she had no way of knowing that the venue had the contract drawn for the wrong amount. Once the facility noticed THEIR mistake, they started badgering our daughter to come in to sign yet another contract and insinuating the date chosen was not guaranteed. In addition, they refused to mail my daughter the original signed contract! All this happened within a weeks time. My daughter had a valid contract, but the owner later claimed that it wasnt valid because deposit had not been paid yet. Yet, the venue didnt require the deposit at the signing of the contract. What kind of facility refuses to honor their own, legally executed contract? Glad we found out early what kind of business we were dealing with. Just my opinion but this business is not about customer service. I also believe that whatever goes wrong, the finger will be pointed at the customer!! Also interesting that employee/s and/or family members of this venue leave positive Google reviews (i.e., Leah Martinek). This should not be allowed! Beware!!!

I booked this venue last week, I and the staff signed a contract, and the deposit was to be received this week by the venue. They relized they made an error on their end for the cost, and started calling and emailing me to come back up to the venue to sign a new contract for more money. I informed Jennifer I wasnt able to come in that afternoon, and she replied saying they cannot promise to hold my date without a new signed contract and deposit. I was not provided a signed copy of my contract and formally requested it twice and she said she can only provide me the signed contract for more money once I come in to sign! It was a legal contract, and refused to work with me or be even remotely apologetic. I have since cancelled my wedding at Hidden Waters, its a beautiful venue and I had every intention of having my wedding there, but I was extremely uncomfortable moving forward with people who run their business like this! Jennifer in my experience has been agressive and hostile towards me, despite the error being on their end. Always look at all the reviews on other sites too, some sites allow deletion as she has already done. Also she has emailed me threatning "defamation" for posting facts.

I cant tell you what this venue means to me. Watching it grow from the ground up and getting to work with such wonderful people is a daily blessing. I am proud to be associated as an employee with this venue and can not wait to see what the future has in store for so many beautiful brides.

Owners were very helpful day of the event. Due to the weather the ceremony was moved inside and the transition after the ceremony went well. The tables were reset and the reception began without a hitch. This is a very beautiful venue and my daughters wedding was a joyous event.
