My recent experience at regals was going so well I walked in a nice lady gave me my tickets and I was on my way to order some Nachos .etc. And as soon as we arrived at the cash register a man replied to me welcome to regals what would you like but the tone of his voice killed my vibe he sounded like he had better things to do than take my order but the funny part his their was racism in the whole thing.Their were a beautiful black couple in front of us and they ordered there food and left to enjoy their movie and they guy sounded enthusiastic but as soon as we walked forward his face changed to a more annoyed look and his tone of voice like I mentioned changed because my mom didnt know english so she would tell me what she wanted and I would tell the man what my mom wanted but the expression on his face pissed me off I was about blurt out can I talk to your manager because regals policy never mentioned anything about racism. And another reason you guys deserve a three star is because people in the theater would sit where ever but leave 1 or 3 gaps between them selves like why cant they fill up all the seats so me and my family had to sit in the front row and thanks to the The recliner chairs we had no neck aches when looking up at the screen other than thats my experience at regals was great love the place.
My wife and I were seated in the first row all the way to the left and heard crackling coming out of the theater during the loudest action scenes of Wonder Woman. After bringing this to the attention of the Manager and that it negatively affected our viewing, he thanked us. After asking for reward or partial refund, the Manager said there was nothing he could do. After insisting and stating that we have lived across the street from this theater for 6 years and that this was our first complaint, he still said there was nothing he could do except tell his tech to fix the problem. Is this the kind of treatment Regal instills in Managers for loyal, local, long time customers that bring a technical problem to their attention? Just came from Regal Cinemas in North Brunswick on a date night with my husband and was surprised to have police outside AND inside the theater #2 showing of "All Eyez on me" at 9:40 pm checking tickets. As a patron, why did police and not theater personnel check tickets of necessary. Not sure who made the decision that at a film about an African American rap artist, police were necessary to check tickets. That presence not give a sense of safety but was more intimidation and was uncalled for particularly called for in North Brunswick. If there was a threat, it should have been communicated and there should have been police in every theater -not just that one. Really left a bad impression on the theatre for this showing which we regularly attend.
Worst management ever. This theater gives me new experience for each time I visit. once there was no background music(khaidi 150), next time there is an problem with projection color it was brownish (Bhahubali) ,when I asked reason for that they are saying it is because of over usage of print (Seriously), and Recently for Transformers, they projected in 4:3 aspect ratio, we asked manger to rectify that ,he said they are working on that. it wasnt fixed till end of the movie... Please Concentrate on giving customer satisfaction rather than just Taking money.
Worst Experience Ever / Do Not Go place I and my husband went for 9:00 pm Sultan show , there was a family in the theatre who had blocked more than 5 seats and other family members had not yet arrived in the theatre . Theater crew members were so incompetent to resolve this issue . In spite of having a manager and a cop there , they were unable to explain the female about regulations on not blocking the seats and resolve the issue. I Am Never Going to Go Back To This Regal Cinema On Route 1. Our whole date night got spoiled ..
This theater was once quite clean and their presentation very on point. Unfortunately the last few times I have gone I have walked into uncleaned theaters. In two of the last few movies I went to the house lights stayed up the whole film, which also means none of the staff bothers to check on their running theaters. Relying solely on their customers to let them know when something is wrong. Based on how this theater has changed I would only suggest going to Regal when the show times are convenient.
Excellent theater. Recently added reclining seats and walls to each row. This way you cannot see anyone in the rows below you. No cell phone screens to draw your eye anymore! I noticed some people complaining that they sell too many tickets that people have ti sit in the front row... It isnt too many tickets if there are still seats, even if the seats are in the front row. It is only too many tickets if there are no more seats at all in the theater.
They advertise recliners...but I went tonight to see Captain America and they only had standard seats...which is disappointing and misleading. Asked the ticket taker and he said half the theater has recliners and you need to check online or know what time and which theater to book...as far as I know its all the same price...not right at all. It is a nice theater but anything without a recliner these days is second rate.
Every since this Regal location added recliners to all screens and added the RPX experience this theater became way better and worth it. Regal always feels like a comfortable and relaxed movie theater. And the aesthetic has an old school theater vibe to it. The only problem is that refreshments always has lines that take a long time to get through. The employees seem to take longer than they have to.
Excellent Theaters. Management and people working there are nice. I went to see Bahubali there, I went there after watching show times (by mistakes of course) for AMC theaters on route 1, the Bahubali show in Hindi was not going to start until 6:00 PM. The people at the counter called AMC theaters verified that the show was going to start in next 15 minutes. I felt this was vary nice of them to do.
The location is awesome and appreciate the cinema carrying bollywood movies. But the sound system is sub standard compared to other cinemas in the area. I watched movies at Regal and other cinema a week apart and found that the sound system is not audiophile level at Regal. Also the cinema size is small at Regal even though I saw latest release there (versus 1 month old movie at the competition )
Worst movie theater ever they sell too many tickets....so people from all ages have to stand or sit with neck ache front room seat!!! I told manager and he acting like he didnt care!!! Iam going to email corporate and talk to a District Manager...I gave** them a chance to fix it!!! This is about the 4th time I went to this movie theater!!! I WONT Be GOING...BACK!!
