I hate AMC because they sell gift cards that can only be used in-person. My son gets gift cards to AMC all the time. Most of them cannot be used online. Instead, you can only use them in-person, at the actual theater. Thats a PIA because you HAVE TO buy your tickets in advance due to the limited number of seats. That means I have to DRIVE over to the theater, either the day before, or the morning of to get tickets, and then DRIVE home with the tickets, and then DRIVE BACK to the theater to see the show. Their website is also terrible. It frequently hangs-up and then when you refresh, it shows the seats you had selected as no longer available. You have to wait several minutes for the system to refresh, and then try again. Entering gift cards is also a nightmare because the session frequently times out and you have to start all over again! Lastly, they dont list their hours anywhere. Not on the website, not on google, and not on the after-hours message you get when you call. So now I have to guess what time they open so I can unnecessarily drive all the way over there to phyically buy tickets in person. Yes, it is 2017. I HATE AMC! EDIT: The actual theater is great though. Big comfy recliners.

Well, it turns out you are forced to show ID to see an R rated movie no matter how old you are. So anyone that forgets any form of ID is screwed immediately. So to get those people in, you would have to call in someone 21 or older just to get you in the door. Once we got in, after calling a parent, we were immediately put on the radar for being "not allowed in an R rated movie without an adult". When we sat down, the parent didnt exactly want to stay, so after about 5 minutes they left. One of the staff immediately ran to us and said we had to leave immediately, even though i was of age and had my ID ON ME AND USED IT TO GET IN. So just because a couple people in my group were either not of age or didnt have the proper identification with them, I, who was above age and had proper identification, was sent out of the movie as well. The staff ruined my night, being that we drove 30 minutes to get there, only to be sent home before even being able to see a movie. Also, we couldnt see a different movie, as the refunds take at least 24 hours to process. Thank you so much for a waste of a Friday AMC

The recliner seats are super awesome, I love the food and drink options at the concession stand, however, I cant give this theater a great rating because of the lobbys up keeping. The concession area was completely trashed!!! The floors were sticky, soda was spilled all over the counters and there was so much popcorn on the floor that it looked like a popcorn snow storm hit the theater!! It was everywhere!! The bathrooms were completely trashed as well!! There was no soap at the one sink, the trashcan was overflowing with paper towels, paper towels, toilet paper and toilet paper rolls were all over the floor and the sanitary disposal box was full and had several pieces of toilet paper hanging out of it. There were other women in the restroom besides me who appalled by the condition of the bathroom. I dont know if want to return here or not.

Now my favorite theater! The new seats are great, they make long movies better because you can be comfortable, there arent any bad seats, you can see fine wherever youre seated, and can can choose your seats ahead of time if you going to a movie you know will be crowded and you dont have to squeeze past people to get to the concession stand or bathroom because there is plenty of room. The only downside is that to make this theater so nice, the closed the other deptford theater so can only play so many movies at a time and only play them for about a month each.

As a Stubs member... I LOVE online, reserve seating. I remember back in the day, camping out to get tickets to a movie I was waiting to see for opening night... NOT ANY MORE!! Other AMC offer reserve seating but they have vibrating chairs... I find that just distracting. Like a kid kicking my chair... Not here! Self Serve drinks and butter on popcorn is stupid and super time consuming, but I guess thats just how "progress" is. But... At least Im not waiting in line for a ticket!

Despite the lovely seating, I very infrequently go to this theatre (although it is only 10 min. from my home!) Instead I will travel to the Ritz in Voorhees who have a much wider variety of films and more reasonable pricing for tickets and a wider variety of decent refreshments. Prices at the AMC are expensive all around, staff always seem to have a flat demeanor exhibiting absolutely no energy and no interest in helping the customer to have a good experience.

Third time Ive been freezing cold in the theater. Third time Ive mentioned it to staff with no change. First time Ive had to run to my car mid movie to grab a blanket. Theyve upgraded to reclining seats for comfort, yet its extremely uncomfortable to be shivering throughout movie. Being cold makes it hard focus. When Ive spent over $12 for what I consider a matinee, I expect to have an enjoyable experience which is difficult when youre not comfortable.

Theater is nice. Seats are comfortable. Theater is never clean. Half of the time they have no lids for drinks which causes more messes. Restrooms are horrible, just hold it in and go to mall after your movie. Snackbar has only 30% of what they advertise. Everything always out of stock. The management appears to be in over their heads. Employees, while not quite rude, are not very enthusiastic.

I havent gone to this place many times, I go to the movies all the time with my grandma but she doesnt live near me and my mom and step dad take me, usually only Marvel movies. But the few times Ive gone to the place, it was excellent. The recliners are very comfortable, the popcorn is delicious xD and more. So if you wanted a good movie theater, I would defiantly advise this place.

The last time I was here was before it was redone but it has always been a good theater to me. The showings are great and go on late for when I got off work early. The food is overpriced but it is at any movie theater. The employees are friendly enough though most dont look like they want to be there. The sound is great and the color is good too. I have never seen a bad movie here!

Love this theater. We go to this one and the one in Marlton all the time. Comfortable seats, decent food and friendly employees. However, theater 6 is haunted! LOL!!! Spiderman, the projector broke....Gone Girl, the heater broke(could see our breath)....Spy, whole rows of seats wouldnt recline! Weve been in all 8 theaters and this is the only one that has problems...creepy;)

An older theater that has been renovated with newer reclining seats. This improves the experience, but good luck getting tickets to a popular movie the day of. You almost have to reserve your seats a few days in advance to make sure you can get the ones you want. Also, the renovations come at a price - tickets and concession costs are higher than other theaters.
