The movie aspect was great, but the dine-in part, not so much. Menu items are extremely over priced for the quantity AND quality received. I paid $17.91 for their Asian Bowl (a steak, shrimp, & vegetable stir fry over sticky rice). When the bowl was brought to me, the food was barely lukewarm. A few pieces of rice were hard and the soy sauce mixture was gathered at the bottom of the bowl, which made the rice salty. Now I only waited 5-8 minutes for my dish, so I was skeptical once it was brought to me. After taking 1-2 bites, I asked the server if he could reheat it since it was clear it had not just been cooked over the stove. The server denied my request and stated that once customers "touch it, we cant place it in the microwave". I explained how it was never steaming hot to begin with and his response was "this dish has never been hot when served, its usually warm and it doesnt stay warm for very long, Im so sorry about that. Is there anything thing else you need?" The server basically acknowledged that this dish is not served hot (although Asian stir fry is ALWAYS steaming hot when served off the stove). This was served to me during one of their last showings at 11:30 pm (movie started around 12 am), so maybe they have a different method of cooking/serving food past a certain time, but I dont like the fact that I paid almost $20 for a small amount of lukewarm, salty stir fry. I have attached an image of the exact, same size bowl they use. P.S: Please keep in mind that the bowl was not filled to the top and they charge you for your dish BEFORE they bring it to you. I am also aware that movie theaters are more expensive when it comes to food, but I am highly dissatisfied with the quality of food I received and how it was not corrected by the server. Popcorn is about $8.60 (+ tax) - one size Soft drinks cost around $5.29 (+ tax) (free refills) - I did not purchase these items, specifically because of the quality of the entrée that I tried. I did not want to waste another $15 on popcorn and a drink. Overall, Id say the (RealD 3D) movie experience was better than other AMCs, simply because of the assigned seating. I chose a seat that does not have neighboring seats, so I liked being able to put my feet up without disturbing others. I personally would not recommend their Asian Bowl, but cannot speak on the other entrées. If their stir fry was not given much effort, I am even more skeptical to try their other menu items and most likely wont, unless I have an AMC gift card. I would continue attending this theater as a movie goer only, but will probably refrain from ordering anything from their menu, except for maybe enjoying a free water :)

Perfect place for a date! This is a must do for date night and you have limited time because of the baby sitter. If you live in Central Phoenix and you want to have the true movie experience, then you have to go here. The ultra comfortable big leather chairs (only wish they fully reclined) and intimate theater size are a huge plus. You can get the normal concessions that are at every movie theater, but thats not why you come here. The best way to get the most out of your experience is you get to have a sit down dinner with your movie. You can get a variety of food and beverages and even cocktails wine and beer all delivered to your seat. Bring your wallet because it is pricey for a movie and dinner all in one. We had 2 appetizers (avg. $9/each), 2 entrées ($13/each), 2 nonalcoholic beverages (free refills, but theyre almost $6 each) and shared a dessert ($6)and then the gratuity (I normally tip 20%-30% when I get good to excellent service, which I did) . Thats not including the tickets ($12.50/each) to get in. So you can easily drop $100. I strongly suggest that you get you seats in advance for best seating (use Atom movie app) and arrive at least 15 minutes before the show time. The theater is located on one of the upper floors adjacent to the garage, so you have to walk a tiny bit even if you use the elevator. If you have real difficulty walking then you need to get there even earlier. If you Parking is free with validation (bring the parking receipt ticket with you from the gate entry of the parking garage and as soon as you get in the door, the machine is to the left side on the ticket counter. Valid BEFORE going into the movie; good for 3 hours). So the service is amazing! My waitress (I wish I could remember her name Id post it) was on top of it. The kitchen, not so much. The entrée that I originally wanted (steak and shrimp teriyaki bowl) was the ONLY item that wasnt available that day.

Im not one to write these reviews. However, this place was HORRIBLE. It started when we got there. We ordered the tickets through AMCs fandango service. When we got to AMC 14 the guest service said there was nothing to pick up and went on to the next customer. After finding the PayPal charge email we got our tickets. Then we got into the theater and pressed the button to order food. Our appetizer came fast which was good. So fast that it came before our drinks. 40 minutes into the movie we look around and the servers were picking up peoples empty baskets, while we didnt even get our entree yet. It did end up coming about an hour into the movie. During this whole hour we did not get any drink refills. We pushed the little button and the server came right away. We asked for a refill and my girlfriends iced tea came with in 5 min. My soda water, however, did not. After about 20 Minutes a drink comes and its sprite. No big deal, accidents happened and I just didnt drink it. 5 minutes before the movie ends a server comes up and gives me a drink and this time it was soda water. That got me thinking, either someone messed up and gave me the wrong drink and it took 40 minutes to figure it out Or it took 40 minutes to get my drink out in the first place. This was not even the worst part. The bill was. The first thing I saw was the $4.00 dollar charge for my girlfriends Iced Tea (Whatever, drinks are always expensive in theaters.) What really stood out to me was the $4.50 for a soda water. Soda water costs next to nothing for the business. At the end of the bill there was 2 different tax charges. One was the 9% Arizona tax, the other was a Non Alcohol tax charge. Really? A charge for NOT getting alcohol? This place had horrible customer service, the prices were ridiculous, and the theater was mediocre at best. Never going back there again.

I had the worst movie experience I have ever had in my life and I am a frequent movie goer. From the parking all the way until I had to leave the movie 25 minutes in I will give you the full experience in 5 simple bullet points: 1. Parking was hard to figure out. I parked in the garage for the shopping center and had to walk about 10 minutes in the 100 degree weather to finally get to a broken escalator. Than I found the elevator that the sign said to use and that was broken too. Some other folks were also lost with my date and I and we found another elevator and that one finally worked. 2. We then arrived to the movie just on time (luckily) and decided that we would order some food as this was one of the big reasons we came. The food came and it was terrible. I order the signature Royal and it was so chewy and the meat tasted like a four day old McDonalds burger. (Not that I would know, but Im making an educated guess.) My date ordered the chicken strips and she could not eat them either. They were mainly just fried bread with very little chicken inside. 3. As the movie was starting my date and I knew it was not going to work. There was constant coughing/sneezing, kids were screaming, the whole ambiance. really ruined it for us to stay longer than 25 minutes so we decided to walk out then. 4. When we walked out I past the management and they knew something was not right and nobody even said a word, just a happy go lucky mentality by them not caring about the kind of quality their customers experience. 5. So just to summarize, dont waste your time with this theater. I paid nearly $70 just to ruin my Thursday night. I will stick with Harkins, at least they have the reclining seats.
