Sold-out showings due to recently implemented reserved seating make seeing a show a complete hassle. I have been coming to this Cinemark for over 10 years and have generally had good experiences with comfortable seating, good showtimes and discount specials, clean facilities, and pleasant staff. However, they recently switched to reserved seating, so even if you show up 30 minutes early for tickets, showtimes can be sold out, forcing you to wait another two hours for the next. With the new luxury lounge chairs- though having several amenities-there seem to be fewer seats and a higher chance with reserved seating that you will be stuck in the first or second row up-close-and-personal. I am not pleased with Cinemarks decision to become like a Flicks or Alamo Draft House and may have little choice but to reserve seats several days in advance of a show or go to Regal Lakeline to avoid sold-out showings. Would have been better just to make a few of the theater rooms into reserved/luxury loungers for those who wish to pay extra for additional amenities. What a hassle.

The staff is awesome and they always have a smile on their faces! Even at a 10am show! The restrooms are clean and so is the facility. I am an audiophile and run sound professionally. Their sound system is above average but It is definitley not amazing. I am very spoiled from being around high-end audio. It does make my opinion a bit more stringent than your average person going. The video quality is above average, but again.... I cant say it is spectacular. The seats are moderately comfortable and some of them squeak real bad. However, they do have the staging of the seating done very well. You will not have to worry about people in front of you blocking the screen. The food prices are high... Haha. I dont know of any theaters that have anything but overpriced food. So that really cant be someday negative. In summary... The pricing is where it should be for a movie theater and it is still an enjoyable experience.

Since this is one of the only theatres in the Cedar Park and Leander area I often times come here with friends and family and I always have a great time! I am absolutely in love with the reclining seats because not only do I feel that they are cleaner, the seats are also wider, more relaxing, and I dont feel on top of the random person sitting next to me. The staff is usually very welcoming and friendly which is really nice but the food is definitely over priced, but so is any movie theatre food. I like the option to reserve the seats in advanced, especially for a movie that is really popular, but it also can be incontinent. If I wanted to reserve seats online, I would be charged a $3.00 processing fee to every purchase on top of the already expensive tickets and food. All in all, this theatre is one of the nicer theatres that I have been to.

The new reserved seating plan here had ruined this theater. No more movie trips on a whim, everything must be planned many days in advance. It is rather pathetic. I wanted to update that the fact they use fandango for ticketing online makes it even worse. Fandango mobile app flat out doesnt work, and the online website works about %10 of the time. The decisions cedar park Cinemark theater are making are horrible. They do not care about being a community theater at all and are trying to compete with alamo or Ipic when the fact they were not like that was a huge draw. If you want to go to a movie here, you have to prepare about 1 to 2 weeks in advance. we used to go to the movies ath this theater 2-3 times a week. but no more. if the inconvenience of IPIC and alamo is present and you arent as good they are, you lose.

I took my kids to see Power Rangers today and I was extremely disappointed with the employees and manager today. I order a kids pack for my 6 year old son and my other 2 daughters. As we are walking out my son takes the lid off his drink and we find the soda spout inside his cup. I ask for the manager and she approached me. She already knew that this part was missing from the machine and right off the bat says, " we were looking for that, what would you like for it?" I didnt ask for anything or want anything. We enjoyed the movie and for her to assume we wanted anything was not right. Im not posting this to discredit this establishment, mistakes happen we are all human. But I am posting this so people check their drinks and so that employees can be more cautious. This was my kids cup and it could have been worse.

Reserved seating has been offered at various theaters in the United States for several years. The majority of reviews state that it is a horrible idea but Cinemark decided to forgo the negative response and change their theaters anyway. Forget the spontaneity of deciding to see a movie. If you are not at home where you can make the reservation you better hope you have a good signal on your device or you can get stuck sitting where you dont want to or stuck next to loud kids, talkers and cell phone abusers. Its like picking your seat on a plane or in a stadium. Remember new Coca-Cola? Add this to the "one more thing made worse by trying to make it better" list. Worth the short drive to another theater.

The theater is clean. The restrooms are well kept. The staff is friendly. They have the reclining chairs now. Which are very comfortable. There is lots of room to stretch out. Seating is reserved so you actually have to choose which seat you are going to sit in when you buy your tickets. This helps in a way because you dont have to hunt for a seat when you get inside the theater. But if its a popular movie you end up with whatever seats are left, usually the front. The concession is pricey but thats normal. They do have combos to save a little. And the Cinemark app gives you rewards.

I took my niece to finally see monster trucks like I have been promising her and she was super excited, we both really enjoyed the movie, and I would rate my experience 5 stars had the people behind me controlled their kids and not allowed to kick and push my seat through the entire movie. I constantly had to look back as they just continued to interrupt my movie experience with their uncontrollable kids, I hardly ever get to go out and spend time with my niece and when I do my time was ruined. The staff was really nice and friendly otherwise and we both enjoyed what the movie was about.

NO MORE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. I get that Cinemark spent thousands of dollars on new seats, but that doesnt mean they should only do reserved seating. They are not the Alamo Draft House and are not a fancy theater company. Being the only theater close by, now I have to plan days in advance if I want to see a movie. I cant just show up early and buy a ticket. I hope they lose business and change this rule because it was expensive enough before to go, now Its even worse and more inconvenient. Congratulations Cinemark, you just lost a family of customers.
