We have been going to this theater for the past six years. Everything usually is just fine. We recently just had a baby three months ago. We have taken him to multiple movies already and never an issue. Saturday night they would not let us into the movies because they dont allow anyone under six to go to a rated R movie after 6 PM. Mind you, we have taken him to about three rated R movies already after 6 PM but Saturday night was the first night we had any issues. I was very disappointed because I have never heard of this before and we have never been stopped before. We dont have anyone that can watch a three-month-old while we go to the movies. It is the only time my wife and I can go on dates because we work so much. We left the theater very disappointed and went over to Harkins. We went straight to their manager and asked if we were allowed to watch the rated R movie with our infant. They had no problem with it and we are able to watch our movie. If you have children under six do not go to AMC after 6 oclock to watch a rated R movie. It sucks but they just lost my business forever. I know it wont mean much to them but it is very disappointing to us. Like I said weve been going for six years but I guess Harkins will take my business now.

This was my first visit to this location since they installed the recliners. While they were very comfortable, it did not make up for the fact that there is a short wall in front of every row with about another 8 inches of Plexiglas on top of it. If you actually recline in the chair, the Plexiglas covers the bottom half of the screen, which slightly distorts the view and leaves a black line across the screen from the top edge of the glass. This completely distracted me through two movies today and gave me a bit of a headache. I asked about it on the way out and was told it is required due to how high the seat platforms are. I wont be returning to this location, or any other with this seating, unless that is removed. It is not only highly annoying, but also stupid. If someone is going to fall over the wall, into the next row of seats (all of 2 feet), then this extra plastic is not going to stop them. I was also told that I had to reserve my seat since they installed "premium seating". That makes no sense due to the fact that if there are 75 seats and they sell 75 tickets, everyone has a seat. Why do I have to "reserve" my seat. Isnt that what happens when I buy one of the 75 tickets?

I would give this a 0 if possible. The cashier Lily, at arrowhead amc14, messed up our tickets and wanted to do nothing to accommodate us. We had purchased our tickets at 3:30 for the 10:40 show and she ended up selling us tickets for a 3:10 show which we would have never made anyways because it was already past then. So when we showed up for the 10:40 showing, after having purchased food and drinks for all seven of us, we confronted people who were supposedly in the seats we had reserved, only to learn the wrong showing was sold to us. After talking to the workers at the front, their response consisted of admitting that our confrontation with the strangers would have been awkward without offering and sort of refund. We had to bring up getting refunded, and they only offered voucher tickets even though they are the ones that made the mistake. We wont be returning to such a theater that doesnt take accountability in their mistakes. The customer service is lacking, and left us all very frustrated.

They advertise dinning in seats "what a joke"! their staff fought over who would deliver the food before the movie. After they settled who would bring the food which they promised it would be delivered during the trailers. Finally went and checked as the movie started and was assured it was coming... 30 minutes later still nothing. Went back and spoke to the manager and was given two free movie tickets, two burnt pizzas and had to wait another 10 minutes for my sons food. 120.00 for dinner and a movie is a joke especially when the food quality low and service is poor. Also other customers were complaining about because 2 of the 3 soda machines were not working. AMC, stop over promising and under delivering. Its bad for businesses! Highly doubtful I will go back to this location or any AMC theaters.

Went here today to see the premier of jurrasic world. Made it through about half of the movie when the theater lights turned on and the video stopped playing. One of the theater employees came in and said to stay calm and they would fix the problem. So I stayed in my seat and they kept playing the audio, guess it was too much to ask for them to turn that off since we couldnt see anything. So after about 45 minutes of watching a blank screen, most of the theatergoers had left already so I figured Id better head home too. Apparently every theater in this amc had the same thing happen at the same time. Anyways, never going to a movie at any amc ever again, this pretty much ruined jurrasic world for me, and any positive thoughts I might have had about amc. Never going to this trash theater again

This is the only movie theater my wife and I go to and we live in Wickenburg, AZ. We drive 50 minutes every date night to watch a movie there. Very proficient as long as you pay for your tickets in advance, the line and wait can be long otherwise. The powered leather recliners are very comfortable and pretty cool that you can pick your seating online too! I dont know what the issue is about the sound quality in the other ratings, it is full surround and temperature is perfect. Sometimes a little on the cold side my wife says but I run a little hot anyways so cold is nice! Once you go recliner you will never go back to regular seating, makes it much more of a relaxing watch, kinda like a home movie night.

Reserved seating!!!! I love that I dont have to wait in line for a new release to hope to get a decent seat I can just reserve it ahead of time. The prices are slightly higher than Harkins but you get your worth in the reclining seats. My only problem with the reclining seats is i tend to go in a party of 3 and as the dad I sit in that third seat with a stranger on occasion and it can be like you are laying down with them. Also all you can drink refills on the self serve drink station and they put out jalapenos for the popcorn. love this place! Oh and now they have a full BAR!!!
