a weak ago me and my brothers went to see The Purge it was no problem getting in, And today we went to see Lucy and the staff asked us to have our IDs ? okay the purge they didnt even bother to ask and now they decide on doing so? its ridiculous. i am 18 years old and the person at front for ticketing told me i didnt looked as aged. i wasnt the one buying the tickets my brother was, he is 21 hes considered an adult. however she said that no i must have a paper showing that i am related to him and that hes my guardian. now really? thats not the thing that got me mad, the thing is that she let 3 people in to see Lucy and she didnt ask for their IDs. i went up to her and i asked her, why? she said that the girl looked old. what about the other two people that were with the person she let in? she didnt even bother to ask them, i am sure the person that got in was older than 21. Now why couldnt she let us in if my brother show her his ID and she said no she needed to see all of us. which makes no sense, it was an act of racist and judgement because she clearly told me i didnt looked as aged, how does she know? just because others look old, shes going to be like " oh yes your old enough go ahead" she doesnt know that, if shes going to treat us like that, is shes going to treat people like that at least treat everyone equal. she made it sound and seem so judgmental. i will have to speak to the manager about it soon.

Yesterday was a first time in a long time to geta chance to go to the movies. Because of my experience, it probally will be long again before I go back to a CineMark. The Folsom Ca. theatre is in need of a refurb. Walking in i was very surprised at the size of the screen. I felt like I was at home watching a tv. Then I noticed the condition of the screen. Dirty and stained. My eyes kept getting drawn to the dirty areas throughout the movie. Picture quality was Horrible. Not sharp and seemed to be out of focus. Being a proffesional photographer I notice these things. Sound? I have a better setup at home. I was thinking of attending a another movie today but not at a CineMark theater. Hope things improve.....

if youre looking for a place to be alone with a date the movie theater would be it there are absolutely no customers, most of the seats are built flat so no rise you would see peoples heads in front of you if there were any people, Ive been here at least 10 * never anyone there you can movie theater hop if youd like they dont care. its actually amazing this place hasnt gone out of business the floors are always sticky and the Theater is always understaffEd. most of the time you have your ticket taken at the popcorn concession stand.... they stole the ticket takers job and the box office job.

It seems that they dont know how to run a cinema. I went to watch 2012 expecting to see spectacular CG scenes on the big screen, but it turned out to be a huge waste of money as the screen was out of focus and constantly vibrating. The sound also cut out quite a few times. Been here 4,5 times in the past but the experience was almost always terrible. Film melted, they left the lights on during the feature, and so on. I could deal with having to watch a film on a smaller screen or in crappy seats, but out-of-focus picture? no way.

Last two times there were issues. They forgot to turn the house lights down when movie started, had to get up and tell someone, then, on another day, they didnt have the volume turned up when movie started, had to get up and tell someone. Both were 3D viewings and Sunday mornings which is only times I can go to movies. Maybe they could get someone with glasses to focus the movies as most the time the movies were slightly out of focus. It couldve been a better viewing experience all the way around.

Bought a $ 50 gift card and asked for a small empty popcorn bag to put the gift card in for presentation, like they do at the Elk Grove Century theater. The attendant said they cant do it for inventory purposes. Seriously, the bag probably costs 2 cents. I asked for the manager and she wouldnt do it either. Terrible customer service. I will never go to this theater again. Go to the Palladio theaters instead.

Cheap tickets here, even for new releases! Matinee price is $5.25 and standard price is $7.25. 3D tickets can also be had for $2.50 more if thats your thing. Other than that its pretty much your standard movie theater. Seats are decent and there is ample leg room. The height between rows could be a little higher as people in front might obstruct your view if youre short. There is also a small arcade inside.

My favorite theater to take my grandkids. Its clean, very low prices - better than anywhere. Where else can you take 4 people for $21.00? Matinees are awesome. They sell out with popular movies so I began buying tickets at Fandango to ensure no disappointment. Its a great place. Movies, across the street is McDonalds, the Folsom outlets, or many other great options.

Popcorn was ok, seats well used. But the prices for 3D very affordable 9.75 cant beat that.So if youre willing to sacrifice a little and save alot. Or have a larger family and want to spoil them a little and maybe take them to ice cream with the extra you saved as a special treat. This is the perfect place to go for an inexpensive but still fun time.

I love this old place. I dont care that some of the chairs dont recline and its a little outdated. The people who work here are fantastic! Theres always parking and plenty of room inside. The prices are the lowest around and the location is great! We drive passed two other theatres just to come here! Keep up the good work.

Bought our tickets on Fandango and couldnt get the QR code for them to scan back on my phone. We were inside at the snack bar check out line and the girl was so helpful and asked for the card I used to pay, she swiped and found our tickets. I give 5 stars for 1) helpful staff 2) clean facility 3) the seats were way comfy!

Reasonable priced; especially on Tuesdays. Typical theater; can get a little dirty and sticky at times. Picture and sound usually stay in focus unlike the Palladio 16 up the street. Has a diverse selection of movies oriented towards many audiences; Bali-wood movies, retro movies, documentaries, and some anime.

This is the deepest discount Cinemark theater complex in the region. Fourteen screens for the latest releases. If you like 3D, their projection is pretty good, although some theaters in the complex are brighter than others. Senior Monday is $4.75 and the senior price on other days is $5.25, add $2 for 3D.

4 times now! We have gone out there and the closed captioning DOESNT WORK! We have continued to try to give this place a chance over a years time and, no. If you are Deaf, you are not welcome. The only reason I gave it one star was because you cant write a review unless you give it at least one. Its sad.
