We had a foursome and all play regular golf. However, one was my son. The Marshall was on us the entire time until finally we left the course at the fifth hole. He not only hovered over us, he harassed us telling us we were too slow. He did not want to recognize the fact that we had to wait at each hole before we could hit because the people in front of us were slow. There was also no one on our backs. The course is so short anyone of us could have hit the party ahead of us, except my son. We would allow him to tee off, then we would have to wait. It was quite possibly the worst golf experience any of us have had. If you want a little 9-hole, go to JFK. It is right down the street. Better yet, stick to Saddle Rock or Aurora Hills...at least they are pleasant and welcoming to children...the future of the game. I would like to add that on holes where my son had an off shot, he picked up and would just putt. We are all aware of how to work a course...oh, and by all means do not take more than one practice swing...we were all reprimanded for that too...Funny...you can take one practice swing and hit 10 strokes on a par 4 or three practice swings and birdie the hole, but you will get in trouble for the latter...huh.

If youre looking for a very walkable 9 hole executive golf course, this is a great option. My wife doesnt play a lot of golf so I dont like to take her out to a lot of the championship length courses. But she loves these quick 9 holes which fills her needs. Heather Gardens is part of a senior community and is tucked in very nicely off Parker Rd and I-225. Club house is nothing special by any means and thats ok. The course is very well kept. While the course is very straight forward, the greens can actually be a bit of a challenge. But its a very fair course and a great option for beginners or people just looking to get out for a quick 9.

Lady up front older heavier set short haired blonde was very rude and disrespectful. I was trying to play 18 but I guess carts have to be in by 515 so when I rounded nine it was 540 so she denied me playing another 9 fully knowing I would get the cart back in by there 730 close time. Thats right they close at 730 when the sun sets at 9pm and its a par 32 so really short plus I paid 30 for a cart and 9 which is a rip off. I suggest golfing elsewhere it took me and hour 15 to play
